Crying for the Bhopal Gas victims, now- Is there any conspiracy ?
The verdict on Bhopal Gas disaster that killed close to 20,000 people following exposure to toxic gas on the intervening night of December 2 and 3, 1984 has raised a storm in the country. With the Bhopal Court sentencing the then key personnel of Union Carbide India Limited and not touching the then Union Carbide Corporation (UCC) Chairman Warren Anderson the media has gone on overdrive. As the camera’s are jostling for space picking up bites to propel their TRPs the fact remains that those who were in Bhopal knows what happened on the fateful night and the days thereafter. None of the people who were present in Bhopal can ever forget that experience. There was nothing that was hidden from the public during the past 26 years. So, why this brouhaha now? Why suddenly a section of the politicos and bureaucrats are being blamed? It seems to be a larger conspiracy to defame the Nehru-Gandhi family and a few top former bureaucrats.
What is surprising is the fact that of the 90 per cent of the self-claimed experts on Bhopal Gas disaster, who are rushing from one studio to the other airing their views have no connection with the disaster nor were present at Bhopal or have witnessed what the victims and populace went through during those days. Infact, some of them were not even born at the time while the others are expressing their views from the cozy comforts of their offices/homes in the metros. Barring a handful of dedicated NGOs and journalists none of them had a clue about the Bhopal Gas Disaster case that dragged on for so long.
Instead of focusing on greater assistance – financial, medical and rehabilitation to the victims of the world’s greatest industrial catastrophe - most are out to settle scores and defame the Nehru-Gandhi family and the few bureaucrats who were incharge of the helm at that point. Are the gas victims benefiting with all this? Who are the ones who are benefiting by all this? Doesn’t this smack of a new conspiracy?

Children of civil servants not joining civil service due to several reasons
Children of civil servants don’t long for joining civil services any more because civil servants are no longer role models for their children feel the majority.
Majority respondents to a survey conducted by the whispersinthecorridors.com on the subject blamed the present day system and change in work culture for the services becoming less attractive for the youngsters with each passing day.
Whispers’ has asked the opinion of the surfers on “Why the children of civil servants now don’t want to go to civil services?”  And one thing that was common in the opinion of the respondents was that the children of civil servants were highly disillusioned with their parents’ appalling conduct as civil servants.
“Admittedly, there has been a continuous dip in the number of aspirants from  civil servants’ families commencing from the late Seventies of last century”, says a retired Civil Servant AK Saxena adding that the civil services are no longer the alluring option for the talented children of civil servants.
Reasons, according to Saxena, for this could be enumerated as: (a) Disenchantment with their parents’ deplorable conduct (exceptions cannot be the rule) as civil servants and evolution of ‘Mai-Baap’ culture in Indian bureaucracy. “This leads to their close nexus with the political honchos”.
Gradual and systematic erosion of  lesser mortal Services through subtle monopolization of all departments of Governance by the all powerful IAS coterie has also been found to be one reason why the children of civil servants these days don’t long for joining civil services.
Worse, the dirty politics involving wheelers and dealers in the prized postings of IAS officers to key positions – with no transparency, no accountability - in GOI and the States leave much to be desired.
Another important reason facilitating the drifting of the siblings of IAS category away from civil services is the relative imbalance in the government remuneration vis-à-vis the MNCs.
Children of civil servants have increasingly lost attraction for civil services also because civil servants mostly remain busy in exploiting their subordinates and making their career and they don’t think of their child's future.
“At he same time it is also equally true that many honest civil servants themselves don’t want their children to join the government because they know the sufferings of an honest officer these days”, says PK Mishra.

Aaj Ki Awaz

Seems BJP and JD(U) feel in Bihar they do need ek doosre ka saath!
Or before seat adjustment talks they are pulling each other’s laath!

Fact is BJP should have understood Nitish depends on the Muslim Vote!!
Why do you think on this Laloo is going ‘lott pott’????

If Nitish loses the Muslim Vote the Alliance suffers!!
What duffers???

Or maybe Modi did this for his namesake in Bihar!
Trying to get BJP the claim to CM’s chair by causing Nitish’s haar!!

Otherwise knowing that Muslims have a severe Modi allergy why this pic?
It’s more like taking into one’s own goal a penalty flick!!

Jethmalani aka Jethu has a way of getting out of a corner in an interview!!
And in a Karan Thapar interview this was on view!!

When asked about his political back flip!!
He got up and verbally gave Thapar a bruised lip!!

Thapar asked him ‘you stood up against Vajpayee and you did speak your mind’!
‘Why now back into BJP your way you did find’???

Jethu knew he had no reply so he stomped out!!
After giving Thapar a shout!!

Must be first time in his life that Jethu’s Vakeel mind let him down!!
And in the end looked like a ‘angry clown’!!

Pranab Da’s firefighting has not quelled the Bhopal fire!!
Seems now Kapil Sibal will be pressed into duty and his gob he’ll fire!!

And Bhonpu Janaki Natrajan is just adding fuel to the fire!!
By her body language its obvious on defending the undefendable ho gay hai tire!

Now the ‘fire is spreading’!!
And towards 10 Janpath it is spreading!!

There is no way that Anderson slipped out on Arjun’s orders!!
On sheer ludicrousness this borders!!

There was pressure put on PM by US or its overseas arm CIA!!
CIA must ‘made grounds’ for Cannot Intern Anderson or CIA!!

But this is for sure with Anderson Rajiv did not collude!
Both BJP and Congress are trying their level best to delude!

Did US threaten to send the seventh fleet or was there some embargo threat??
Or did CIA give Rajiv a sample of its ‘data bank’ that made him sweat???

In 1984 in the genocide and Bhopal tens of thousands died!
And in both the genocide and Bhopal Justice has just sighed and sighed!!

In both cases justice been delayed and denied and humaneness has cried!
The blindfolded Lady with the scales has been taken for a ride!!

Arun Nehru is trying to ‘sekko his rotis in the Anderson being allowed to go fire’!
Blanks now karr raha hai Nehru verbally fire!!

Confucius says…..this happens only in India …. really sad!!
I'm sure like me it makes you too hopping mad!!

We are slaves again
This is about lies and lies.  We in India respect who speaks much hoarse lie. We fully understand that person before us is speaking lie but still we will follow him because persons who speaks truth are not liked.  We like political poison coated in the sugar of lies in India.
It took 100 years from 1757 (Battle of Plassey to1857) for Britishers to enslave India but the present political system has again enslaved us within 63 years after 1947.  Greed is the Rule of this nation either it be power or financial greed.  No law, rule or principle is required in this nation.

About "Harmed Forces"

It refers to Kamal badmouthing the "Generals" slanderously using your web media over a general’s preference for a lady PSO. If he / she has courage, why not complaint as a matter of right and ask Defence Minister not to employ females in MoD and Services HQ?

It is no ones case that the "generals" should be above civility, law and scrutiny. In the environment where the politicians, IAS, IPS, media men etc have completely lost all "Izzat" and even semblance of public trust by committing even acts of treason such as Bhopal
betrayal, the fauzi Generals and Colonels are occupying front pages for mere allegations, pretty acts of commission and omissions and even their wives and children are not being spared for things like petty accidents. That can not be natural trend but a planned strategy and
established biases of some mediamen nurtured by those who want to pull down the image of Army so that it as an institution looks to be standing as downtrodden as all others corrupt institutions. The IAS / IPS lobby with great power and leverage over the corrupt netas and
media leave no stone unturned to "show the Generals their place" even if it comes to using the civilian PS in service HQs. If gone bad, an institution needs corrections indeed,  but it should not be destroyed just for competitive close and narrow minded group objectives of those
who want to be above all even at the cost of betraying national interests. The lobby of bureaucrats and interested Media grouped with them, have emerged as an unconstitutional powerhouse which instead of being healthy for democracy is wrecking havoc on some very fine
institutions of the Country and society.

Kindly concentrate on bigger malice and not "Harm" or make mockery of Armed Forces to cover your own sordid deeds. Do not potray that "Generals" also have joined the gang. So far they have not and let them remain insulated. "Cut them, keep them but betray Not!" Armed
Forces have been the last bastion of democracy and national unity in India. Do not betray and destroy that last hope!

PPS./Sr.PPS/PSO
DS/Dir are provided stenos for putting up files.  But PSSr. PPS/PSO are already posted with senior officer to take dictation and do other official works.  It is very silly to say that they also require a steno to assist them. Better react like a gazetted officer.  Still it is a established fact that US/DS/Dir are 100% worth the designation they are holding but PPS/Sr.PPS/PSO are only a modified form of an ordinary steno because an experienced steno(adhoc PA) can
independently handle a senior officer with very less support when compared to PPS/Sr.PPS/PSO.  This would also result in financial saving for the Ministry.

Curtail discretionary powers to prevent corruption

Corruption does not relate only to financial corruption but also relates to misuse of power.  As I remember, once our Hon’ble Prime Minister rightly said that Root of corruption is discretionary power conferred on executives and judiciary.  Our novice judges instead of imparting justice seems more interested in using discretionary power, the same is also the position for novice executives.  Nowadays, judiciary as well as executives are interested mostly in denying
justice either on account of limitation or on the basis of suspicion/conjecture.  The need of the hour is to curtail discretionary power conferred on judiciary and bureaucracy.  There is
need to evolve a procedure that the discretionary  power is used either only by council of ministers or the  forum consisting of Public representatives, NGO, concerned department officials etc. collectively.   Wherever discretionary power is required to be used such matters must be forwarded to such forums.  It is true that governance can not be improved merely by changing the governments.  It requires reforms in the system, which are being done under the
leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister sincerely.

Why should DMs, SPs be different?

26 years after Bhopal the public is appalled at the conduct of the DM and SP. Normally, upright DMs and SPs face departmental enquiries, vigilance enquiries which drag on for decades and CBI enquries whichlast for  two or three generations! Why blame the DM and SP who did not have the guts to question the CMs orders? There were a few officers, who even during the Emergency had the courage to defy their Chief Secretaries and CMs and had to pay the price as they were harrassed and victimised ruthlessly. Does anyone care to remember
those IAS and IPS heroes who deposed before the Shah Commission about the excesses committed by other fellow officials in order to please the political bossess during the Emergency? No, nobody remembers them. They should have been given the Shaurya Chakra for courage, instead they were dubbed as fighters (whatever that is supposed to mean) and
denied the postings and promotions to which they were entitled to. All political parties avoided them as they were dubbed "fighters" and "difficult" and they remained in the backwaters and shallow waters till they retired. This is how a mandarins back is broken. Our
Ministers deserve the public they get,ie, the Maoists.
