IFS officers a jubilant lot in MP (UPDATED)
Officers belonging to the Madhya Pradesh cadre of Indian Forest Service(IFS) are a jubilant lot as their cadre strength has gone up from 164 IFS officers to 180 officers.This unprecedented hike is being attributed to positive attitude of the Central Government coupled with efforts by MP IFS Officers association.As per the cadre review number posts of PCCF will be now three,Addl PCCF's posts will be 20,CCF's posts will be 68,CF's posts will be 25 and DCF's posts will be 64.

Steel Minister lays foundation stone for SAIL's 4th spu (UPDATED)
Indian Minister for Chemicals & Fertilisers and Steel Ram Vilas Paswan on June 13,2008 laid the foundation stone for the fourth Steel Processing Unit (SPU) of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) at Bandaka Industrial Area in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, MP and former Union Minister Dr. Satya Narayan Jatiya, members of the Vidhan Sabha, SAIL Chairman S.K. Roongta and Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) Managing Director R. Ramaraju were also present on the occasion. This will be SAIL's second SPU in Madhya Pradesh. Mr Paswan had laid the foundation stone for an SPU which will produce angles, channels, beams/joists and TMT bars, being set up with an investment of around Rs. 154 crore, in Hoshangabad district yesterday. SAIL has planned to set up a third SPU in Madhya Pradesh at Gwalior as well, the foundation stone for which is likely to be laid in the first week of August 2008. The three units being set up in Madhya Pradesh will also contribute to the development of the region by generating employment and catalysing rural-based ancillary industries. Shivraj Singh Chouhan thanked Paswan for SAIL's decision to set up three SPUs in his state.

There should be total ban on foreign travel
There should be a total ban on foreign travel by babus in GOI and then you will see a sharp drop in central deputations, as a GOI posting is equal to a posting in SITA travel agency. If babus want to travel at government expense then let them travel to the rural hinterland and to tribal areas especially in the North-East. Such places are as foreign to babus as London and Paris and they can then boast of having been almost abroad. Another thing ,New Delhi babus rarely go to black countries as the people there are darker than the shudras. It has to be only white countries and long official meetings are held there with white females on malaria eradication and poverty eradication back home. This shows intellectual and moral poverty far below the poverty line! Even worse is that they go abroad only to bring their swiss bank pass books upto date. This way they make sure they remain above the poverty line.

I think India is still Gulam (slave), only kings have changed; Now we are Gulam of Ministers & Bureaucrats. Praja (Aam Adami) is still crying. Best example is episode of Nandi Gram where poor farmers are being crushed in the name of development.
I think there should not be any bureaucrat but the people should be selected locally for the development of their region.
It is not the education which brings wisdom. You can find many people in villages having better wisdom without any education and they are working for poor and downtrodden.
Indian values and ethics mentioned in Puranas gives the real picture what India was and how to manage young generation to the right path.
Let us check value of IAS.
How many times we have read that a poor person after becoming an IAS and marries to a poor girl. There is hardly any example to depict. They are getting married to ministers/IAS/IPS daughters.
