Four cantonments to be set up in Pakistan
The Army in Pakistan is setting up four cantonments in the militancy affected Swat region and in an unprecedented move, because of alleged urgency, buying thousands of  acres of  land direct from the owners instead of going through the legal process of land acquisition act which is considered cumbersome and time consuming. The rates being offered to the land owners are reportedly too low, “lower than what you would pay for quality  carpets made in swat”  according to the affected farmers who are seething with anger against the high- handedness.  It is noteworthy that the land acquisition act of 1894, the provisions of which are common to both India and Pakistan has, an URGENCY CLAUSE by invoking which the process may be considerably accelerated. The army in Pakistan is not explaining (or perhaps no one dare question the army in Pakistan) as to why these provisions can’t be invoked to cope with the urgency instead of entering into direct deals with the land owners ignoring the law.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Now Sarkaar hints it may hand over CBI CWG investigation!!
In Kalmadi’s Camp on this there is elation!!!

If its handed over to CBI then Kalmadi will surely get away!!!
For Kalmadi hope ki ray!!!

By the way as per stats CBI has the lowest conviction record!!!
State Cops average 30% whereas CBI is just 4% …in itself a record!!

Why not make it a Indo Brit Joint Venture …..CBI and Scotland Yard????
Surely then Kalmadi will get his pals to play the ‘be Desi’ card!!!

And anyway those suspended from OC have already made tonnes of money!!
Rest assured they’ve safely stashed away ‘the honey’!!

After all Kalmadi would have been their ‘mentor and guide’!!!
And he’s learnt from Pawar how to make ghoos and ghoos ko kaise karte hai hide!!

Of course we pay the highest price for fuel!!
Sarkaar loads us with duties and taxes on fuel like people load a mule!!

I’ve said this for long our Oil Majors are raking in profits!!!!
And from the huge tenders floated by these Companies we know who profits????

And now there are rumours that petrol prices will rise again!!!
Believe me such high duties and taxation is insane!!

Pranab Da may say high petrol prices are sign of a Nation’s progress!!
He’s already said inflation is fallout of a Nation moving on the path of success (growth)!

By the way after he got those ‘unsolicited marketing calls’ maybe such calls will be banned!
This infringement on our privacy needs to be canned!!

Hear when he got the third call Pranab Da blew a fuse!!!
And in shudh Bengali the choicest abuses he did use!!!

PC says ‘ in the Valley it is important to win hearts’!!!!!
By punishing greed and lust in the fight against terror is how this winning starts!!

And by the looks of it matters have really deteriorated!!!!
As ‘worrying’ now the situation is being rated!!

Confucius says…..apply medicine to the wounds but in the other hand hold the gun!!!
Only with firmness and fairness can this ballet be won!!

Adds….. And in the Valley please keep politics at bay!!!!
Or a dear price India will have to pay!!

Don't blame paramilitary and security forces

Today the way our forces have to work with one hand tied, we should be happy that they achieve even some results. In J&K they have instructions not to antagonise stone pelting mobs, in naxalites areas they have to work in the deep jungle for which no training has been imparted to them. Then the kind of cereals they are given to eat is what was rotting in FCI godowns. No surprise that they can't perform well.

No excess employees

World Bank and other people unnecessarily criticize our country that we have excess Government employees. In this regard I would like to inform that the percentage of Government servants in comparison to the population of the country is 1.83% in India as against that of United States and Canada, which is 6.88% and 7.92% respectively. We are trying our best to perform within the constraints and have also been successful in running our country in a democratic manner for the last 63 years. It is an other fact that the Government employees are mainly concentrated in the capitals and there is need for uniform distribution like posting of more government employees in remote, naxalite areas. If this is done there will be less of chaos, poverty, revenue collection and our country will prosper. The other alternative is that we reduce our population drastically.
