On the Cash for Votes sting Rajdeep Sardesai bollo!!!
Aur pardah khollo!!!
I feel Amar Singh was a double agent!!
And he can do this because he's not a gent!!
There is every chance he stratagized with the Hare,
And then to the Hounds the strategy kee Amar ne bare!!
And to what level can Amar stoop?????
Well if he can gain then he can put his hand even into poop!!
Now Amar says Jaitley is coming to meet him in Singapore !!!
BJP's hit the floor and now seems will go under the floor!!
Amar has taken an anti Congress line and he must have sent BJP feelers!!!
And so BJP has dispatched one if its deal sealers!!
Or maybe Amar has told Jaitley he can help him out!!!!
In making peace with anti Jaitley lobby in BJP Amar could have offered
to be the tout!
But it has to do something with the Party or Amar would have kept things
hush hush!!
And then quietly for a holiday to Singapore Jaitley would rush!!
Or maybe Amar is offering his 'tout' talents to broker in BJP peace!!!!
May have offered that after his brokering all bickering will cease!!!
100% SP gave UPA support to get Mulayam of the hook!!!!!
And it worked nahi toh abh takk Mulayam ho jaatha DA case mein book!!
And then there were requests to favor Anil ..... and one or two for
Bachchan too!!
The requests came like orders.... every request letter was captioned
'to do'!!
Seems Advani has pleaded with Bhagwat 'let me go on my own'!!!!
'Let me redeem some stature' .... stature that Advani himself has blown!!
Rajnath on the other had has been allowed to complete his term!!!
Whereas it was being felt that on the ouster of both RSS would be firm!!
And what's this new slogan..... BJP will emerge stronger!!!
If you ask me BJP will emerge from this with faces of BJP leaders even
longer!!!!
BJP does not have anyone like Vajpayee ..... he made the Party bond!!!
Vajpayee ke liye all were very fond!!!
Today in BJP distrust rules....... outcome of Advani's walls!!!
With Vajpayee they were united and BJP rose and today divided by Advani
BJP falls!
Maybe Vajpayee's temr will be pinnacle in BJP's history!!
Because the way BJP is going very soon it could be history!!
Then there will be BJP (A), BJP(R) and even BJP (J).... tukde tukde
or pieces!!!
Only recovery is after Advani and Rajnath go and the bickering ceases!!
Advani is hoping against hopes that in Maharshtra BJP will come to power!!!
And then Advani's lobby will go to town shouting ' BJP ne firr se kiya
hai flower'!!!
They'll sing .....Jungle jungle patha chalaa hai!!!
Wilted flower wearing a chadi again khilaa hai!!!
Then Advani will do a somersault and say he's here to stay!!!
And detractors ko karre ga flay!!
100 days of UPA2 ...... inflation is rampaging...... swine flu caught
UPA2 sleeping!!
Drought and inflation have Indians weeping!!
Drought has hit India hard... UPA2 refused to heed the writing on the
wall!!!
Okay drought no one can stall!!
But UPA2 could have taken measures so that 'jorr ka jhatka dheere se
we would feel'!!!!
And not like now when under drought's effects Indians karr rahe hai
reel!!!
Illiteracy, poverty mitigation and health promises are still to take
form!!!
So its right when people say UPA2 so-so karr rahi hai perform!!
Pawar is the Minister who has got the lowest rating!!!!
Out and out non performer and on this there is no debating!!
His sidekick Praful too has a negative rating!!!!
On the 'performance meter' new low records both are creating!!!
The worst rated constituent of UPA2 is NCP!!!
In fact National Chai-pani Party is the new analogy of NCP!
Azad needs to be sent packing!!!
Performance should be the criteria and not 'backing'!!!
Confucius says.... a good start means the ball is on a role ....average
start like UPA2,
Means now a lot more rolling the ball will be required to do!!!

It's childish !
The sarcastic comments made by the President, IFS Assn. of Maharashtra
under the caption, "Feudalism" are very childish. He must
understand that the area of responsibility of the IFS is specific to
forestry and environment alone. An IAS officer is basically trained
to keep the country together and it is his first concern. He has to
keep eagle eye on anti-social elements, law breakers, terrorist and
disruptive forces, violent agitations, etc. in his allotted area, besides
devoting himself to all round development of the area, upliftment of
SCs/STs, weaker sections, care of widows, destitutes, PHPs etc, etc.
His responsibility is far far greater than others as he is primarily
held responsible for these items, besides some 60 more items of work.
Comparisons are misleading. Just because there is the word 'Indian'
in IFS, it does not make them exactly equal in scope of handling the
'central to country' responsibilities like running the administration
and to take the country forward in all spheres.
Ujagar Singh
It is just a question
The arguments seems to be cogent. But, do you still think that the
experience the officers of other two All India services earn is equivalent
to IAS? It is just a question. I am not concluding any thing, but, i
will be surprised if some one has very convincing YES. instead of cribbing
like that both services should try to compete with more technical knowledge.
anyway, in coming years it is technocrats who will rule the roost and
everyone will get level playing fields. It is not war between IAS v/s
IPS v/s IFS. It is between efficient and inefficient. Please don't be
too parochial. Don't drag the names of such association for such irrelevant
discussions. Remember, Sreedharan was not from IAS. When he got Bangalore
metro project he was 78. It needs inexhaustible energy not the wit which
you are thrusting gobbles truth.
Satya Prakash
On the Two Year Edge
Our IPS contributor has realized belatedly that the two years edge
to IAS is based on the single principle of "might is right"
and nothing else. What is incredible is that the honorable Judge of
the Sixth Pay Commission too had to be pressurized to make such an incorrect
statement that IAS are posted in villages while IPS and IFS were posted
in the cities. It appears that the ghost writer of the Sixth Pay Commission
is actually an IAS officer. There is no hope for non-IAS in the Civil
Services. It is not surprising that many of them are leaving in droves.

It would be informative for all
Over a month back I had suggested that promotions and transfers
of Central Para military Forces officers be included in the lists of
promotions and transfers. Could you please look into it. I am sure a
large number of CPMF officers go through your site. It would be very
informative for all.
How stupid can you be ?
A Visitor in FORUM has reported that "This August has 5 Saturdays,5
Sundays and five Mondays. This equation in a month happens only once
in 823 years." Wow! One doesn't have to be a statistician to note
that if the first of any month (with 31 days) falls on a Saturday, the
month will have "5 Saturdays,5 Sundays and five Mondays".
Since seven months in year have 31 days, the probability of "5
Saturdays, 5 Sundays and five Mondays" in a month is one per year,
not one in 823 years. In fact the last such months was December 2007
and March 2008 and the next will be May 2010. What are your highly paid
editors for?
V. C. Mehrotra
It's not a big issue
Month of October has 5 Tuesdays Fridays Saturdays. So its not a
big issue when as informed by a person.

Exempt Income Tax on GPF Deposits
The Government vide DOPT OM dated 25th August, 2009 has released
the 2nd Instalment of pay arrears late by 6 months. The Government should
pay interest on this amount. In case, the Government is reluctant to
pay interest on this amount, at least, the amount deposited in GPF Account
should be exempted from Income Tax.

A foolish thought
Some people want to say that DIG should be equated to Brig as army
is called by Magistrate
Army is only called when civil administration has failed and by common
logic when you call someone when you have failed means that you are
trying to call someone who is better and superior to you in doing your
job. It's just that army has more ranks and pyramid structure which
cannot be changed and is more rigid with no political support. It is
not like IAS or IPS where senior officers are in charge for printing
books or cows and buffaloes The country knows who are worthy of respect
and who are not.

Incompatible couple in public interest !
Sunila and Shiv Basant, known to me for almost two decades, are the
most compatible couple at home. Now, with the reversal of roles by virtue
of their new official responsibilities, their incompatibility in office
will be in public interest. While Shiv as CS Jhaarkhand will try to
hold back the governmental information, Sunila will insist on its de-mystification!
Best of luck to them, both at home and in office.
