ONGC contracts from July

To bring in total transparency in its contracting practices, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) will be going for Independent External Monitors for its contract initiatives from July 2005.

Announcing this during his presentation on Integrity Pact in the fourth Vendors' Meet held in Mumbai, ONGC's C&MD. Subir Raha said that he wants to make this Integrity Pact mandatory for ONGC contracts from 1st July 2005.
