Ashok Kumar Misra, SG/IRSME/ Northern Railway, has been transferred to Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) and promoted to officiate in SA Grade and posted in the cadre.

DOPT violates order
The staff in economic ministries have never been transferred. Others are languishing for past 25-30 years. The nature of work of such staff is same. How they are languishing, what they intend to get in economic ministry, which is monopolised by their counterparts. Let us understand, we are Babus and whereever we go, work remains same, why to bother that we are in service industry. If we are doing our work honestly, how does it matter. Rather in service ministries, promotions on ex cadre posts or on adhoc basis were fast and such staff have riped the fruits.

Govt is looking for two Dalit Secretaries - what for ?
They did not confirm the services of L D Mandloi as DG, Doordarshan ( A Dalit ) despite Delhi High Court ruling and Ms. Noreen Naqwi as DG-AIR ( a Minority )....all other things including Rahul Gandhi eating with Dalits is all humbug. This PM lacks vision and commitment.

Why there is corruption in IRS or any service ?
1.Political masters ensure that corrupt officers get rewarded by good posting (so that they get their share and their scams don't get exposed)
2.Efficient and honest officers are penalised with bad ACR, hardship and insignificant posting
3.Poor facility and pay of officers-poor medical facility, bad housing by CPWD etc.
4.No link between performance and promotion, pay.

Margaret Alva has done no wrong!
Poor Margaret, one time close aide of Ms Sonia Gandhi, has merely followed the age old practice of Congress party by seeking ticket for her son. Examples are galore. Pt. Nehru groomed Mrs Indira Gandhi who turned out to be autocratic but at the same time, one of the greatest leaders and statesman , the country has ever produced. This was followed by scions like Rajiv Ratan Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi and last but not the least, Rahul Gandhi. Priyanka Gandhi's induction may be around the corner. Then we have mini dynasties like: Abdullas of J&K, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Shuklas of MP, Chauthalas of Haryana, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Madam Mayawati, Scindias Deoras, Jindals, Pilots, Sheela Dikshit and her (MP) son, Badals, Karunanidhis etc. So, what was wrong with the great, Margaret ! Miffed by the Congress leadership, she merely and formally revealed the fact of corruption, groupism and nepotism in the congress party, which was already known to the world. Margaret has already enjoyed enough power and has herself been a part of the corrupt system for decades --Thanks to her in-laws. She should set a pre It is hightime that she bids a good bye to politics and takes to social service in the true christian spirit! Amen!
