Aaj Ki Aawaz
Manohar Singh Gill showed his true mettle!!!
Wasn’t this the man who said the delay and overruns in CWG did nettle????

In Parliament he just dilly dallied!!!
And in a tacit manner behind Kalmaid he rallied!!

Gill may have been an able administrator but he’s a flop Minister!!!
Yes the way he passed wisecracks while other’s spoke showed he’s an able jester!

Jaipal Reddy said facilities were ready to hold Games today!!!!
Whereas the truth is even to meet a ‘reasonable’ state they’ll have to work night and day!

Manish Tiwari tried his lawyer skills but flopped badly!!!
And Sanjay Nirupam behaved madly!!

Fact is UPA despite its best efforts came out looking pathetic!!!
And the claims of the Opposition looked authentic!!

Kalmadi and his cohorts have all fingers and toes in the ‘pie’!!!!!
And now on facts and figures they blatantly lie!!!

Now Diggy has got into damage control!!!!
And he’s playing his role!!!

Diggy says ‘ if found guilty Kalmadi should resign’!!!
If resigning will bring an end to his chori charges resignation Kalmadi would gleefully sign!

He’d himself type the resignation on scented paper!!!
And while submitting it would even do a caper!!

At present by the looks of it Congress is buying time!!!
And once Games are over it’ll try to cover up the crime!!

If the Games are even average Congress will use it to cover up!!!
Maansik Bimari sorry Manish Tiwari will say ‘ Games were a success so shut up’!!!

On J&K Mohna will be making a statement that is grossly overdue!!!
Maybe to get permission to make the statement he was standing in the queue!!

As Madam was overseas queue did not move!!!
And he kept standing as before he made the statement Madam had to approve!!

He should have made a statement ‘yesterday’!!!
This delay even his ardent supporters do delay!!

Confucius says… Some say Mohna is becoming like his ex Boss Rao!!!
Rao used to keep mum and pout …. replacing the pout with a smirk Mohna does the same now!!

Flash.... Mohna made a statement!!!
Delayed the statement as on a 2 minute 'maun' he went!!

He reached out to the youth in the Valley!!!
Tried to be pally!!

But I still do not understand why was he quite for so long!!!!!
Such a delay is indeed very wrong!!

Will retirement age be increased ?
Almost every Central Government employee is expecting raise of retirement
age from 60 to 62 years. I know this issue involves many pros and cons and no government would like to antagonise all those who are for and against such a proposal. What is the mood of the UPA at the moment ? Is there any concrete proposal with the Central Government in this regard either way ?

Central Government officer

Corruption in CWG completely centralized

According to the Times of India corruption in the Commonwealth Games is completely centralised in the CEO of the Organising Committee, who carries out all Kalmadis orders fixing contractors and rates. This covers all construction works under all the agencies. The CEO bulldozes all the various construction agencies and the kickbacks go as far as Buckingham Palace. No one dares to complain. No tender rules are followed because the kickbacks are first negotiated. The contractor who pays the highest bribes gets the contract. It is very straightforward and simple, almost Gandhian in its simplicity.

Shortage of staff ?

While there may be shortage of staff down the ladder in the Government of India but the people at the top want staff more than their entitlement. The rules do not provide for posting of additional staff over and above the CSSS staff in the Central Secretariat but the senior officers get posted Assistants, UDCs and LDCs under them. This is crimnal as they draining illegally the exchequer by overstaffing. I am an honest tax payer, I have full right to file a PIL to get the disease remedied and the guilty punished. "Beware".

Promotion and postings of PPS/SPPS/PSO in MoEA

The stenographer cadre in the MEA is well taken care of but they seem to be unhappy due to their personal reasons. For getting better postings, PPS/SPPS/PSO inclined to merge with Stenos/PS/PS and are posted against a post of Steno or PA in the places of postings of their choice by getting precedence over with junior staff of their own cadre. In the Mission too, they declines to work as stenographer though he or she is posted against a post of stenographer. This could be a big surprise. It is not appropriate to talk at this moment. Earlier, PS were allowed to opt for US and some of the PS opted for PPS to get their promotion early and to get benefit of posting as stenographer in the Mission and post abroad. Why discrimination within cadre is not seen by PPS/SPPS/PSO. In fact, most of posts of PPS/SPPS/PSO are sanctioned for Hqtrs and a very few in large Missions even no such posts sanctioned for Posts abroad. See the big surprise.

Share the woes of wretched poor

Warren buffet and Bill Gates have been able to convince about 40 billionaires in USA to pledge half their wealth to philanthropy after they have put their money in worthwhile causes for the poor. They also intend to advise Indian billionaires to do the same. Will they succeed in this? I wonder. Indian billionaires are made of different stuff. They believe in living in opulent style having houses not one but many across the country and world with thousands sq. feet (Mukesh Ambani is having one in Mumbai with 40000 sq. feet built-in area),private jets and yachts(you must have read about Mallaya's Yacht named 'Indian Empress' with its own helipad and what not). They will spend hundreds of crores on their children's wedding(Remember Lakshmi Mittal's daughter's marriage in a vintage chateau in France)which can marry off thousands of poor men's daughters in India. As for charity they cannot think beyond a few temples or some educational institutions in their name. I wish some billionaires of my country get moved by the tragedy that befell Ladakh the other day. Leh and other towns have been devastated. Thousands have been rendered homeless. Why cannot the Ambanis and Mallayas, Tatas, Birlas and Ruias and many others rise up and help in building the lives there. Our corporate world is totally immune to its social responsibility while all our economic policies after liberalisation are helping them in making more and more money. Do they need Warren Buffet and Bill Gates to tell them to share their wealth with the wretched poor of this country.
