DATE WITH RTI
The appellant sought details from CBSE regarding those unaided schools which were being run on private land in Delhi. The Public Authority held that little authentic information is available and that is scattered in
various files. The CIC observed that proper record management is an inherent part of the Right to Information and so it was important for the CBSE to have its firm database on computer. The CBSE was directed to make their record management more systematic and supply the requested information.
Comments
Proper record keeping is an integral part of the RTI and information cannot be denied claiming that the same is not properly maintained. (The reader may ponder how well is the data maintained in his organisation).

Aaj Ki Aawaz
On Congress - SP talks Mulayam says all is well,
Whereas Amar hints ' Congress can go to hell'!!
Amar says Congressmen don't have a spine!!!
Says 'Congressmen should have a spine like mine'!!!!
Fact is Amar's spine is a retracting spine!!!!
Rarely it is seen but must most of them time spine ka there is no sign!!!!
'In his line of work a spine is a hurdle' many would say!!!!
So that means in a spring loaded box in his hip karti hai Amar ki spine stay!!!
Amar says the lack of spine has made Congressmen servile!!!
And this retracting spine has made SP vile!!!!
Commies have all but closed their doors on SP!!!!
And Commies say ' Spineless Party' is the analogy of SP!!!
Amar tried to meet Pawar but Pawar said 'no'!!!
And if Amar tries to meet Karuna he'll tell him 'ille po'!!!!
Now to get to meet Pawar SP is throwing Pawar bait!!!!
Amar says SP will support Pawar for PM's post if his candidature comes up at a later date!
Actually in the few weeks that SP was close to Congress,
Congress realized that allying with SP could get it into a mess!!!
Get ready for a 'vote on account' that in actuality is a Budget and that too a mega one!!!
With an eye on the upcoming polls this is being done!!!!
For BPL there are going to be gifts galore!!!!
And for BPL and majority minority combo there will be even more!!!
After all Congress has to show the Aam Admi its mooh!!!
And there will be some wooing of the Middle Class too!!!
Rahul 's inputs for the youth will also find place in the wooing!!!
So a 'total wooing act' in this 'vote on account' Pranab will be doing!!!
This is Congress's final attempt to get some of the soot off itself!!!!!
And make it look presentable on the 'election shelf'!!!
In Punjab Amrinder says now its war between Badal and his Pariwaar!!!
So then why is he saying that on Congress workers Akalis have declared war???
Mr. Amrinder we all know how and why some takeovers of Companies are done!!!
Money is laundered via this mode by the tonne!!!!
What is surprising that before he became CM Amrinder was a Pauper de Raja!!!
And after his CM stint he became once again a Raja!!!
Rahul says Modi is pro rich but this is not what poor in Gujarat feel!!!!
Or is Rahul lamenting that Modi has not had in a poor home a meal???
Gujarat 's progress has been inclusive and poor have benefited too!!
On Gujarat 's progress you don't hear poor Gujaratis boo!!!
Confucius says….. by sharing a meal with someone poor you do nothing that uplifts!!!
By providing job opportunities you uplift them and give them the biggest gifts!!!
Adds.... for us its adventure and for them its eating less so that they can offer us more!!!
And remember in these homes there is no store!!!!

Not unexpected
Mulayam Singh Yadav must pay due price for flirting with UPA. UPA (particularly Congress) being a political Shylock will not fail to extract the SP most and to leave it to political wilderness in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Gov does what it wants to do !
Finally, Commerce Minister seems to be successful in relaxing FDI in retail as DIPP has said that the same will be done in two weeks time after CCEA approval. He must be happy that he was finally able to make good his party's 'commitment' to allow FDI in such non-priority area. This just goes to show how government is hell-bent on doing what it wants regardless of merit or public interest. A thorough analysis on the hollow justifications of the government over last four years is found in http://prajatantra.blogspot.com/2006/02/fdi-in-retail-final-act-in-charade_04.html
As regards Railway Ministry, many people believe that the picture is not so rosy as is presented. Readers of 'whispers' would be interested in hearing more from someone who may know the real story.

Number of cases in Courts could reduced
Government also fights a number of legal cases in courts pertaining personnel matters of the employees. Government had set up Administrative Tribunals mainly with the purpose of speedy resolution of employees personal problems (The AT Act itself states). The Tribunals give a number of verdicts in favour of the employees solely based on the Article 14 & 16 of the Constitution and also based on the previous judgments of Supreme Courts. As per Article 141 of the Constitution any decision given by the Supreme Court becomes the law of the land. In spite of the aforesaid, the Government goes on filing cases in the higher courts, wasting public money and the employees money. The number of cases in Courts could reduce to a great extent if the people at the helm of affairs in the Government adopt a sympathetic and more positive approach. For them agreeing to the verdict of Tribunal would involve financial repercussions. But they do not find any financial repercussions, in the matter of misuse of official perks and facilities over and above the entitlement.

Ignore Gandhi in personal life, Adore Gandhi in public life. Keep Gandhi alive on currency notes, since his name still fetches you votes.
