Aaj Ki Aawaz
Just see how they try to deflect criticism for being soft on terror!!!!
NSA says that Delhi was saved by a whisker or…….!!!!
'Threats were thwarted in the past 48 hours' NSA says!!!!
Maybe a way to ensure that as HM Shivraj stays!!
Most will agree with me when I say NSA is pulling a fast one on us!!!!
As record shows NSA time and again has been missing the intelligence bus!!!
This is one of the oldest tricks to deflect criticism and come out looking good!!!!
And this is exactly what they are doing needs to be understood!!!
NSA is being devious,
And this is pretty obvious!!!!
Seems Shivraj thought the bombing sites were a fashion show ramp!!!!
Though now he fibs he had to change clothes because it was very damp!!
Mr. Presentable or Shivraj says he remains cool!!!
And to do so is frequent change of attire a tool????
He says he's in the Cabinet on Sonia's pleasure!!!!
And I'm sure at PM's displeasure!!!
But PM or Mohna has to accept him!!!!
Because he accepts Sonia's every whim!!!
And Sonia takes Shivraj to be a faithful spoon!!!!
If she says at midnight it is noon he will call midnight noon!!!
Why doesn't she rid us of him and gives him a Party job?????
Make him the Party Spokesman ….. well dressed gob!!!!
Congress's present Spokesmen are a pathetic lot!!!!
No one convincing Congress has got!!!
The moment Singhvi opens his mouth people feel he's lying!!!
And Natranjan just resorts to tut-tuting and sighing!!!
Kapil's 'lawyer kind of defense' no one is buying!!!
And Tiwari's arguments are mind defying !!!!
At least Shivraj will bring glamour to the briefings !!!!
For Shivraj could be start of a new innings!!!!
Amar is back to abusing Congress!!!!!
If you ask me for some time karr raha tha abusing suppress!!!
He was following ' gadhe ko baap boolana padhta hai' adage!!!!
Now verbal war again Congress pe karr raha hai wage!!!
He's calling Diggy names!!!!
He says an SP MP is quiting SP and for this Diggy he blames!!!
SP wants and all India alliance with Congress but Congress says no!!!!
Out of UP alliance with SP Congressis feel should not go!!!
And now Amar cannot even threaten to withdraw support!!!
Congress is ready for elections as per an inside report!!
Seems Mulayam and gang are back to square one!!!!
And this war Congress has won!!!!
And for all you know Congress would have aided SP in UP and SP would have gone UNPA way!!!!
SP has not closed doors on UNPA many say!!!!
That is because in UNPA Mulayam would call the shots and could even take the top job!!
In UPA he'll e part of the mob!!!
In good ole USA Companies going belly up and being given billions of dollars life lines!!
Impending financial doom ke signs!!!!
Today US is like a leaking ghada!!!
That does not have thadaa (bottom)!!!
After AIG's bailout other Companies are asking for the similar packages too!!!!
Bailout after these Companies have flushed money down the loo!!
Confucius says…… How does the richest Country service its deficit that's huge?????
It prints more and more money for a Dollar deluge!!!!
Flash....... Shivraj ji you don't change clothes after 14 hours.. you do so every 3 hours!!!!
And yes you do not drink, gamble or visit dance bars!!!
But your vanity occupies a lot of time space!!!!!
And that is why criticism karr rahe ho tumm face!!!!
You are fixated with vanity in full hosh (awake and aware)!!!!
So in your vanity you are behosh!!!

'Signature is significant' also interesting
Y Mishra's comments regarding 'Signature is significant' on your column on 16.9.08 are interesting. I think, it is more interesting to read and significant for a common rural person and not for a person who is working in a Government office. He is correct to say that G Sinha's observations are "not fully correct in respect of all categories- A, B and C". I would like to add that Y Mishra is also not fully correct when he said that....lower officials simply put up the case and conclude the noting as- " If approved, we may take action....." (OR) simply write- " Submitted for orders pl." I have quite long experience of working in Central Secretariat and can say with certainty that even when a lower officer submits a file for an order, the order never come forth. Instead files come back with comments either "pl. speak" or "your comments please" etc. That is why perhaps Y Mishra has stated that "decision making is not simple signing, it is quite significant and includes courage, authority and accountability". And Y Mishra will explain how many of so called Group A officers have these high sounding characters of "courage, authority and responsibility". In every day life we see that when a train accident occurs, a lineman or train driver is made scapegoat, when a crime takes place a humble constable is suspended and in Secretariat if something goes wrong, a clerk is found out to be the culprit. That is why perhaps Y Mishra is of view that signature is significant and it needs courage, authority and responsibility to simply sign. Because the Group A officers who needs to take decision knows that the person who puts up a file can easily be made scapegoat and a Group A officer knows how to do that because he is courageous, has authority and a sense of great responsibility.

Govt should undo injustice done with the UDCs of CSCS Cadre
In agreement with the comments posted by Prabhaker Mishra, I also wish to join his hands and urge the government to have a sight on the disparity/injustice done by the pay commission with the UDCs of the CSCS Cadre. In the report, the wide gap between grade pay of UDCs (2400) and Assistants (4200) is quite disheartening. In the Central Secretariat Office Manual there is not much difference between the work profile of these two while on the salary front the difference is quite visible. In the Secretariat UDCs are handling equivalent work with Assistants. I would like to add here that in the ongoing process of cadre restructuring by DoP&T the cadre of UDCs should be merged with Assistants on the basis of their work profile or should be given proper promotion channel via departmental examination/time-bound promotion. The stagnation in the UDC cadre is very much frustrating for the meritorious candidates. Most of the UDCs are graduates and after entering this cadre they become helpless/frustrated on the front of their promotion. The cadre restructuring committee of CSS should take it seriously and provide a chance for atleast graduate candidates to get rid of this stagnation. I would be very much thankful to your site if my voice will reach to the concerned authorities.

Better late then never !
The decision of the government to give two years leave to meet the needs of children is welcome as it will enable them to bring up happy, healthy children & avoid undue stress of juggling & undue feeling of guilt as a mother. It will encourage more ladies to join & serve the government. There is no question of increased workload on male colleagues as there are enough of us to work. The house wives concern to have husband back early [to attend dinners & partys ?] is uncalled for ....time they thought of the lady officers balancing act & work load !
