debate is interesting This debate of the IAS superiority is really intersting.
I am myself an IAS officer and I feel that to large extent what other services
are saying is correct. Yes the IAS should get little more extra but not all. Making
other services 8 to 10 years inferior is really disgusting. I find no reason why
a non IAS officer should not get time scale like us. Just maintain the two year
edge and give them time bound promotions. The IAS has to work in harmony or its
plight will be like nazis - a joint front of all services will throw it out. Justice
must be done to non IAS officers. After all interviews are very subjective in
UPSC. In my first attempt, I got 90 marks but in next they gave me 235/300. In
one year my personality changed dramatically???? Therefore no more injustice.
All other services should get SAG in 16 years flat if IAS gets in 14 years. Neha There
should be love and harmony When the source is the same, there should
be love and harmony among the various Services. Every Service must get fair and
just treatment. Difference in ranking/marks in civil services examination for
IAS and non- IAS is minimal these days and therefore, superiority of IAS in every
Department should avoided. The disparity in Pay scale and deputations should go
for smooth and efficient running of Government machinery. It is really painful
that empanelment and further posting in JS and above posts has become very tough
for Non-IAS. The Non-IAS must get due participation in Government machinery and
that is in overall interest of the country. Y. Mishra. Will
Indian officials react ? Judging by the BBC's reporting of the cricket
controversy in Australia, the Indian team didn't have a case at all, but used
their financial muscle to get their way. Will some of my friends in government
service find a way of using such alleged Indian financial clout to convey a memorable
message to the arrogant and racist BBC? Bear in mind the BBC tailors its news
on their World Service arm to keep the natives and wogs in good humour! Gautam
Sen Why should ladies not go out ? Krishnan, May be,
media is sensationalizing (but if they did not such incidents would increase);
maybe genders are unequal (though some might disagree). But why should ladies
not go out? Do you get to decide this for others? How about others deciding where
you go and what you eat and when you sleep?. Vipul TAIL-PIECE

Ki Aawaz I'm sure in Nithari there was clapping, On Shivpal's slapping!!!
Hope you recall how Shivpal trivialized Nithari killings and showed his true
face!!!! When justice he tried to deface!!! SP hounded BSP workers
and today SP is being hounded!!! In UP SP Leaders have literally been grounded!!!
Of course on Shivpal's slapping SP is going to make a lot of hullabaloo!!!!! And
Maya it'll boo!!! Maya is also being booed by Congress!!! But seeing
Congress's position in UP Maya's not going to be in any duress!!! BJP
is keeping mum at present!!!! Though very soon its position to the people of
UP BJP will present!!! BJP has to realize that UP will play a crucial
role in its quest for Throne of Dilli!!! Not giving due weightage to UP will
be silly!!! In UP every political party worth its salt should go in overdrive!!!! Up
the UP wall each other they should drive!!! At the Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas
meet in Delhi Modi was a winner!!!! Like they say in golf he hit pinner after
pinner!! He also stood up for the Indian Team, And let out on the
Aussies steam!!!! On the other hand Manmohan was emotionless and pan faced!! Whereas
Modi's speech with a lot of emotion was laced!!! Manmohan sounds like
a kid doing a nursery rhyme recitation!!!! His speech delivery badly needs
resuscitation!!! Anyway the way things are going he can afford not to
change!!! Because in 2009 as it is PM will definitely change!!!! Even
if Congress comes back to power Manmohan's chances of becoming PM are slim!! A
powerless PM is indeed something dim and grim!!!! If Congress comes back
to power Sonia/Rahul Baba will be given the credit for the win!!! Manmnohan
will move out of 7 Race Course and Sonia/Rahul Baba will move in!!! Epitaph
of his tenure
the first PM India had who had a Boss!!!! His becoming
PM was victory for Sonia and for PM's image a huge loss!!! In Bihar Laloo
and Paswan have been marginalized and DMK is loosing out to Jaya, Pawar is
now at Balasahib's doorstep beseeching his daya!!!! Congress is facing
huge anti incumbency at the Centre and wherever its in power!!!! Relations
with voters ho gaye hai sour!!! Madam Ji needs to buy a Indian map!!! And
map on it ' Congress and its Allies 2009 seats sap'!!!! Maybe a break
in power will do Madam a lot of good!! And the same goes for her brood!!!
Why doesn't Congress realize its grandiose voter wooing plans are coming to
a naught?? In cricketing parlance every time Congress tries to hit a six at
silly point it's caught!! Coming to cricket
even in Australia
Aussie teams stock is low!!! And Australians want that Ponting from Australian
Captaincy should take a bow!! ICC has demanded that Australian Cricket
Board ask the Aussie team to behave!!! And on the field they should stop to
bully, rant and rave!!! Now whenever an Umpire errs people will say he's
doing a Buckoner act!!! Buckoner has given umpiring a bad name and this is
a fact!!! Dicky Bird has advised Buckoner give his finger permanent rest!!!! And
as we know when it came to Umpiring Dicky was one of the best!!! Have
you heard the reasons people give for Stocks going up!!! And let me assure
you these are just gupp after gupp!!! See the Market breadth and the Nifty
Sensex disconnect!!! All this a prudent Investor should connect!!! And
there will be no announcement before Market falls!!! Yes one has to read the
Market to make the correct calls!!! Amar Singh bann gaya actor
..
but wasn't he one all this while????? Now he'll say in politics apna time karr
raha tha wile!!! Amar Akbar Antony Part 2
. could be Amar's next
flick (movie)!!! And for the role of Amar apne app ko karre ga pick!!!!
This movie will about the political woes of three pals!! And to give glamour
all three pals will have three gals!! In the end the three pals will be
shown forming a alliance to become a power in Bollywood!!!! And a hint will
be given that next step is Hollywood !!! Reliance Power's slogan is Power
on toh India on!!!! And if Stock Markets go off then will Reliance Power's
IPO be put off???? Confucius says
Power Sector is very dicey!!! Reliance
Power while deciding on the price band is being very pricey!!!! Plea......
Vajpayee deserves the Bharat Ratna award, For his decades of service to the
Nation this would be an apt reward!!! He truly is a Bharat Ratna or a
jewel that's priceless, And he deserves nothing less!!! Bharat
