Aaj Ki Aawaz Karuna
celebrated his birthday, 'Don't celebrate my birthday' didn't he say? As
a birthday gift he wanted the Setu Project to be completed, Said as a birthday
present with this news he wanted to be greeted!!! Why didn't they present him
with Setu Project model???? So that this model Karuna could coddle!!! Down
South Idli prices in eateries were reduced for his birthday!!!! Public demand

his birthday every day ????? If he's prepared the Public will be more than
happy to wish him everyday!!! Only requirement will be then for the reduction
DMK Sarkaar will have to pay!!!! They say Congress is talking to US for a time
extension on the 123 Deal, Reason
indisposed the Indian Government
karr rhai hai feel!!! And by the looks of it this Government will be indisposed
on the Deal for rest of its time! Commies have got this Government on the Deal
literally 'marking time'!!!! BJP's offered a helping hand provided India 's
right to test remains, USA will take this as fiddling with the Deal's mains
(circuit)!!!! As Country after Country goes Nuclear, Our Nuclear future
is unclear!!! RSP's step could be the end of the Commie Alliance, Karat
met Bardhan to discuss RSP's defiance!! In the past four years its well known
that CPI(M) and CPI have had all the fun or mazaa, Whereas the understanding
was Commie Alliance would work on common razaa (agreement)!!! Just see the
gadgets that Karat and Yechury use, Of these two falling prey to capitalism
karte hai rest of the Commies accuse!!! Karat goes overseas for his holidays!!!!! And
in the best Hotels he stays!!! CPI(M) and CPI have undergone a perestroika
and follow a new Communism, And this new Communism believes in out and out
opportunism!!!! But rest assured once BJP comes to power Karat will be forced
to go frugal, Because BJP will bajao 'Communists don't matter' bugle !!!! Why
doesn't the Government ration its fuel usage and pay market rate for over usage??? Maybe
the wastage by Government by this step ho sakthi hai cage!!! Anticipating a
fuel hike all round price rise is taking place!!!! A real inflation rate of
15 % karr raha hai Aam Aadmi face!!! Fuel hike will make the real inflation
will go up by 2-3% and Indians will hurt, At the inflation spurt!!! And
please why is the Government working on the premise of $ 200 by year end??? My
feeling is that very soon this oil price spurt will end!!!! The oil bubble
will pop, And then prices will fall and at $ 83- 90 levels will stop!!!! They
say Sonia was confident of a Karnataka win!!!! Seems on IBN's survey her hopes
she did pin!!! This should show you how far she's from ground zero!!! And
now Indians should know they've got a Lady Nero!!! As Indians get burned by
inflation Sonia de Nero strums her political harp!!!! Indians karr rahe hai
carp!!! Manmohan is going to speak to the Nation to justify the hike!!! And
will pledge for the rest of his term he will ride pillion on a BMW mobike!!! He's
habituated to using Sonia's name so hope he starts by giving her the credit for
the hike!!!! Immediately after the speech he'll be ordered to take from PM
Office a hike!!! Sonia to gain brownie points will say she'll cycle wherever
she has to go!!!!! Later on it'll be announced that NSG to PM's and Sonia's
proposals has said 'no'! In the Media they'll show the bike and cycle both
were to ride, But then sadly by security demands they had to abide!!! Rahul
may decide to go about in a palanquin carried by volunteers of Youth Congress!!!!
In drivers uniforms the carriers will dress!!!! So as you suffer get ready
for drama baazi from Sonia de Nero and her gang!!!! Come elections and Public
will make Congress hang!!! Confucius says
..height of inefficiency of
a Government is not being to handle Public's woes!!! And in handling Public's
woes UPA has hit new lows!!! Flash.... Sarkaar has opted for the more painful
option....more painful for us, Indians karr rahe hai is Sarkaar ko cuss!!! Deora
bajaoed his Murli post the hike and said hike was not steep, This should give
you into the mindset of MOPNG a peep!!!! Commies have been taken aboard on
this hike, And Commies will do what they do best 'take to the roads with a
mike'!!!! Ultimately the price rise blame buck stops at Sonia's table, Now
pucca Sonia ho gayi hai Sonia de Nero label. Bharat Kumar Aaj_ki_aawaz@yahoo.com

Increase of Retirement age - 'NO' If the whispers on this portal are
to be believed, the file regarding increase in retirement age is pending with
PM. May God give our PM the wisdom (for which he is known) to act according to
his super ability - and not to get pressurized by his 'supporters' and self-centered
bureaucrats. On the one hand Government is making all efforts to cut down wasteful
expenditure in Government departments and cutting down posts at lower level and
then such proposals attract peoples' popularity on the other. Is there somebody
who has the answer as to where the younger generation will go? If the government
servants at 60 feel that they still can work then why don't they seek employments
somewhere else and vacate the posts for others. There are enough opportunities
for capable officers to branch out to MNCs or elsewhere at any time. Then why
these officers want to stick to government offices. Their apprehension is understandable
- if they go to some MNCs they have to show their efficiency/productions to their
employers unlike in government offices where they are accountable to none. Most
of our officers misfit in other organizations for obvious reasons. Hon'ble CPC
has categorically stated that the age of retirement may be maintained at the present
level. In fact, the retirement age may be reduced to 58 so that young blood comes
in the government sector to improve the 'tarnished image' of bureaucracy in India.
PM should be bold enough to say 'NO' to increase in retirement age. Kaushal About
retirement age The 6th Pay Commission has made it clear with justification
that increasing the date of retirement to 62 is not a healthy sign. If they wish
to increase then the Government should instead of raising the retirement age,
it should make it as till death, so that the Government need not to given pensionary
benefit to any. Dr S K Sharma What is this retirement age ? What
is this Retirement Age. Earlier 58 itself was correct. A blunder was committed
by making it 60 as it has reaped "0"percent result; only because employees
beyond 50 years and that too in stenography line are not able to stay late or
take dictation from very senior officers for which these posts of Sr.PPS/PPS was
created. Ultimately the lower staff who have been rubbed for more that 20 years
in the same grade is again exposed and exploited without any renumeration. These
officers do not realise this and they pretend as if they are not aware of this.
At present, the UDCs/Assistants/PAs/Steno'D" are already suffering because
of stagnation. With the introduction of Non-Functional Scale; though the SOs and
PS were benefitted; we the UDCs/Assistants; PAs and Steno'D" have been left
high and dry and exposed only for doing the work and staying late in office. Therefore;
in the interest of the employees; at least to prevent further exploitation; this
retirement age should not be increased. By doing so; the government will be only
paying more salary to these persons for another two years and apart from this
they will also get increased pension and other benefits free of cost and that
too at the expense of juniors. It would be better if the higher officials use
their brains on this issue rather than simply talking in favour of this. Malhotra Why
favour to raise retirement age ? Why there is so much favour for increasing
age of retirement. If these old employees are so much efficient and knowledgeable,
they shall definitely get some other jobs why to put break on employment opportunity
of young and efficient . These young persons shall be cheaper also since they
shall be inducted at entry level whereas all these persons at age of 60 are drawing
huge salary with minimum level of efficiency. Rajesh
CBDT
orders This is with reference to Raghurane's comments on CBDT orders. Utopia
may be the proper word to describe his optimism. Transparency and CBDT are antithetical
to each other. Orders may be transparent in arbitrariness and favoritism which
will be evident per se . Transfer policy has always been observed in violation
only and in bureaucratic system no one dares to divert from the laid down path.
Why the present (mis/dis)placement committee will be different, after all they
have been waiting for long for this opportunity to come. Will they allow it to
go waste just for the sake of sheer optimism shown by Raguranee and his likes.
Why orders have not come till now, it is not very difficult to understand. The
simple reason is affording adequate opportunity to everybody so that one does
not complain later on. CBDT has already circulated officially the manner in which
it is to be approached for seeking transfer that is not through meeting in the
office. The message was loud and clear ,meeting in office with a mere representation
in hand is waste of time for both. Approach in the leisure of home, club, golf
course etc. etc... After transfer orders are issued, you will say Sir, "Sahi
kah Raha tha" Snehil Verma About CSS SK Kalememe's
baseless comaprison with regard to comaprison of career prospects needing equitable
proprtion with CSS is loughable. The nature of job assigned to CSSS vis- a- vis
CSS is totally different in terms of element, quality& workload & in its
essence. CSS has the basic work to carry out like examination of cases on varying
matters almost every allocation of business in Government of India at the primary
stage to middle rung level with great deal of application of mind, formulation
of plan projects on plan to basis, complete knowledge of financial & budgetary
matters, implementation of each guidelines, its monitoring and appraisal and all
sorts of parliamentary matter work. On the other hand, CSSS has merely to discharge
duties of stenography/dictation & taking care the personal matters of his/her
boss in order to facilitate smooth discharge of his duties, which don't require
great deal of application of mind except bit of promptness and sincerity. It is
sad affair that DOPT & concerned Department has not appreciated the contributions
rendered by the CSS till now. As the General needs proper nurturing of front level
soldiers to safe guard the territory effectively so is CSS needs a proper career
prospects more than any other cadre who are posted in the central secretariat.
It seems that intention of DOPT that right mix of officers managed through central
staffing scheme up to Joint secretary level has not rendered any visible difference
in speedy delivery of service & quality output. However, this has caused demoralisation
of CSS cadre. Since has the inherent flair of discharge the duties in consonance
with proper manual procedure and as per existing parameters, the chances of any
deviation and disregard of rules has rare possibility. Given the proper career
prospects and time to time quality training CSS can be an icon of responsive administrative
establishment in the central secretariat. A CSS Well wisher Do
not publish such comments He may please be informed that Reservations were
introduced in the 90s and the officer he has referred to was recruited much earlier,
in the so-called 'merit-alone' period. His praise for the police dogs is welcome.
He may also understand the fact that India has developed more after 1990s (after
introduction of reservations in India, than it did before (when the higher castes
were ruling the roost). Privatisation was possible only because we had many first-generation
bureaucrats, thanks to the reservations. Moreover, Merit in CSE is a myth. A person
who secures very high rank to get even IAS/IPS fails in the Prelims next year.
Does it mean that he has lost his merit. Similarly, many people get their services
in second or third attempt. Does it mean that they were unfit earlier and suddenly
have attained Merit? It all depends to a great extent on the facilities available,
as well. Those in Delhi get access to many Private Coaching Centers and this is
not the case in Patna. So, a person who gets say, 200th rank, studying from Patna
is definitely superior in my view to the son of a Civil Servant in Delhi who attends
coaching centers and spends thousands of rupees to get 150th rank. So, let us
not get carried away by the myth of merit. It would be proper on the part of the
website to avoid publishing such comments, where someone writes with no application
of mind, just because he has access to internet and your site. J K Yadav I
agree with Saxena I fully agree with the views of Saxena with reference
to the remarks made by Chauhan. I think that Chauhan has never focused his concentration
towards the officers and staff members working in the Govt. Offices beyond office
hours and most likely up to at least 8 PM, attending offices on closed days also.
About 10-20% officers/staff in the Government work for about 10 Hrs/day. Shyam Gujjar
agitation The agitation by Gujjar community of Rajasthan seeking ST status
has sharply highlighted duplicity of political class. For purposes of getting
votes and coming to power they will promise anything and everything. Once in power
political class will not hesitate to open firepower to kill and maim those demanding
what was promised to them. Making promises without any intention of delivering
on them is most cruel joke that can be played on the people of India especially
at a time when job opportunities are rapidly shrinking except for secretary rank
post retirement jobs. Asking for increase in retirement age when poor young people
are getting killed not for getting jobs but simply for getting ST status to marginally
improve their chances of finding govt. jobs. No one seems to be bothered about
overhauling the education system which churns out highly qualified and skilled
job seekers with almost nil entrepreneurial skills. How is it that majority of
IITians and MBAs want highly paid jobs preferably with MNCs but very few want
to set up their own enterprise which will create atleast few jobs.( Of course
inspector raj is so powerful that demands of bribe will drive many young entrepreneurs
away into seeking government jobs. Surprisingly, how come there was hardly
any post on Gujjars agitation which has claimed 42 lives or even more during last
few days but many posts on pay raise , increase in retirement age etc.. Is it
because of notice served on Abhinav Kumar that no one wants to take any risk by
sharing his views. Who knows who will get annoyed when and hit out by invoking
conduct rules . After all getting a government job was never easy even if one
was an IAS or a clerk and or belonged to a privileged class or reserved category.
