What
Bureaucrats think about the formation of next government at the centre?
The general elections are round the corner and the bureaucrats have
started making their own assessments as to who would rule the country
in the days to come. Whether it will be the Congress, the BJP or the
respective fronts - UPA and NDA - lead by these parties. Will it be
a third Front that will govern the country? We tried to elicit the views
of bureaucrats across the country. They feel

Amar sings praises of Sonia and for PM he says Mohna is SP's choice!!!!
But then he damns Congress in the same voice!!!
Rather than Congress Amar should have a problem with the Constitution
which bars Dutt!!!
Constitution is very clear on criminals and elections and there is no
if or but!!!
Sidhu's case is totally different
. like comparing a pea shooter
with a gun!!!
And so what if Sanjay Dutt is Nargis's and Sunil Dutt's son????
And please do be careful if you call anyone from the SP gang on their
Cell!!!!
If required they'll lie
..'he threatened me on the Cell' they'll
tell!!!
Just because some Minister called Dutt on his Cell does not mean he
threatened Dutt!!!!!
Call Dutt on his Cell at your peril as he'll land you in a rut!!!
On Time's Now the Anchor tried his best to rile Modi but Modi put him
in his place,
And he did so with facts and grace!!!
Media is used to 'Modi bashing'!!!
And Media tends to give Modi a tongue lashing!!
Before bashing him they need to go to Gujarat State!!!
And see for themselves the work of the one they hate!!!
Sukhbir Badal is a street fighter par excellence!!!
But when it comes to Vision for Punjab he's pretty dense!!!
Hence he may good at winning elections in a State which does not return
a Sarkaar to The Chair!
But beyond this you can say he's abs bare!!!
Rahul Gandhi has still not got the iconic status!!!
He could have got it during UPA's stint in power but he missed the bus!!
Like when you hear Modi speak and Rahul speak you realize the huge gap
between dono!!!
Modi has iconic status but when it comes to Rahul you feel 'no no'!!
Modi's speeches have emotion, forcefulness and conviction!!!!
These three come out very clearly in his diction!!!
You see the difference between a grass root Leader and one who has parachuted
to the top!!!
That is why many say this 'parachuting to the top' needs to stop!!!!
Rahul Baba has to formulate his Vision for the Nation and then work
on it!!!
And he needs to show grit!!!
What I find is that Rahul Baba lacks forcefulness!!!
And obstinacy
.. which in him I find is very less!!
Pranab Da says Sonia was more at ease with Mohna as PM than him!!!!
And he knows the reason for Sonia's whim!!!!!
He being a political activist and Mohna an intellectual is just a sham!!!
Sonia knows ' don't let a fly be in-charge of your jam '!!!!
It would be like putting a wolf in-charge of your hen pen!!!!
And very soon you would not even have one hen!!!
Pranab Da has shown he is very ambitious!!!
And because of this Sonia very rightly being very cautious!!!
While the World has moved on Indian Commies still live on 'Cold War'
mindset!!!
And that is why when it comes to USA very paranoid they tend to get!!!
The World has moved on but Commies are stuck in ice!!!!
And for their being stuck during UPA's five year stint India paid the
price!!
Confucius says
. If you want to curse a Nation curse it that in
it Communism raises its ugly head!!
Why do you think when a Nation goes broke they say 'Nation is in the
red'!!!!

Better name it 'Chiranjeevee Commission'
Looking at the no of times the extension has been given to this Commission,
it would be better to rename this Commission as 'Chiranjeevee Commission.
For the information of all of us who are Honest Tax Payers let us be
only informed about the total cost-Direct and indirect, till date incurred,
present age of justice L, AND when will the Guninesses World record
of extensions be broken, if not already broken!.It is surprising that
our representatives in the Parliament never asked any question on this
issue!.

What a dichotomous behaviour?
BJP is going to town with a high pitch campaign for bringing back the
black money parked in Swiss bank accounts and at the same time they
inducted some individuals in the party who in all probability may have
an account in the Swiss bank. Why should Advani not start from his own
party members account? What a dichotomous behaviour? This is what is
the face of Indian politics today. They preach something and practice
just the opposite.

Claiming false praise
In any case Sudhir Kumar Jain is not at all responsible for the turnaround
of the Railways. There is gestation period for evincing response to
an action taken. It is a coincidence that he and Laluji Prasad joined
the Railways when the fruits started reaping in. Morever, majority of
the activities of Railways are technical in nature. How can a generalist
IAS officer be responsible for the turnaround of Railways. Railways
have their own separate budget, works department and police force. They
were never under the control of the IAS and will never be.

Laziness of the CBDT is palpable
This is in response to CBDT Chairman wins accolades for promoting Arun
Kumar. While this action is commendable, why cannot be the same yardstick
of efficiency be applied for ensuring the empanelment of 500 officers
to the level of Joint Secretary ? The laziness of the CBDT is palpable.

Stop step-mother behaviour with CPSU employees
May yours words needs thousand praise, We hope so, Central government
should stop step-mother behaviour with CPSU employees and provide the
autonomy regarding the pay fixation to their respective company boards
as per there paying capacity. Bureaucrats and ministers should stop
treating CPSUs as their private property.

Voting by Government Employees
While most Government employees look forward to enjoying holiday on
the day of polling to the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies, a considerable
number of employees do not fulfill their fundamental duty of casting
their vote. It would be appropriate if the Election Commission / DoPT
makes it mandatory that all employees and pensioners participate in
the democratic process to make it more meaningful.
