Aaj Ki Aawaz

CBI questioned Raja…… 5 sawaal!!!

But funnily in this interrogation boora tha interrogators ka haal!!

First Raja was asked…. how was the flight???

No question about the huge paisa ka flight!!

Then he was asked…… how's your health????

No question on his ill gotten wealth!!

Then he was asked…. what will you have tea or coffee - hot or cold????

No question on how the Nation was sold!!!

Then he was asked….. Sir how long are you going to be in the Capital!!!

No question on where he has stowed away his illgotten 'capital'!!

Then CBI asked him…. Sir what will you tell the Media waiting outside????

CBI gave the impression he was being grilled inside!!

It looked more like CBI appeared before Raja!!!!!

Despite being in CBI's Office it looked as if CBI said 'can we come in' and Raja said 'aas ja'!!

All this took just 15 minutes and Raja was in there for nine hours....what did he do???

He relaxed and CBI Officers did the same too!!

From Sagar Ratna CBI ordered food and he watched the Telly!!!

And outside the info that came out 'Raja is being grilled and for him it is helly'!!

CBI raided Kalmadi and his aide!!

After taking okay from Kalamadi raid was made!!!

Kalmadi gave CBI sign of 'all clear'!!!

Again in the raid the one raided was relaxed and CBI officials showed fear!

Joke... CBI team reported on phone to their Boss as outside Kalmadi's door they did stand!!

'Kalmadi's come out and he is wearing a green track suit and time again combing his hair with his hand'!!

The Boss responded... 'that is the all clear sign.... proceed with raid'!!!

'All clear sign by Kalmadi has been made'!!

Of course even a moron will say 'both Kalmadi and Raja were given enough samay'!!!

To clean up their houses and offices much to Indians dismay!!

Without a doubt some BJP Leaders were also in Radiia's 'phone book'!!!

And without a doubt ' ghoos' from Radiia they too took!!

Vajpayee's son in law for example….. all know that he wheeled and dealed!!

When ' Babu ji' was in power many a deal he sealed!!

In fact I know for a fact Vajpayee admonished him time and again!!!

But you know power and greed tends to make people go insane!!

Ranjan has been treated with kid's gloves by UPA!!!
Because of a humongous debt to Vajpayee that Sonia has to pay!!!

Ranjan is also benefiting from the love that Indians have for Vajpayee Ji!

Vajpayee is one of the rare Netas who from the other Netas, Media and public does evoke 'chi chi'!

Anant Kumar they say gave Niira 'wings'!!!

One after another embarrassment to BJP leader after leader from Kanrataka brings!

Now after onion, tomato and aloo there is news milk will prices will rise!!!

And then soon it will be wheat and rice!!!

Rest assured with Pawar at the helm things will get worse!!!

Because Pawar is more concerned about his 'purse'!!!

Call his bluff and shunt him out!!!!!

It is indeed high time he and his flunky Praful were sorted out!!

Confucius says……. Pawar needs to be told one cannot take money yonder!!!

On human mortality and being cursed by 95% of India he needs to ponder!!

Adds.... his flunky Praful gets up grabs his purse!!!!

Touches it to his head ..... for him paisa hai Bhagwan says an insider source!!!!

RTI

"DATE WITH RTI" COMPLETES TWO YEARS

Joint penalty on PIO & Deemed PIO

Information regarding the rent fixation and related issues were refused to the appellant. Mr. S. K. Nigam, PIO, stated that the assistance of Mr. A. K. Pasi, was sought under Section 5(4) of the RTI Act for providing the information. Mr. Pasi, the deemed PIO, provided the information "As the matter is subjudice in the court of law the information cannot be supplied at this point of time." The CIC noted that this was a denial of information without giving any reasons as per Section 8(1) of the RTI Act. While accepting that the denial of information was made by the deemed PIO, the CIC held that when a completely frivolous denial of information is made, the PIO must also share the blame. For a delay in providing the information of over 100 days, the CIC imposed the maximum penalty of Rs. 25,000/- jointly on the PIO & Deemed PIO.

Comments

The CIC has held that the RTI law holds the PIOs responsible for all decision on matters of law and officers whose assistance is sought under Section 5(4) basically share the administrative responsibility of providing the information. Most PIO's tend to act like
Post-offices, collecting information from the deemed PIO and transmitting them to the appellant. This order would be a wake-up call.

WHO ARE MORE CORRUPT-POLITCIANS,BUREAUCRATS OR JOURNALISTS ?

While media debates corruption, your website is flushed with opinions on the issue and TV channels are flooded with scam stories so any one would feel that government's way of thinking would be affected and there may be some sensitivity in its official operations. Well go and find out in any government office. It is business as usual. Same old corrupt ways of operations. Same networks operate. Same PR and CR (cash reserves) work for transfer postings. So debate my country as you must debate to keep yourself occupied. However ruling class never changes and it will never change. I had predicted earlier and I predict even today corrupt will get their way through. Only honest and unbending would suffer. System will not change. It will only get worse till one day it collapses completely. Lastly their is no merit in debating who is more corrupt as corruption has no degrees. One is either corrupt or honest. Politicians, bureaucrats, corporates and journalists are not corrupt in isolation as no corruption works this way. All is interwoven and if one of them is not corrupt then possibility of other reduces commensurately.

Politics - an art of possibility

Politics is an art of possibility. Hence a politician does not hesitates to indulge in corruption. He needs help and brain of high ranked bureaucrats. The high ranked bureaucrat needs ground support from his subordinate for doing this pimp work. Certain self glorified journalists hold umbrella to these activities and hide the facts from the public. These three groups are equally responsible for looting the public money. Thus this vicious circle is completed. In 2G spectrum scam, a dedicated and patriotic employee leak out the drama behind the screen to a gentle journalist who was encouraged and supported by his editor. This helped the nation to observe how the public money is looted by the politician. This shows that all politicians, bureaucrats and Journalists are not corrupt. All corrupt are to be punished with out any mercy. If the judiciary failed, the citizens of this great nation would be forced to handled this anti social and anti national elements.

Koyaji

There was a famous adage coined for our former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee i.e. 'MUKHOTA'. This was to signify him as a 'secular' face of largely 'communal' BJP. Now it seems this adage is more than aptly applicable to our beloved PM Manmohan Singh as he is turning out to be 'MUKHOTA' of honesty for a largely 'corrupt' Congress. It is for the Indian voters whether they prefer corruption or communalism. Let the next election decide.

CBDT Chairman

I fully agree with Shantanu that Sudhir Chandra should be the Chairman of CBDT. But the question is whether such a dynamic person will be allowed by those who want to see always a timid and weak Chairman. Be that as it may, we must pray to almighty God for Chandra because in the anarchy of our country God is the only sahara.

S K Singh

Badluck of IRS officers

I fully agree with S.K. Singh that IRS officers are suffering in promotions and other things because of their selfish seniors who have badly failed in bargaining with the Government. In Hindu mythology there were four Varnas ie Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya & Shudra. First two were on spending side & last two were on the earning side. First two were committing dacoity on the assets accumulated by the last two. Same is the position of IAS,IPS,IRS & other services. Prior to 1990, IRS were placed as the same as Vaishya were in ancient period. But, now a days even Shudras(other services like railway, accounts etc) are above the IRS.

Restructuring of CSSS

Restructuring of CSS increasing the number of posts at various levels in CSS has already been over and the implementation of these instructions are in full swing. But, what about the restructuring of overdue CSSS? The restructuring of CSSS may kindly be taken up by the DP&T on a priority. The DP&T may take into consideration the valid points relating to the regularisation of ad-hoc services at different levels from the date of their initial appointments in ad-hoc capacity. The regularization in respect of Stenographers Grade 'D' is urged upon because the Stenographers Grade 'D' had been the most severely hit category among the CSSS and if they are left in the lurch after rendering more than 13 years of service on ad-hoc basis, it will be injustice to the Stenographers Grade 'D' who are also the part of the CSSS. Hence, it is the need of the hour to take corrective measure because they have been denied of their legitimate right of promotion for more than 13 years in comparison to their sister category in CSS i.e. UDC. In other words, Stenographers Grade 'D' have been lagging behind in terms of their regular promotions in comparison of Upper Division Clerks in CSS.

V P Sharma

Why after 60 years ?

Why after 60 years could Kunwar Ramsumiran and Arjun Mallik think about extension of retirement age ? Wwhy this is needed? If a person could not do anything good till the age of 60, what more could be expected from him after 60. It looks like a rotten fruit kept in the basket of fresh fruits. He/she could be burden on the Government. Just think.

RC

Appologies

I agree with Ms. Ritu Sharma that tribals are innocent people. But one should understand that those who are taking part in maoist violence are not innocent people but hardcore criminals. if they are so innocent they will not commit mass murders, robbery, rape, arson, treason and extortion and various other heinous crimes. One does not require a Ph.D to understand that a killing is wrong. There is a problem in governance in this country due to which the poor people are not getting their due, but criminality is not a solution. In fact, the so called innocent youth is responsible depriving thousands of people their right to life by gunning down bread earners of their families and by burring their houses. It is high time to dump the 'theory of innocence' and to teach lessons to those criminals in the language which they understand.

Sharad Pawar needs to be thrown out

Sharad Pawar needs to be rewarded for achieving something unprecedented. From time immemorial vegetable prices have been low during winter and the common man was always happy that at least during the cold winter months he can enjoy his food with sufficient quantities of vegetables. But Pawar has destroyed all such dreams. He must be the first agriculture minister to have ensured price rise of all food items right from the day he assumed charge in 2004.Even now he says it will take three to four weeks for onion prices to come down when the common man needs immediate action. He is only signalling to his cronies to make maximum money during this period after which the common man may not tolerate this nonsense. One wonders why he needs so much money. Take any scam and there is some connection to Pawar or his family. He is the biggest problem in the UPA and needs to be thrown out immediately.

Can we take any action against powerful ?

Government is doing investigation on many corruption cases. But the moot point is that will anything happen to the powerful persons. And mind you, all these investigation has some cost also. Tell me, out of top politicians and bureaucrats who is not corrupt. There are very few. Everyone is having Assets many times to their known income.

Can we take any action againt Mayavati, Lalu Yadav, Mulayam singh Yadav, Neera Yadav and many others? This can happen only when their is a genuine Jan Andolan.

"Govt, No no ; the Congress party, Yes, yes!"

The suggestion is well taken. The trend of bogus awards is becoming common these days. The trend must be arrested by the government.

Vipin Jain

"Govt, No no ; the Congress party, Yes, yes!"

The column by A K Saxena was thought provoking. His observation about the growing trend among the CEOs of PSUs to snatch awards for "Best performance" by hook or by crook, needs to be scrutinised by the PMO before asking the PM to distribute such self-styled awards. The credibility of the PM is jeopardised. And, why give undue publicity to such bogus awards?

The national broadcaster in news?

Thank God that the national broadcaster is in the news only for some financial irregularities and not scams! But irregularity to scam is not a very long journey! In this season of scams, let us think a little positively for some refreshing air. Which is the biggest Navaratna Public Sector Corporation in India? My personal view is it is the national broadcaster--Doordarshan & All India Radio. Consider the growth of private TV & Radio channels, all making huge profits. It was all a monopoly of the national broadcaster. It never capitalized its potential . Excepting for doling out patronage and indulging liberally in continuing financial irregularities, it never thought business like the famous world broadcasters such as the CNN, BBC etc. Who lost? The exchequer? Yes, to some extent. The aam aadmi? Yes, to some extent again. But the writers, poets, singers, musicians, talkers, anchors, content providers, equipment suppliers, vendors etc. lost the most. They lost awfully. Many gave away everything (their talent, skills & creations) for a pittance that a government office pays, under rates fixed by the finance ministry, who have no idea of the value or power of fine arts or cultural diplomacy. Even the treasure in the possession of the AIR & DD are worth near about the charismatic figure of Rs 176000 crores or so. The value and monetary assets locked up in the national broadcaster will make any finance minister smile from corner to corner. Will someone please workout the total assets that can be converted into immediate cash?

IRS empanelment shame

IRS officers (and other services) must understand that it is no point crying about being poorly treated by the IAS. The 'jiski laathi uski bhains' policy works quite well in the Indian bureaucracy considering that the political establishment has outsourced the governance to the IAS. Why would one expect the IAS to treat their own ilk poorly. The remedy is that the IRS should show their laathi and do a good job in fighting tax evasion and raiding corrupt bureaucrats including IAS officers. For that they should clean up their own mess first and side-line corrupt officers themselves. Only when they do a good job themselves can they expect the rewards and neither the IAS nor the political establishment can afford to sideline them.
