not fall in the trap of blame game I totally agree with the comments
of Gopi Krishna. All the three organs of the constitution viz executive, judiciary
and legislature are easily managing their welfare. Executives(only IAS as they
are at the helm of affairs unlike Group A officers) are having nice time by virtue
of inheriting the virtues of ICS invented by Britishers. Judiciary is enjoying
as they are deemed as demi gods and untouchables. Legislatures are of course the
law makers who are not supposed to be erring while choosing benefits for themselves.
So the only lot left is Grp A officers who are managing the things at micro level
and giving the IAS to eat the fruit. Lets not fall in the trap of blame game and
not let the Grp A officer look like a crying child. The market forces and the
economics will definitely bring about changes in the existing structure and i
dont say that it will dissolve the disparity but it will dissolve the existence
of entities and issues. No wonder some day we may witness the civil services shrinking
into three categories viz - Indian Management service, Indian Security services
and Indian Finance service. The rules and regulations viz RR, promotions, seniority,
empanelment, pay, perks will be same for all these three jobs. Let there be division
of labour without apartheid, and let our governance become egalitarian. God help the UPSC God help the UPSC if these
two are the only candidates in the fray. Ch KS Sindhu Now
