Why not only three categories!!!
One handling all kind of external affairs for eg: Indian Foreign Service, another with Uniform related, can be named as Indian Uniform Service(IUS) and rest managing the other affairs, can be called Indian Management Service(IMS).The selection can be there at the DS/Director level from among the available & willing pool.

Why not Bharat Ratna to Afzal Guru ?

Jokes about Bharat Ratna apart, the Congress may be seriously considering conferring the honour on its star performer and proud possession, AFZAL GURU. After all what else can be greater proof of the secular credentials of this party born in 1967?

Let everyone perform ?

I would like to know that on which criteria all important posts go to IAS? If it is on basis of merit no comments and if on the basis of lobby it is a bad situation. we must have positions filled up on merit basis only in the 21st century. let everyone has fair chance to perform efficiently. i think all the important positions must have eligibility redefined by some professionals for better and quick decision making.

Kapoor should have done it in 2003

I am surprised that with his credentials, he is quitting the service so late. He should have done it in 2003 itself.

TAIL-PIECE

Petrol in Pakistan Rs17 per litre, Malaysia Rs 18 per litre. In India it's 48 per litre. Why this difference in Asia itself? World Market CRUDE Oil is not the reason for this. It's all Gain for private owners? As we are the general public, or Common Man as RK Laxman would have said, we have to raise our voice. Let's raise through Emails. Forward this to all Indians who care.

And Maya is amongst those joh birthday gifts karte hai demand!!!!
In fact you can say command!!!

Cash and gold are the preferred kinds of gifts!!!!!
And seeing these gifts Maya's spirit lifts!!

So let me wish you Maya a happy birthday!!!!
And I'm sure many would join me in wishing that may in UP you eternally stay!!!

Rest of India does not deserve someone like Maya!!!
Pray that rest of India should never come under your chaaya!!!!

Shouldn't she be taxed for the birthday gifts she receives????
They say by terming these gifts as political donations the tax man she usually deceives!!!

And her coterie must have consoled her ' Madam for this we'll make Amma pay'!!!

People who feel that Modi is unpopular in India 's Down Under should think again!!!
As literally in Guruvayur there was on Modi adulation ki rain!!!!

And Modi's popularity reports that the CID must be giving Karuna should upset him!!!
Modi becoming popular is TN for Karuna is something grim!!!!

Congress has suspended Bhajan…. at long last!!!!!
Question now being asked is out of Congress how long will Bhajan last????

Bhajan is a political chameleon and will change color as when required!!!!
And it's a fact that Congress has not fired him but he's got himself fired!!!

In neighboring Punjab bets are still being placed on Sukhbir taking over from Papa!!!!
Why the hell don't father and son get over with this siyaapa (problem)???

Today Punjab Officials are in tizzy!!!!
Buttering up both father and son throughout the day they are busy!!!

Father okay's something and son says no!!!!
It's akin to Father saying come and son saying go!!!!

Laloo nowadays is in a very sour mood!!!

His sons got bashed up and Nitish has got Chapter on Laloo expunged from text books!!!
In Bihar RJD's stock is low and so very depressed nowadays Laloo looks!!

And then every night he has a recurring nightmare that midterm poll has been announced!
This frightens him no end because he knows in Bihar RJD will be trounced!!!!

Confucius says…… 'You cannot fool all the people all the time' Laloo should know this by now!!!!
