Siwan SP, Ratan Sanjay Katiyar , an upright police officer who recently raided Mohamed Shahabuddin, RJD MP is about to be transferred. This is being done under direct instructions of Union Railway Minister, Laloo Prasad Yadav. The search is on for a 'suitable' promotee officer, preferably a Muslim, as desired by Shahabuddin. The urgency is because it is feared that Ratan, who is 1998 batch Bihar cadre IPS, would be filing for a non-bailable arrest warrant against Shahabuddin any day now.

Clean chit to Shailesh Pathak by EC

The Election Commission has given clean chit to 1990 batch Chhattisgarh cadre IAS officer Shailesh Pathak.The Commission , after examining all relevant material has come to the conclusion that there was no basis to the allegation that Shailesh Pathak conducted any exit poll.The EC has closed the matter by dropping all charges against the Officer. Pathak is presently Secretary to the Governor.
