June Coalition to cause jolts galore to UPA
The UPA coalition,as is well know,is moving ahead in severe and eminently predictable jolts.The coalition of stars and planets emerging in the firmament signals that the UPA may pass through still greater jolts in June.The unhappy Saturn and Rahu relationship ,the combust Mercury and the debilitated Mars in Cancer all indicatemorbid political drams,both at the center and several states.Violence ,including the terrorists sponsored variety ,may resurface again.So are the possibilities of natural calamities of the dimension that hit China and Burma recently.In short,bad timeswithin and outside India.The only saving grace is a well-placed Jupiter.A voice of sanity and calm.But how long can Guru contain the malefic contents of the coalition of stars and also that of the UPA from taking to a doomed path ?.Events in June may provide the answers.

J & K -unfortunate development
Very Unforunate development indeed and a clear reflection of the falling standards of the civil services and blurring of the line beteween permanent civil services and political parties.The Constituion expects the Civil Services to be neutral.
If retired civil servants are debarred from joining private sector companies then by the same logic they should be debarred from joining any political party for atleast three years and holding any office in the party and government for five years from the date of retirement. Alas it would be too much to expect any such norms from political parties who do not hesitate to give party tickets for election to former constitunial position holders like chief election commissioner, Supreme court Judges and also induct them into the Council of Ministers.

I spport Mr. Abhinav Kumar's open expression of views regarding Pay Commission's report. Why should others be intolerant to other's views? After all it is a democratic counrty and every citizen enjoys the right to freedom for expression as a fundamental rightto do so. Certain bureaucrats who think governemnt as their 'zamidari' oftem resort to such oppressive measures against junior officers taking advantage of their position in the system.
