Aaj
Ki Aawaz My psephology says BJP will not cross 135 (plus
minus 2% error), It needs 160 and thereabouts (on its own) to stay 'alive'!!!!
Congress will be a little less or more!!!! Horse trading there is going to
be galore!!! After all even if BJP is 135 it'll give Congress a fight!!!!
In my opinion which Party will win more seats on its own situation is very tight!!!
Advani keeps saying he's not indulged in mudslinging!!! He simply overlooks
the insults on Mohna that he's been flinging!!! In Advani's dictionary being
strong is 'heavy' mudslinging!!! After all it does take strength for the flinging!!!
Mohna should ask Advani what mark did he leave as HM or DPM!!! And then give
him a rerun of what he's achieved as PM!!! And why did Advani keep quite on
his 'nay' to terrorists being released??? Why did it take him so long to tell
us that he wanted the release of terrorists ceased??? After it was all over
why did he not let the cat out of the bag!!! That to release of terrorists
he had waived the red flag!!! Fact is this was a decision by consensus and
the Public's reaction forced Sarkaar's haath! I still remember relatives crying
for help outside 7 Race Course dinn aur raath!! Why does Advani not take a
page from Modi's book???? All that Advani is doing is throwing at opponents
the book!!! The Report on money being stashed overseas shows a spurt from
2002!! Advani was HM cum DPM so why nothing he chose to do??? Now the
2002 HM cum DPM sounds oblivious of this export of money!! This sure does
sound very funny!!! Fact is Advani was bereft of issues and clung on to this
one like taking tinkaa ka sahaara! Insiders say Advani simply had no other
chaara!!! It's well known that those in power stash ghoos overseas!!!
What plans does he have to make this cease???? Fact is India will have to
be innovative to plug the leak and get the money back!!! The leak it'll have
to first attack!!! And Advani's fib that money will pour- in will change as
time goes by!!! If Advani comes to power time and again time he'll buy!!!
Should a Army Commander tell his troops that they should be ready for haar!!!
If an Army Commander says this he'll be thrown Army ke bahar!! Why did Diggy
say Congress is willing to sit in the Opposition???? What was behind this
proposition!!! Diggy may say he said this as a bargaining ploy!!! With
committed Allies and would be one's karr raha tha toy!! By saying Q matter
is dead Rahul has pumped into Bofors life!!!! Bofors scandal for Congress
is like a troublesome wife!! Congress tries its best for a divorce from this
wife!!!! But it does something stupid and wife makes very mushqil Congress's
life!!! Confucius says.....They've been married for more than twenty years!!!
And time and again this troublesome wife has brought her hubby to tears!!! Adds...
What is Q in this marriage????? Well he's the matchmaker, Tent wallah, caterer,
flower supplier and he also arranged the horse drawn carriage!!! Bharat

IAS has had its way So 1976 batch has been empanelled for secretary
and 1979 batch for addl secretary. The superior service IAS has had its way elections
not withstanding. But what about the poor cousins --the other central services
-- their empanellment must be in the back burner--when will the other services
ever get justice? After the eligible officers come near retirement what would
be left for them? A K Chopra Why do you ignore news about other
Central Services? Why is it that your website also reports only about
IAS and IPS officers empanellment? Why do you ignore news about other Central
Services --and report only transfer stories of IRS? What happened to the empanelment
of Central Services . Cabinet Secretary had called for names from these services
also for empanellment of Additional Secretaries and secretaries. What happened
to them? S Varma Pay parity to organised Group A service - An
utopian possibility It is needless to mention that this problem will be
face by the most of the Organised Group 'A' Service because of their Recruitment
Rules as well as not giving / getting promotion in time. In my opinion the only
solution is that the Eligibility condition for considering Non Functional Up gradation
should be as per IAS Recruitment Rules instead of respective Service RR because
the RR of Organised Group A Services are not uniform. Nandini PESB
reforms! As a former CMD of a PSU, I would clarify that V S Jain, former
CMD SAIL and a member of PESB, is senior to Phunsog (IAS) who joined the Board
recently. A Visitor Pitiable condition is due to suppression
of voice Funny Fairy Tale:(PPS/Sr.PPS): Is PPS and Sr.PPS post at all
necessary in steno line. The above persons call themselves US/DS but when it comes
to work they refuse to take dictation or do typing and the work left for them
is only to attend telephone calls/send officer or tour which a LDC/UDC may perform
more efficiently. Apart from this, these persons are asking a post equal to Director
which is a laughing joke of the decade. When all the work is being done efficiently
by Steno grade 'D", PA and PS; it is better to increase the number of PA
and PS posts so that there is no stagnation at lower level instead of depending
on these PPS and Sr. PPS who simply want to show themselves only as officers.
Hope concerned DOPT officials really give a thinking at least now whether at all
these two posts are worth they have been created. E P Biswas Entry
age v/s Retirement age: At entry level, different posts require different
qualification criteria. Thus while for posts in PB-1, people join at much
younger age i.e. even at 18 years, certain posts require much higher qualification.
For civil services, or professional services, people can join only much later.
Average age at entry is 23 to 24 years. Hence it only would be fair that jobs
requiring higher qualification are allowed higher retirement age. PB-4 should
be given 2 years more of retirement age than PB-1. MK So relevant,
so nearer to the grass root reports I think you are presuming because
no one can be sure what voters verdict is for. In presumptions also, you are making
basic mistake of undermining INC in UP. Presuming only 5 seats for INC is actually
great injustice to efforts of Rahul Gandhi. You will see the results in Barabanki,
Gonda , Unnao, Sultanpur, Jhansi, Pratapgarh and to some extent Faizabad, which
were earlier with other parties, are in close range of INC. These alone are 6
seats. Sriprakash Jaiswal, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Rajesh Mishra, Jitin Prasad,
Begum Noor Bano are in winning position. So if you want to presume it may be at
least 12.) Varun Congress is looking at 10+ seats in U.P. Very strong
performance in some seats. Strategy of giving tickets to strong candidates seems
to be working. Sandeep TAIL-PIECE How a typing error becomes
a blunder ! This is a true story of a correspondence which went awry because
of a minor typing error. The lady Stenographer working with a Joint Secretary
in a Union Ministry applied for one month's leave. The Joint Secretary agreed,
and asked her to type out an application to the Administrative Division asking
for her suitable substitute. Instead of using the word substitute, the poor steno
unintentionally typed out the word "prostitute". The boss signed the
letter, in good faith, without reading it. The Joint Secretary (Admn.), who
had old scores to settle with the concerned JS, decided to cash in on the typing
error and he wrote back: "Please refer to your letter dated_____. The commodity
asked for by you is not readily available in the Ministry. You are, therefore,
advised to procure it from the market and forward the bill to the Administrative
Section." Contributed by-Pawan Kumar |
