It's a do or sink situation for Mulayam and Laloo or the Yadav jodi ro pair!!!!! If General Elections are held now SP and RJD will very poorly fare!!! SIMI blasts Indians and Sarkaar is trying to get the ban on SIMI lifted!!!! For political gains this lifting of ban is being gifted!!! Police all over India were shocked when the ban was lifted!!!!! Someone joked saying ' Seems for summer from Delhi to Murri MHA's shifted'!!! In the olden days Kings shifted base during harsh summers to the hills!!!! Murri is a hill station in Pakistan and during the summer with people it fills!!! There is no way that MHA does not have info on SIMI's devious plan!!!! And we all know why Congress wants to lift the ban!!! Under Shivraj Patil MHA has become a laughing stock!!!! Many MHA Officials crib that friends karte hai unko mock!!! Sonia has rightly chosen Amrinder to lead Congress in Punjab !!! In this decision for Congress there is 'laab' ( benefit)!!!! She should only take a commitment from him that he'll not get distracted!!!! During the last Punjab election pretty irresponsibly he acted!!! It should not be…. saari duniya ek taraf and Arusa darling ek taraf!!!! For his overheating he should be ordered to keep handy baraf (ice)!!!! One part of Amar Singh's dream is to be the power behind Delhi 's Throne!!! The other part is that in this he should be alone!!! No wonders Mulayam's kin are wary of him!!!! They take Amar's control over Mulayam as something very grim!!! Recently many have felt that Amar runs the show and Mulayam's his flunky!! Looked like Amar is the madaari and Mulayam is his monkey!!! Till negotiations are not completed Cabinet reshuffle has been put on hold!!! To the prospect of joining the Sarkaar SP is sometimes hot and sometimes cold!!! And then as it is Congress is perturbed with Amar's recent demands and rants!!!! Starts writing demanding letters when after his rants he pants!!!!! What is Maya's fixation with statues of herself....narcissism is what comes to mind!! Very soon in every nukad a statue of Bhenji you will find!!! Thought she'd got over this childishness!!! Or you can say mindlessness!!! What good will he statues do???? When she's in power her statues will be garlanded and when she's not they'll hang a shoe! J&K's new Governor must go!!! And this will happen though Sarkaar is now saying no!!!!! Seems Vohra's has lost his touch!!! And if you ask me Sarkaar should ask him to go saying 'thank you very much'!!! This strife is just going to give fuel to Pakistan to create more discontent!!! Instructions to do so must have already been sent!!!! Confucius says…. those who play with fire end up getting burnt!!! But seems despite being burned in the past lesson Congress has not learnt!!! Bharat Kumar FORUM Cabinet Secretary not in favour of jumping queue, but ….. Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar is not in favour of jumping the queue. However, it is being observed that even those candidates who are number Two in the selected panel of Public Enterprise Selection Board are politicizing the post and lobbying in the ministry office to jump the panel thereby ignore the number 1 candidate. Is PMO office, CVC , Cabinet secretary and our Media listening? This is a very serious matter?. V B Nagar Not a regressive step Denying all deputations under 6.2.2 for officers to gain external experience and opportunity to honestly earn a good compensation is not a regressive step. The PM himself understands the value of experience in foreign universities and international agencies. The officers should take leave without pay and join such organisations. They should apply as a professional and not leverage their official position. Leave can never be a matter of right; but DoP instructions exist that normally leave should not be denied to officers with less than five years of service left. Same should apply to giving permissions, except where the officer has used his official position to get the job. 'Deputation' to a foreign agency (under 6.2.2 or whatever) is not justified, deputation to a commercial organisation is reprehensible and case by case approval or rejection is even more reprehensible. V. C. Mehrotra This is discrimination If true, it is good that the PM has withdrawn Rule 6.2.2 that benefited only IAS officers who could join the private sector and multinational organizations but officers of the Central Services who got similar offers had to resign from service. It was blatantly discriminatory. Now what about those officers who are already with private or international organizations under Rule 6.2.2- will they be recalled or asked to resign? Kumar Is public money not wasted for paying salaries of PSUs/RBI and other Banks: Government is delaying the implementation of 6th CPC citing many reasons. Do these reasons apply to those politicians who are running the government. Anyway, in what way government employees are inferior to employees of PSUs/RBI/other Banks etc. Still we government employees are involved in the work which is more important than these fellows are doing. The PSUs simply wait for the direction from the government to carry out any project and in the process the employees of the respective Ministry are involved in the planning, monitoring and implementation of the rules. But the government revises the pay of these PSUs/RBI and Other Banks. Particularly, the employees of Banks simply do adding, subtraction and tallying work which does not require any extraordinary talent. But only these fellow are paid more (very much overpaid)/ given timely excellent pay revision with arrears. Here also public money is wasted. Who cares for this. Only the pathetic government employee is targetted always. Rajiv Kulkarni It is Funny Looks like the University of Kolkata conferring Distinguished Economist award of West Bengal on Amartya Sen after he received Nobel Prize in Economics. I am referring to the case of the former Chief Justice of India whose name has been mentioned in the whisper-item. Lord Keshav It,s sheer harassment GoI has empanelled private hospitals for treatment of serving and retired officers. Delhi High court has recently held that the government will reimburse all expenses of treatment to government officers without deducting any thing. Then why should government officers be made to get their prescriptions seconded by government doctors once medicines have been prescribed by these hospitals? Sheer harassment. Ashwini Nothing is going to be changed Actually both parties, the Congress and the BJP, are now evenly poised to gain or losses. But the point is that whatever party comes to power, nothing is going to be changed about the plight of the nation and its citizens because petty politicians are far more corrupt than we think. Helpless Occupant Caring for the planet in Govt.Offices 1. Switch off AC, monitor etc while leaving your room(say during lunch break). 2. Try to use both side of paper(by installing printers which print on both sides). 3. Use as little of plastic as possible. 4. Minimise wastage of water(Don't leave tap open ) 5. Use public transport or share your car with colleagues or staff. 6. Dont sanction expense on useless renovation.
