Aaj Ki Aawaz
On the 123 Deal first Congress behaved in a selfish and childish manner, And
now PM says that BJP's thrown in the works a spanner!!! Such a Deal should
not have been finalized without first talking to the Opposition!!! On the Deal
first UPA should have made to the Opposition proposition!! After getting an
okay from the Opposition then it should have gone ahead with the Deal, Internal
agreement pehle karna thaa seal!!!! Now Manu or Manmohan is doing what his
High Command does when in a fix!!!! Trying to hit BJP for a six!!! Manmohan
is not naïve and he must have known that Commies will oppose the Deal!!!
He knew that as Deal was with USA very anti the Deal Commies would feel!!! And
despite this he threw the gauntlet only to later quietly to pick it apne aap!!!! So
the gauntlet was just a dhaap (fib)!!!! Basically it's Congress that's mucked
up and created a total mess or muddle!!! Really Congress's approach on the
Deal sure does befuddle!!! Congress wanted to solely take the kudos for this
Deal and so it acted in selfish manner! If you ask me Congress by its attitude
threw in the works itself a spanner!!! And now off and on Manu makes noises
on the Deal, Seems after that less guilty karta hai feel!!! The responsibility
for this Deal not going through is Congress's and Manmohan Singh's!! But responsibility
for Deal's failure at BJP Manu flings!!! In whichever elections he's been
involved Congress has lost!!! For his inexperience , drama baazi and kacha
kaan Congress has paid the cost!! But then when he's Congress's Mai Baap he
can do what he wills, Which post he wants he fills and who he wants to fill
a post that post chosen person fills!!!! Amrinder met Sonia for an hour, And
came out and said things between him and High Command were no longer sour!!! Sonia
should have asked him what happened during the Punjab election, When between
Party and aashqi he made aashqi ka selection!!! Did Sonia ask him his Chief
Ministership ka lekha - jhoka????? Because there are rumours that 'he gave
Party dhoka'!!!!! Quite a few discrepancies in accounts have been found!!!! And
they say Sonia ko kiya gaya tha sound!!! There is no doubt that in Punjab Amrinder
is a force, How long can High Command keep him at bay perforce!! Today
all his pals have ditched him after looking at direction of the hawaa!!!! All
these pals had cooked their rotis on Amrinder's tawaa!!!! Amrinder 'Robin
Hood' 'robbed' the rich and left the common man alone, Not like now when both
rich and poor karr rahe hai moan!!! Laloo celebrated his 61st birthday, And
for celebrations directly and indirectly Indians ne kiya pay!!! He got humongous
bouquets and humongous cakes were cut, When Rabdi tried to feed him cake he
fed the piece to Gupta instead
. what an unkind cut!!! Confucius says
..
Happy Birthday Mr. Laloo, Now that you are in your sixties stop being chaloo!!!!! Adds
..
after sixty a person from the pinnacle starts to descend, From birth to fifties
karta hai towards pinnacle ascend!! Bharat Kumar Aaj_ki_aawaz@yahoo.com

Retirement age ? Retirement Age. If there should not be any salary hike
and the government should only to take action curb corruption in the Central government
office. corruption should be curbed OK. But what will be the fate of sincere and
honest government staff if there is no salary hike? You want that those sincere
and honest officers should be deprived of their basic requirements. Definitely
the present salary is not meeting even the genuine requirements of those honest
officers. Balaji Enhancement of retirement age a welcome step Enhancement
of retirment age is a welcome step. It is strange that for teaching faculty, judge
and more sophisticated disciplines the retirment age is 65 years - but the class
which is struggling most and fighting all odds, including bleak future avenues/promotion
chances, less pay, non-congenial working atmosphere, bearing all blunt of different
govt. failures and unwanted criticism , are treated in a shabby manner. Late marriages
further aggravates problems for them. The argument that it does not pave way for
talent is fungus. Talented and technocrats are more interested in MNCs, private
sector and public undertakings, not in general government service or mediocre
technical jobs, excepting for several top level services, like IAS, etc, which
is not going to be affected due to increase in retirement age. This is representation
the view of general government employee, not of elite class among them, who think
service of 30 to 35 years is enough and old should pave way for young. Rainanil Why
Retirement Age 65? You people (so called public servant always think public
is your servant). Yes increase the retirement age to 65 so that more and more
black money or bribe these public servants can collect. Nobody can get his/her
work done from most of the Government Offices without bribe or oblige with gift
to the concerned dealing public servant. In my view the retirement age must
be 55 years, so that the young and talented person can join the race. Can anybody
tell me how much of the sarkari babus know how to operate the computer? In this
E-governance projects race, when Central Government / State Governments are spend
money like water for these projects, these Governments are only working for the
upliftment of private vendors by purchasing the latest machines & equipments.
Due to the vote bank politics put the future of young generation in dark. For
a bright future change is must. Don't think of your own post/chair, think like
your own son/daughter will also be affected one day. Gurvinder Government
is bankrupt Government coffers are burdened with nearly Rs.3 lakhs crores
(farmers loan waiver, Oil subsidies, interest payments).Savings on account of
austerity measures are peanuts. Rajeeva IRS austerity What
difference does it make? Only that department save on rental charges. The food
menu is still served by ITDC unit at Vigyan Bhawan at the rates similar to that
of Ashok. MS Foreign travel and exchequer "Foreign
travel costs less than 1 per cent" One percent of budget seems to be nothing
to some one. One percent budget when meant for One percent population tends to
serve more than one crore people. One crore population may also meant nothing
to someone, that means. Alklin Foreign travel by Babus Even
if foreign travel constitutes less than 1 percent of the budget of the Finance
Ministry, is this any justification for being perpetually seated abroad? A dossier
should be got prepared on all officers of joint secretary rank and above, on travel
undertaken abroad by them, in the last five years, whether for official discussions,
training purpose, attending conferences, visits as Consultants( as many of these
bureaucrats are ) on UN Bodies etc. It would certainly be an eye- opener ! The
Gains from such foreign jaunts are best known to the officers themselves ! If
these officers attending to High Priority govt work in India ,are abroad ,almost
every month, and occasionally ,for days at a stretch, WHO attends to their High
Priority work back in India ? If they are so dispensable, are they really needed
in the first place ???!! S Singh Enough is enough The readers
are fed up with the internecine battle of words between the two factions: CSS
and the CSSS .This does not serve any purpose. It only creates bad blood. I am
sure that is not the objective of this website. May I request Dr Mehrotra to put
a full stop to it. Instead, it will be more appropriate to focus on more serious
issues of general importance like the disparity between the elite service and
the rest. These are areas of concern which have been crying for attention for
decades!. A K Saxena CSS ,CSCS and CSSS I read your comments
that CSCS (LDC/UDCs) are not policy makers and have placed the CSSS on the better
side. It is very unfortunate that now all LDCs/UDCs are graduate and 70% of them
are doing table work. In the earlier days an LDC/UDC used to work only in diary
and dispatch but Now a days they are given table work, and they do their job with
responsibility and good manner. The government must take care for their future
and merge CSSS to CSS. Prabhakar Mishra Penny wise,Pound foolish
! If foreign travel constitutes less than 1 percent of the Finance Ministry
budget, is it any justification for these high fliers to be perpetually seated
abroad ? There should be a dossier prepared on the number of visits undertaken
abroad ,whether for official work, training purpose or as consultants empanelled
with UN Bodies ( as quite a few of these bureaucrats are ) on each officer ,for
the last five years. It would certainly be an eye opener. Further, the Gains
from such trips ,made on official account, are best known to the officers themselves! S
