Aaj Ki Aawaz

There is definitely more to the decision 'to give' Statehood to Telangana!!!
Hope you recall ‘ nakli chehra saamne aaye asli chehra chupaa rahe’ gaana????

Very soon we’ll be made privy to some of the inputs and some will be kept under wraps!!
Its now clear for some time to come Chandrashekar Rao will not be running his victory laps!!

TDP’s flip flops on Telangana are 'stunt acts'!!!!
Naidu believes only in 'one sided pacts'!!!

Telangana has kicked off a domino effect as 9 regions want to breakaway and achieve Statehood!
Though some would say Administratively this would indeed be good!!

In Darjeeling they’ve already resorted to Rao’s mode of demand..... fasting!!!
And now hopeful eyes at Delhi they are casting!!!

Ajit Singh is also demanding Harit Pardesh but he will not go on a fast!!!
And that is because of his past!!!

He studied in the US and has a US mindset!!!!
And then every two hours ravenously hungry like Americans he does get!!!!

He believes in the American philosophy that to protest one should not endure pain!!
Uncle Sam’s philosophy is ‘ until you do not give pain there can be no gain’!!!

Speaking of US …. Obama accepted the Nobel Peace Prize and justified US aggression!!
Obama may look to ‘war’ to get US out of recession!!!

All that US needs is someone like Saddam in the Middle East!!!
And US will end up giving itself a huge ‘impetus’ in garb of taming ‘a beast’!!!

US will again get Saudis and Kuwaities to splurge on US made arms!!!
And on rich Oil States US Arms Dealers will descend in swarms!

US should study Gaddafi's profile because he seems to be suitable!!!!
Quite a few disgruntled Saudi Princes are also recruitable!

And by the way Obama got the Nobel prize not for what he's done,
For what he's expected to be the award he won!!!

At Copenhagen Developed Nations want the real flouters or the Developed Nations to own up,
And money they should cough up!!!

After all if responsibility and cost for clean up are equated,
The Developed Nations will have to pay a major chunk for the clean up for the mess they created!

Jairam Ramesh  will go to Copenhagen with a pocket full of pens and a placard in his hand!!!
It’ll say……. Disclaimer : I and the Indian PM could differ in our stand!!

Jairam takes his proximity to 10 Janpath very seriously!!!!
And he's taken pangas with Mohna previously!!

Marathi Manoos have a grouse and that is Thackreys only realize their existence when polls come!
The Marathi Manoos tune only during the polls they hum!!!

Once elections are over Marathi Manoos say ‘ they forget us’!!!
‘On us they then stop to fuss’!!!

All of a sudden both Uncle and Nephew have forgotten Sachin and his ‘I’m Indian first’ statement!
Dono ke liye seems by Sachin pacifiers have been sent!!!

Has Sachin bought peace with Balasahib by sending him cigars and white wine??????
And to Raj has he sent a cricket bat that he got all his teammates to sign????

Veggie inflation is now rocketing and now veggies have disappeared from common man’s plate!
Very soon people will have to survive on love and fresh air at this rate!!

Government is comatose on inflation!!!
Pawar says ‘I already warned the Nation’!!!

India after talking the World rice prices up is now trying to talk the prices down!!!
Really we’ve ended up looking like a clown!!!

Confucius says…. UPA first mismanaged Agriculture and then damage control!
And in these mismanagements Pawar has a major role!!!

Adds....... Six years of Pawar and Indians are crying 'enough'!!!!
For Indians when it comes to 'dal roti' matters have never been so rough!!

Flash..... Now Congress says on Telengana it'll seek consensus,
Seems Congress has come to its senses!!!

Or was this all a ploy so that Rao broke his fast and matter was defused at least for now!!!
Has Congress 'artfully' turned the tables on Rao????

Don’t attribute politics or political colours to ‘Telangana Movement’

First of all I welcome the debate on the issue of ‘Telangana’.  My sincere request is don’t attribute politics or political colours to ‘Telangana Movement’.   Go back to the pages of History / gross roots of the movement. Try to assess the lives of people who were under colonial rule and feudal rule . People of Telangana under feudal rule for decades.   Nizams developed only Hyderabad ignoring all other parts.  You spoke “if at all it is carved out who is going to be punished” .  Why you are speaking such words ?.  Even if it is formed, are you  thinking that “KCR” will be made a king like anarchy system.   There will be fresh elections – all the major political parties (Congress, TDP, PRP, Left, Lok Satta) will contest and government will be established in a democratic manner.   There will be Assembly, High Court, Law Enforcing agencies like police etc. etc.   How your interests are going to be threatened? Why you are giving importance to calls like  Andhrawale Bhago ? Who will be KCR if it is formed ? There will be public mandate and rule of law.  I think you want to reside in Hyderabad  (heart of Telangana) and enjoy the beauty of Hyderabad and want to be ruled by either Chandra Babu or J.S.Jagan but not Telanganite (though to be elected in Democratic process). “Everybody knows who contributed to the development of  Hyderabad”.  Is for all monuments like Assembly to Osmania University Building, High Court Building  - pillar stones lifted by Andhra and Costal labour ? People of other region have invested in Hyderabad - for what sake ? for any charity  or for their own investment and benefit ? Is it a  money matter or aspirations of people to be separated ? Do you know who are the real beneficiaries of Hyderabad Real Estate ?  You might have  definitely voted for either Congress or TDP or PRP in 2004 and 2009 General Elections.   Have anybody gone to the telangana people with slogan like Unified Andhra Pradesh which presently you are chanting ? Did you ask your MLA what is clear stand on Telangana before election or their high command’s stand for pro-telangana forces?.   Everybody promised and when comes to implementation  you are putting lot of resistance ? Is it justified ?. In 2009 elections even YSR  canvassed in telangana districts with  a version that he/party is not opposed to Telangana in Principle.   Immediately, after first phase he changed the plate in Andhra and Rayalaseema.   Mr. Madduri please go to the history and see the Telangana issue beyond politics. Now it is public movement.  Barbers and Autowalas are also involved in this movement. It is no more TRS only people of Telangana.  Thanks to the leaders of Kosta and Rayalaseema whose recent resignations going to strengthen the movement of Telangana.       Even in politics wise, before 2004 elections, YSR was instrumental in submitting a Memorandum to Delhi with signatures of 43 MLAs for formation of Telangana.
Anyhow,  I welcome the contemplation of a committee / commission proposed to be constituted  by Union Government where no politician will be a member but only experts in various fields including members from other States.  I suggest you to express your views before the commission if you are allowed.

"The post of CSI has become stale"

A K Verma ,in one stroke, has won the hearts of all the aspirants to the post of CSI. The picture painted by Verma is so rosy that one is compelled to call it the best among all the organised services, better than even the IAS. This is only one side of the story. The other side is dirty. These ISS officers are born politicians. You can find one SAG level officer at every nook and corner of India languishing without any work. Let the Finance ministry carry out time and motion studies in the ISS. Their findings will be astonishing. 300 SAG level posts can be abolished immediately. I am a member of the ISS and I am aware how these posts have been created. A Senior officer has been working at Lucknow for about 20 years but the CSI has not been able to shift him out of Lucknow. There is no transfer policy. Lots of complaints have been made but the timid CSI, DG (NSSO) and DG(CSO)are not listening. Minister is busy in the lucrative Coal ministry.

Never heard in the past

This is not a question of one Minister and one PSU. The so called honest PM's many Ministers and their greedy staff is eating away not only the PSU money but their demand in the Ministries are so much and are of such type which have never been heard in the past. Their demands have eaten away funds of many Ministries and poor staff's genuine demands for official needs are being denied. But who is to blame, the purchased media not exposing their deeds for its benefits, we the people who are electing them time and again instead of giving them a kick. Nothing will change a few like us will write in this forum and will not learn to voice. There are protests/agitations for Telengana, Babri Masjid, outsiders in any State, religious agitation but how many agittion or protests are in India against the price rise. Indian public's soul has died.

Dr Ayappan is a brilliant Fisheries Scientist

Dr Ayappan has been the youngest Deputy Director General in ICAR. Being the seniormost DDG, his elevation to the post of DG, ICAR is very apt & just.It is also hoped that the culture of manipulation, machination, sycophancy & sheer skullduggery fostered by his predecessor comes to an end. Long Live Good Science!
