Illegal use of public funds in promoting politicians The Government
of India has been advertising every day in newspapers about various ministries
which show pictures of even those politicians who are not part of Government.
This has been going on for quite some time and it is learnt that nearly 200 crores
have been spent. Promoting politicians in this way is illegal use of public
funds. It is high time, the bureaucrats who meekly follow orders and release such
advertisements are held accountable and made to pay, if they do not have the moral
courage to oppose such illegalities. I Khan Poor Steno Grade"D":
They are the persons who, despite working in the same grade for more than
25 years, are still to get next regular promotion and are waiting for ACP, which
gave some financial benefit and relief to them. The new 6th CPC ACP, which
is yet to be finalised and announced, may give some financial relief. Even that
benefit, which is yet to be implemented by the DOPT, is still awaited. Will the
DOPT officials do something for the benefit of these poor stenographers?. They
are the persons who are mostly used and misused by officials and seniors with
whom they are working but are not the benefit due to them. Officials with whom
they are working are also not doing anything for them. They are like use and through.
Moreover, many officials at the senior most level, even do not think to properly
write their ACRs, but think that by writing ACR they are giving them something
from their own pocket. Even many officers use the ACR as a tool to harass the
stenographers working under them and do not even write the ACRs till they retire.
Many of them want them to be reminded again and again even after retirement to
get their pending ACR written and are spoiling their career and promotion avenues
in time. Will the DOPT issue necessary instructions to get the ACRs written
properly and in time and see that they should not be backdated and if so, make
them infructuous. A Stenographer Nothing about Bihar police
I was told by somebody that whispersinthecorridors.com flashes news about
all the states of India but I am really pained not to find anything on the police
department of Bihar. K L Malik |
