A crow aspiring to be a
Peacock
. From the discussions in the forum time & again, it
is pretty obvious that almost all sectors have a grouse against the powers that
be, manned by persons from the "elite services". It is not that all
want to be in their shoes but I can say everyone expects for a selfless and dignified
governance by them which sadly is lacking. If Srini terms them as peacocks then
he should also realize that they should not imitate the crows. Robina
Laloo We have forgotten the objective of civil services The
bitterness that marks IAS vs Other services debate is a sad reflection of the
fact that we have forgotten the end objective of civil services which is to provide
good governance. Without going through the merits and de-merits of civil service
exam system I wd only say that performance in one exam should not be the only
criteria to bar promotional avenues for rest of the services. I think overall
performance of an officer should determine his carrier progression than merely
a service tag. G Bansal It doesn't matter now i
think this debate of IAS vs the rest is all passé. It is history. Those
who can quit government are quitting the IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS, IRTS and any other
service. Pretty soon, the services will follow the armed forces, where nobody
is willing to join. It does not really matter what the IAS does with whatever
or whoever is left. Vijay I agree with Vinod Pande Palani
has got just narrow view of the things just as most IAS have. Palani doesn't knows
that many officer of higher ranks join services other than IAS by choice as they
don't want to join a service which has nothing concrete to do. Many lady officer
with high ranks prefer IAAS or Revenue. I totally agree with Vonod Pande's view
expressed here. Rakesh Singh Atmapravachana -- for all Group
"A" cadres Do we all Group "A" services have courage
and positive unified approach in demanding the parity in pay, promotions and service
conditions before the government 's executive, legislative and judicial authorities. 1.We
lack confidence 2.We lack unity 3.We lack co-ordination 4.We lack vision
5.We lack passion Our big brother has all this inculcated in their mental
frame. Need of the hour is not to have heartburns but to have unity. Are not we
10000 officers sleeping in self made tents . Awake Dear Freinds Awake.................because
it is social crime to suffer injustice and inequality..... Gopi Krishna Aaj
Ki Aawaz SP is back to what it does best!!! Putting law and order
to the test!!! Once SP was out people felt UP mein jurum hogaa kumm or
less!!! But even out of power SP is trying to put UP in a law and order mess!!!
The red capped qawals are on UP streets doing what they always do!!!! What
a unique way to boo??? Destroy Government property, cause Public pain
and two people have been shot!!!! What a brainless troublesome lot????
SP actually means Scoundrels Party and has the who's who of scoundrels in
SP!!! See the footage and see for yourself how Shivpal tries to manhandle the
SP!!! One of the SP's guard's reacted to his Boss being manhandled!!! And
in the only way he knew the situation he handled!!! How come Amar is quite
or is he too busy pursuing his new career with Jaya Pradha???? Many people
are flummoxed with Amar's new adha!!!! Nitish has got chapter on Laloo
expunged from school textbooks!!! Laloo's life history being taught to kids
is like teaching them how to become crooks!!! Do parents want their kids
to grow up emulating Laloo???? No parent in his or her right mind would want
their kid to be chaloo!!! Anyway now it seems that Laloo's shadow over
Bihar is a thing of the past!!! Out of Bihar for a long term he's been cast!!!
Economists have advised PC not to tinker with income tax!!! Yes excise
duties should be made more lax (soft)!!! And if income tax is reduced
Commies will make a hue and cry!!! They consider tax payers as affluent and
so blocking this they'll try!!! In fact Karat will soon unveil his Budget
demand list!!!! Tax anything capitalist and invest just in welfare and subsidies
is list ka gist!! An Amnesty scheme would indeed be prudent...mop up and
broaden tax payers base!!! No harm in Tax Authorities giving people some grace!!!!
Why doesn't PC identify the poorest of poorest villages and propose an adoption
plan?? Corporates should be asked to adopt a village each and do for the villages
the best they can!!! And give them some credits of some kind!!!! Payback
in kind from Sarkaar for being kind!!! Corporates will do a better job
than fund guzzling NGOs or Sarkaar!!!! Schemes ko nahi padhe gi 'out of every
Rupee only 8 paisa reaches the affected' maar!!! Corporates may award
work to NGOs, But then Corporates will keep a tab where every paisa goes!!!
Tata's unveiled its Rs. 1 lakh car and named it Nano, And it's going to
take the market by storm maano ya na maano!!! Nano after Nano Technology......
in Gujarati (Parsis speak Gujarati) nano means little or small!!!! So you can
take your pick why car ko Nano kiya hai call!!!! Maruti 800 sales will
get hit!!!! Lower end market's wick Tata has lit!!! Entry level segment
competition is going to hot up!!! And sales in this segment are going to shoot
up!!! Americans are not prepared for a coloured President!!! And they
are not prepared for a Female to be White House's primary resident!!!! America
is in recession and this is very clear!!!! Very soon may come to pass every
investor's worst fear!!! For Oil Majors, Drug and Insurance Companies
Bush has been the ideal President!!!!! But American economy he sure did dent!!!
The trillions of Dollars he's spent in Iraq are now taking a toll!!!! Uncle
Sam is as of now on dole!!!! Recession in US could wipe out 2 % of our
GDP directly!!! And affect 3% of our GDP indirectly!!!! On the horizon
a black weekday can be seen!!!! Markets all over the World could turn for investors
very mean!!! A Democrat in the White House will bring in a turnaround!!! And
will turn America around!!! Oil too will stabilize mid next year and will
come down once Bush exits White House!!! His exit karre gi Oil price fire ko
douse!!! Confucius says
. Bush will go down in history as the worst
President US had!!!!! His tenure can be described in one word
.. bad!!!!!
