Belonging to Kerala will now be disadvantageous ?
Belonging to Kerala will now be disadvantageous in the Government of India. In PMO, it is now decided informally that Malyalis will not get important positions. This is now evident from the fact that 1975 batch IAS officer Rudhra Gangadharan though not a Malyali but from Kerala cadre has been posted as Secretary Animal Husbandry. This brilliant officer first missed the chance of becoming Secretary - Department of Personnel and later Secretary - Information and Broadcasting (I&B). His chances were scuttled because there were too many officials on key posts from Kerala cadre. And now insignificant posting for Kerala cadre IAS officer C V Anand Bose.

Aaj Ki Aaawaz
PC's n New York and he's wearing a suit!!!
Or like they say 'suit and boot'!!
He's there to study how US tackles terror!!
And hope he finds out in the fight against terror India 's error!!
Problem here is that the fight is 'circumstantial'!!!
Whereas an all out 'war against terror is essential'!!
Vote bank politics stunts the fight!!
And the rich and powerful wanting to be exempt is also not right!!
In US when it comes to Homeland Security no one is exempt!!!
Message…. understand why we (US) are hyper or get ready to be treated with contempt!!
Vote Bank politics and interference by the high and mighty stunt India 's fight!!
Measures should in actuality be in back and white!!
Like here it is a status symbol to get around a Security check!!
And they walk around it with a look on the face ' I do not care a heck'!!
Like may I ask why is Mr. Vadra exempt… okay he's Sonia's son in law???
But why is a treated as if he's above the law!!!
If India has to fight terror then our politicos must lead by example!!!
And one Security measures they themselves should not trample!!
Satyam's ex Boss Raju suffered a heart attack in jail!!
Was it news of YSR's death that made his 'heart wail'????
His heart withstood all the pressure but YSR's death caused the heart attack!!
Was like a straw that broke the Camel's back!!!!
YSR was an able CM but there were allegations of corruption and heavy handedness!!
And YSR's and his son's names have cropped up in the Satyam mess!!!
Tharoor says peace and quite and a gym are a must for him!!!
Well he could have become a Member of any Five Star Hotel gym!!
With the Security these Johnny's get there is no way they can disturbed without their consent!!
And without a doubt from his earnings he could not afford the Hotel rent!!
Krishna many feel is another Shivraj Patil… hai!!!!!!
And by the way why was he enjoying in the Coffee Shop with Jet's Goyal chai???
Sharad Pawar is now in hyper mode and wants to finalize with Congress seat sharing!!!
He's in a hurry that can be described as 'tearing'!!
He wants Congress to be pragmatic or please do give!!!!
Believe in the principal of live and let live!!
Congress also wants the 'malai' portfolios that NCP had grabbed!!
When after the elections in the back by NCP it had got stabbed!!
As a lollipop Pawar has even promised he'll make Shukla the BCCI President!!
Even let him run IPL and back 'to the stable' Lalit Modi will be sent!!
Desperate times require desperate measures!!
Warrant sharing of family jewels or treasures!!!
And IPL and BCCI are big business ….. humongous if I may say!!
Congress would love to wrest control albeit for some time any day!!
By the way if Sanjay Dutt gets an IPL team what will be its uniform!!!
To Jail togs the uniform will conform!!
Only addition will be an AK 52 logo on the front and a middle finger at the back!!
And in the stomach region a picture a beer six pack!!
The team members will converse in tapori bhashaa!!!
And it will be mandatory that they be addicted to some nashaa!!
Coming back to saner issues…… this order to reduce MEP for Basmati Rice stinks!!!
Sarkaar blinks and then winks!!!!
At $ 900 rest assured non Basmati rice will be exported with just a hint of Basmati!!!
Do not understand Sarkaar ki matti (sense)!!
Confucius says….. when Rulers play games with what people eat …kick them in the tummy!!!!
Its like using people's organs as betting chips to play flash or rummy!!!
Flash... Arushi murder case is getting murkier with time!!
Trying to let the murderer get away is also a crime!!
CBI is now also known as Criminal Bureau of Incompetence!!!!
Either this or the very unlikely supposition that its Officials are very dense!!!
Without a doubt Arushi's Parents have something to hide!!!
And seems till now they had CBI on thier side!!

People with right connections reaping rich harvest

On one hand, such a hot debate is going on here on whispers.... on retirement age. On the other hands people with right connections are reaping rich harvest. See the case of Secretary General of Lok Sabha Secretriat. He is getting extension even at the age of 65. He is not even a IAS officer. But due to his connections he has beaten many a IAS officers in the race. Apart from other things, he is getting 90000 as fixed salary plus 30000 as parliamentary allowance. Is their any offcier who is getting this much? Is their any Check on such people.

Can we think of arresting corruption ?
China has simply outclassed India in every field e.g. economy, sports, traditional cultural show, infrastructure building and what not except misutilisation of public money. To start with, can we (Indian) think of vigorously arresting the corruption rampant at the ground level where common men are largely affected. This is the prime reason that we are not able to inculcate the sense of commitment to nation building? What the policy implementators are doing to contain it!! And who are the policy implementators, I as a common man has no idea !! Any more ideas from the audience in the step of sustainable nation building not entirely like lop sided (disregard of ecological balance) Chinese kind of nation building.
A Bad Indian
Mitra is a real asset to the Government
Though it is very early to say, but I won't hesitate in saying that Sunil Mitra, is a real asset in the Government bureaucracy to whom, I have never been in touch but otherwise I know him to be a symbol of sincerity to keep the country on development track in every field and if I am not wrong, today's stock market has supportive policies of Mr. mitra to boost the market.
On placing Mitra at Revenue Department will be a genuine and solid view of the Government of India. I wish Mitra all the best in his life wherever he serves the country.

DEBATE ABOUT RETIREMENT AGE
Retirement age may be enhanced in view of the fact that average life of a person has since been large and experienced hands are available without any further
liability on the government. It is very economical to Government.
O N Mishra onmisra_2007@rediffmail.com
Retirement age should not be 62 YEARS because in G.O.I top post are being handling by senior IAS officers some of them are near 60 and are involved in corruption which we can see day by day activity of most of the ministries. So same will be extended for two more years and also it will block the appointments for youngsters for two more years.
K S Rathore meena_ksr@yahoo.co.in
Keeping in view the unemployment in India, I will not agree with this. Government employees must retire at the age of 60 years to give a chance to young generation to serve the country.
R C Dubey vjinsky@yahoo.co.in
No. The retirement age may stay put at 60 for the moment as its extension to 62 will be both politically and economically detrimental to the health of the nation.
Kanhya Lal satwanico@gmail.com
Yes, in the interest of national economy! The number of pensioners under the defined pension scheme shall remains "frozen' for two years. It may temporarily hurt the interest of persons at the verge of promotion and they will have to watch out their CRs for next two years!!
S Srivastava ssrivastava27@yahoo.co.in
Retirement age 62 or 65 is ok as it is going to conserve the terminal benefits with govt. At the same time Govt. will have the experienced staff to man the organisation which are getting depleted due to retirement and fresh recruitment is not there since many years
Arvind Kumar kumar_arvind001@yahoo.com
We do heartily agree that the retirement age should be 62 years.
