Policing needs top priority

Policing in the country needs top priority so good police officers should not be wasted in non police jobs. Once in a while deputation for non police work is ok but continuously avoiding tough police job should be curbed . An analysis of North East cadre of IPS/IAS/IFS will clearly bring out that large number of officers are managing to remain outside the cadre thus depriving the state of their able serviced . Unfortunately in India you can always circumvent the rules with right connections. This malady needs to be tackled on a war footing to improve the morale of officers.
