Aaj Ki Aawaz

Has Moily gone bonkers….. is a one man attack a mob????
Moily should not fire his gob!!!

Its either this lad injustice nahi karr sakaa bear!!
Or Rathod has staged managed this because in eyes of a Cop like him ‘all is fair’!!

What is surprising is that the stabber just attacked him on the cheek!!!
And that is why I say of some fixing this stabbing does reek!!

And now Rathod has said ‘Charges I will not press’!!!
After Project Become a Scapegoat now its Project Impress!!

Is Shivraj Patil a tube light??
Because on terror as HM did not light but as Guv Punjab this tube light did light!!

All of a sudden seems he’s studied terror!!
He says not contemplating attacks via air conditioning ducts is a huge error!!

He’s upped his ante in Punjab on terror because here it’s not the majority minority!
Its just Sikhs and they are a minority!!

If I were Badal I’d take serious note of what Shivraj has said!!!
Though PC says Punjab terror is not a threat but Shivraj could go into Code Red!

Shivraj is like a danger zone….. of course a nattily dressed one!!
Till now if a check is done on his achievements answer will be NONE!!

Being appointed to posts is not an achievement!!!
In those posts what one has done is via which message of achievement is sent!!

Speaking of Punjab….it’s in a financial mess … why????
On both Akalis/BJP and Congress the blame does lie!!

Why did these Party do this…. please do not be muddled????
Just see the wealth rise of Punjab Netas and Officials and you will not be befuddled!!

Ghadkari too has love for the Marathi Manoos!!!
And he says not Pawar but entire UPA Cabinet is ‘khoon choos’!!

Sucking the blood of the Public by allowing inflation to rocket!!!
And filling apni apni pocket!!

Inflations's got Ghadkari worried and because of this worry he’s gained weight!!
When Ghadkari gets worried he has to put more food in his paapi pett!!

Was BJP that barren in leaders that they had to choose Ghadkari???
Who is less worried about job on hand and more worried about his ‘komdi curry’!!

What will take place at BJP’s conclave… mouth stuffing and dakaar pe dakaar!!
Not Dakaar the perfume but belching gas out baar baar!!!

Jaya Pradha is now ‘politically in no man’s land’ and she’s desperate!!
She’s even told someone ‘ Amar abh karta hia mujhe bhi exasperate’!!!

She’s looking towards Mamtha but Mamtha is disinterested!!!
Though she’s sending messages to Mamtha with pledges to get her interested!

A desperate Amar may do a ‘revelation blast’!!!
They say on someone very serious aspersions he’s going to cast!!

From his ‘scum library’ he’s collecting data!!!
His slogan ‘ Amar ko mathh bolo itni jaldi ta-ta’!!

If Diggy is that good an investigator then why not hand him a few of CBI’s cases?
Because he’s good in investigation and that is why on him trust Sonia places!!

Or is it that his investigations are tailor made to his Party’s interests???
And in this ‘his investigative talent’ rests!!

Confucius says….. when a Neta is sent to undertake an investigation!!!
Objective is to make a budhu of the Nation!!

Adds... and when Sarkaar asks CBI to investigate one of its Mantri or Allies!
Rest assured CBI's Report will be a pack of lies!!

Flash..... introduction of BT Brinjal has been put on hold!!!
BT Brinjal has been put in the box that's very cold!!

Jairam Ramesh tried his best but the message was clear!!
He could not clear BT Brinjal causing genetic mutation fear!!

Shiv Sena has sent a message to theatre owners....beware!!
If My Name is Khan is shown there will be spontaneous vandalism so take care!!

On Thursday in all probability Sharukh will go to Matoshree and Shiv Sena will relent!
Message will be flashed to Sainiks ‘ withdraw Sharukh ne karr liya Boss ke saamne  repent’!

Or to release My Name is Khan Mumbai will be turned into a Contonment!!
That is if Sharukh does not go to Matoshree to repent!!

WHO WILL BE THE QUEEN'S CHOICE FOR PRIME MINISTER AFTER DR. MANMOHAN SINGH?
It is really stupid to think who is going to be PM after the present PM. This is because when inflation and other factors are not being controlled by these politicians, who so ever be the PM, how a common man is interest in it. So it is waste discussing about this subject.

My choice is Chidambaram
In my opinion, P.Chidambaram is the right choice for PM as he has legal background. A study of American History reveals that out of 43 Presidents till date, nearly 24 have been either Attorneys/Judges or men of jurisprudence. Why can't India have one like P Chidambaram. He is diligent, sharp and brooks no nonsense from any quarters.

Antony ?
Next PM. Oh God! Antony! Congress lost every parliament seat in Kerala when Antony was the CM. He was sitting at the helm of a rudderless Government. I can only quote what one of his long time associates said about Antony when Sonia picked him up as Raksha Mantri" I fervently hope that China or Pakistan should not think of attacking India when Antony is the Defence Minuister'

Eat brinjal, spare sugar!!
She was angry & he was furious when the hungry asked for bread. She was sore that the hungry showed the intemperance of asking for bread. She did give them this sound advice instead of bread: eat cake if you can't find bread! Wasn't she such a cute princess and he, her cohort such a condescending little prince, who had nodded dotingly at the wise advice of her Royal Highness! I am referring to the French queen Marie Antoinette & King Louis. The complaining Indian is also getting liberal doses in the same measure! Stop eating sugar, comes such sweet advice that one can not restrain flashback to the French Revolution. Yes, sugar is responsible for diabetes-a deadly disease. Why do the Indians eat so much sugar? With or without reason, they ask for/offer sweets like laddoos and eat them in good measure. Lord Ganesh has a special weakness for the laddoos and his devotees are even more hungry for them because they can't wait for Ganesh Chaturthy which comes once in a year and therefore, have decided to offer laddoos to the Lord once a week. Since the Lord eats them not, they surely buy a week's supply, offer it to the Lord and eat it during the week! So, the wise are indeed right: If the Indian find sugar high priced, why eat? This is "rational" on health grounds. The alternative to sugar could be Bt Brinjal--eat it as much as you can. Scientists say it is as good for health as any other vegetable. Since scientists are saying it must be true, for nothing other than science sells in the modern/post-modern times! It is a different matter that scientists can not create even one baigan/brinjal! What limitations that scientists can create neither matter nor space nor time nor even oxygen. They can not increase the quantity of water even by one gram! (My apologies if I sound irrational).
Brinjal forms neither essential nor staple diet of Indians. It is one vegetable that is never honoured by being allowed to reach the dining table on auspicious occasions like marriages, birthdays, festivals, iftars, official dinners, international meets or political conferences. It is not allowed to be served even in shradhas! Children(30% population),Youth(30% population),sick(25% population)don't eat it, as also non-vegetarians and the practitioners of Jainism! It has never placed any demand on the government's meagre FE resources for import. If imports have been nil, so have exports been(excepting for negligible quantities to neighbouring countries inhabited by PIOs).It has never been accused of price rise( contrary to the reputation of potato, tomato, onion or garlic). It grows in abundance, can be eaten in small quantities only, that too at intervals. Then where is the need for increasing its crop by commercializing Bt Brinjal? Why this unseemly hurry? Will excess crop not compell farmers to commit suicides? Don't spread unscientific information (commercial information) under the guise of science. It is not rational. Those scientists, who never cultivated their small farms, must note that it is generally hard to even recover the labour costs of picking up brinjals because of abundant production resulting in awfully low prices. Brijal has no shelf life, can not be hoarded like aloo in coldstores, can not be dehydrated for use later and is unfit for pickling or juice extraction! Why then such big noise about Bt Brinjal? If the MMS government can't take a decision to abandon even such a suicidal project, one can only hope the hungry Indian to turn angry Indian. If size is attracting our scientists, we have it in the shape of pumpkins, watermelons & jackfruits; supply whereof is abundant. Jack & melon ripen to sweetness, obviating the need for sugar, but Bt Brinjal is Frank in America(Frankenstein Monster).Pl don't ask us: baigan khao, sugar bachao!!!

A rot

Now the Australians are saying that the Indians are beating themselves and setting themselves on fire to claim insurance! Have you ever heard such rot? If we had at least one serviceable aircraft carrier we could have sent it to dock in Melbourne harbour to show the aussie thugs that we can and will protect our citizens. We are still to acquire the sinking Admiral Girshkov from the Russian navy. Why do we buy second hand goods? I would think twice before buying even a second hand Maruti leave alone an aircraft carrier. There has always been and will always be commissions paid and received in major defence purchases. We have to accept this as a necessary evil as long as the weapons are good and meet our requirements. We are really playing with our security by having an antiquated system of budgeting for defence purchases and the defence budget. Every year we keep surrendering hundreds of crores of the defence budget because purchase procedures are shackled by fear of audit , vigilance and the CBI. This is a ridiculous situation and we could well see a war where the Indian armed forces have inferior weapons when compared to the enemy as in 1962.We will only get as much respect in the world as our arsenal is full of bombs , guns , planes and warships. In the meantime dear Indians get ready to get clobbered by any old white thug on the street because we don’t have the guts to clobber whites in india in retaliation.

Whispers can be a good platform for initiating good work!
If we can have an all pervasive National Investigation Agency (NIA) which is a new federal agency approved by the Indian Government to combat terror in India, and is empowered to deal with terror related crimes across states without special permission from the states, why not a similar structure to deal with corruption by all classes of government servants and public sector etc.?
Have we become so immune to the fact that it is not possible for this country to occupy its destined position as a global power in the coming decade without ensuring that our internal functioning and administrative structures are fool proof and beyond any scope for blatant wrong doings?
Thangraj

Bane of our times
It is a bane of our times that corruption cases, howsoever big, do not baffles or disturbs us any more. Any news of any service officers getting caught in the act is taken as a matter of routine and forgotten a day after. Sometimes media may carry out some panel discussions on corruption or we may hear ceremonious speech from PM etc. in the conferences, like the ones we have got used to after every terrorist attack and thereafter all is forgotten and life goes on so is the corruption albit with a greater intensity. It is almost an open secret in bureaucracy who is making money and how much? Within drawing room discussions there are no pretenses left. At times the success stories of the corrupt only motivates others to follow suite as who would not like to own bungalows, commercial complexes, cash balances in the banks etc. It is also a fact that the corrupt have been largely more successful bureaucrats as well since they serve their masters well and it suits political class to have such officers to help them making a good return of their investment on the elections. This cycle is almost a never ending one with dynamic duo doing the tango.
It may well be idealistic folly to expect any change or reforms in the system as corruption looks to be a non issue in the public domain as public at large has become immune to corruption stories. This can also be sensed from the recent voting patterns where the leaders who were involved in various corruption scandals were elected with good majority.
Another institution i.e. Judiciary which could have helped to check this menace itself is deeply facing this crisis and has failed to deliver on reforming its own processes. Expecting Judiciary to pitch in for redeeming us from corruption is meaningless under the present system.
Though I may sound as pessimistic or a cynic but the truth is Corruption has become a all pervasive cancer in our system and there is nothing let me say with a repeat emphasis 'nothing' can be done to remove it from our system. Targeting any one service or profession is neither fair nor justified. Only good thing is that our system still continues to work with a fair degree of stability and we still have some good women/men left who are serving with zeal in a rapidly declining system. Let us at least salute these real heroes who have overcome all lures that have come their ways and have kept their integrity intact.

Your policy ?
I fully agree with BAFTA (WIC of 9th Feb.)about silence on money/investments unearthed in raids on certain IAS officers(though corruption is not the monopoly of IAS)Views sent on this topic on 6th Feb and again on 7th Feb by me were totally ignored by you thereby giving an impression that you are not comfortable publishing views on corruption and would like to restrict to issues like change in retirement age, transfer/postings etc. Even though I am not hopeful I am once again forwarding my views .I will be happy to be proved wrong. In the event of rejection atleast an acknowledgement can be sent to the effect that you are unable to carry our views as the same are not consistent with your editorial policy/you do not want to annoy or upset powerful people.
