Bhagwat met Vajpayee for half an hour!!!
To discuss what is wrong in BJP and remdial action they must have not gotten very far!!
Ten minutes for pleasantries and then good bye,
Ten minutes for biscuits, cahsew and badam chivda, gulab jamun and chai!!!
So do you think in ten minutes Bhagwat was able to tell Vajpayee BJP's pain???
Do you think in ten minutes what's happened and the remedy he was able to explain??
The meeting was just to put Vajpyee's stamp on the remedial steps being taken!!
All of a sudden Vajpayee's credibility BJP and RSS have realized…. awaken!!
They say Advani is going to travel the Nation's length and breadth … objective!!!
To find a replacement for Rajnath and he's promised he'll be objective!!
What about Advani's replacement…… well seems he's been told it'll be his take???
He's been told by when but replacement decision Advani will have to make!!
RSS and BJP should pool in and buy Advani a house and rid themselves of Advani!!!
Sachi Advani ne yaad karraa di BJP ko Nani!!
Choosing YSR's replacement is going to be tricky…. YSR's son's got a bloated head!!
After what's transpired post YSR's death 'down the garden path' the son has been led!!
Those close to YSR and who do not have CM ambitions as yet want YSR's son!!
The campaign for YSR's son for CM by them is being run!!
YSR's son is a babe in the woods and this lot ' look forward to puppeteering YSR's son'!
The Sarkaar they will actually run!!
Seems the boy has grown too big for his boots and will have to be made boots that fit!
More than he can chew the boy has bit!!!
Congress High Command is faced with a situation that is indeed tricky!!!
Will not be easy to 'picky picky'!!
By the way why is Laloo still using a chopper????
No shortage of time and there is no election where the Chopper is used as a show stopper!
And I'm not even going to raise 'how are the chopper charter bills being paid'??
'In the usual mode the payments are being made'!!
They say a Neta when he is out of power is mighty expensive.... frightfully so!!
What he demands 'people who have used him' have to give and they cannot say no!
As he's out of power he's of no use but his demands have to be met!
And mind you out of power more and more demands from Netas they get!!
Like they say ….get work done from an Official and not a Neta!!!
Official ki ho jaati ahi badli or retires but Neta does not and 'apni price zindagi bhar hai leta'!!!
He's on your back for as long as he does live!!!
And what he demands you have to give!!!
He's going to be on your back till he dies!!!
So now you know how despite being out of power in a Chopper Laloo regularly flies???
Pawar does not own a car but travels in the swankiest one's!!
It's rumored a garage overflowing with swankiest cars for Pawar a Mumbai builder runs!
Speaking of Pawar…… insiders say Pawar is practicing backward bending!!!
And message that he'll be doing this in seat sharing talks Pawar has been sending!!
In fact he'll do backward loops if Congress asks him to do so!!!
For seat sharing talks Pawar has forgotten that in the dictionary there is a word ' no'!!!
Congress has to decide if it wants to continue with NCP its alliance!!!
Could be pay back time for Pawar's 'no Gorri can be India 's PM' defiance!!
Now Gorri has a chance to set Pawar in place!!!
A big downturn in his credibility, power and vote base karr raha hai Pawar face!!!
Loha garam hai marro hathoda!!!
Time with NCP Congress in the upcoming elections ne apna naatha thoda!!
Confucius says…. Sonia should realize Pawar is a fox or lomdi!!!
And if she allies with him he'll enter Congress's hen pen and he'll leave no komdi (hen)!!

Incredible in this 'incredible India' !

It is incredible in this 'incredible India' that in the present era of intense professionalism, public sector enterprises are being headed by out right non professionals. Today he is holding charge of Rural Development, tomorrow of urban Development, next day of Finance, and may be the very next day of Social welfare or any other field you can think of under the sun. It does not require a Rocket scientist to tell you what the remedy is. On top of that, there is absolutely no responsibility on the person for losses suffered whether financially or due to poor reputation left behind. The ITDC or for that matter any other Public Sector requires not only a competent professional as its head, but a team of qualified professionals in each area of activity of the Undertaking. After all, why the Government chose one of the best professionals in the country to head the Board of Satyam in the Crisis, and not a Bureaucrat?

We have done nothing to obtain account details from UBS

USA has succeeded in part in obtaining account details of its citizens, who had parked their funds with UBS. As much as we like to believe that US succeeded since it is politically strong, a cursory look at the efforts it put in to effectuate the process of retrieving the information, should leave no one in doubt that we in India have done nothing to that end , except haranguing. For one, US chose to target the intermediaries like Mastercard and Visacard and US citizens who are other wise UBS bankers , to part with information on the names and amount of funds they have helped in transmitting to UBS. Second, a window of limited amnesty was deliberately kept open with a strict time line in respect of UBS account holders , all through out the process the US was in negotiation with UBS.A record number of US citizens went under amnesty .This was one master stroke , since nothing works better than the fear of the unknown , in ferreting out untaxed funds. India should learn from this , as absolutely nothing in its hands would enable it to rely on Article 26 of the OECD Model Tax Convetion , to obtain any bit of information from UBS.

Attempt to weaken IRS cadre

New Direct Tax Code: Attempt to weaken IRS cadre: As per the new Direct Tax Code circulated by the Ministry of Finance the CBDT and IT Department will be separate and Government will appoint any service officer as Chairman and Member of CBDT and as Chief Commissioners and Commissioners. Also IRS officers will not get their salary from government but out of a grant to be received by CBDT. This is being seen as an attempt to weaken the IRS service. Other services beware. Next may be your turn.

Why has NHAI failed to fill important posts ?

It is surprising to note that at one hand, NHAI is facing a severe crunch of manpower in Admin Division and on the other hand the applications for the four posts of DGM (Admn.) which were invited in Dec 2008 are lying unattended and no action has been taken by Chairman, NHAI to fill these important posts. Is it not against the dictats of Minister, RT&H Kamal Nath who directed NHAI to fill all vacant posts immediately.
