Many similarities between Reddy and Hussain

What is common between Dr Y V Reddy, Governor of the Reserve Bank of India and Dr Ishrat Hussain ,Governor of the Pakistan Central Bank ?
Both are Civil Servants; Dr Reddy was in the IAS of AP cadre, Dr Hussain was in the Pakistan Civil Services.
Both have earned PhDs in Economics. Dr Reddy did it in India, Dr Hussain did it at Boston University.
Both have World Bank or IMF connection. Dr Reddy was India's Executive Director in the IMF, Dr Hussain was a regular employee of the World Bank after quitting Civil Service (on completion of his PhD from Boston).
Both have their children settled in the US (the daughter of Dr Reddy is an Engineer, who studied at Chicago; the daughter of Dr Hussain is a dentist who studied at Tufts).
Both have several publications.
Only dissimilaity is Dr Reddy continued in the IAS but Dr Hussain quit the Civil Service prematurely to join the World Bank.

P K Jena, who is presently posted as Principal Director, Regional Training Institute, Allahabad, is proceeding on deputation with the Government of India as Joint Secretary, Defence. He is 1980 batch IAAS officer.

Nine IPS want to go from Chhattisgarh

At least nine IPS officers want to go from Chhattisgarh despite shortage of officials in the state. They are already reported to have applied for going on deputation to the GoI.
