Aaj
Ki Aawaz They say donations to BSP have risen 30 fold in
the past 3 years!! And may rise to 50 fold before BSPs term's end nears!!
Maybe BSPs making more Members, And then Mayas
diktat every one remembers!! Give me your money was
her chant!!!! And we know when Bhenji asks no BSP Member can say I
cant!! Without a doubt there is credence to Congresss
laundering claim!!! But then for this Congress is to blame!!! Because
Congress is the fountainhead of money in politics!!! So Congress needs to
think before on BSP it picks!! Its a widespread malaise and
affects the entire political domain!! Coming to power means money ki
rain!!! Maya says I take it openly and Congress takes
it behind closed doors!! And on Congresss taking there are so
many folklores!! And then Congress is taking Mayas support
in Dilli!! So Congress pointing fingers at BSP looks and sounds
silly!!! Maya has tried every trick in the book to occupy Indias
centerstage!! But hardly any headway shes made!! And
after the next UP State election shell be having a lot on her mind!! Out
of power shell be hoping that to her statues the next UP Sarkaar will
be kind! Whats happening on Bundelkhand and Harit Pradesh????
On carving up UP Congress is giving mixed sandesh!!! Maya wants
it, Ajit Singh is dying for it and Mulayams in a fix!! He feels the
creation of these two States would mean SP would be hit for a 6!! Congresss
think tank is still in thinking mode!!! Whats got them worried
is Maya for creation of States karr rahi hai goad! Ghadkari
is now siezed with 'portfolio' allocation!!! He has to balance within BJP
'the power equation'! Two spoons of Advani Camp, one spoon of Rajnath
Camp and so on!!! Like a seasoned cook he'll try to get the job done!
I feel on BJP he's a cruel joke!!!! For this job he's an
unfit bloke! BJP's going in for Cut Motions on the Finance Bill!!
Maybe in the end you may end up paying less when 'your tanks you fill'!!
BJP + Commies + SP + RJD and a angry Mamtha could spell trouble for Congress!
For some time Congress will be in stress!! In the Women's Quota
Bill too there could be some tweaking!! Rumored that 'backroom' mein on this
with Congress Laloo is speaking! Mohna has revaluated Indian lives
and cap in Nuke Civil Liability is being raised!! And then Madam will appraised!!!!
Madam they say is not too happy with this Bill and she feels it'll
create a din!!! Opposition Sarkaar ko karr sakthi hai pin! Grain
is rotting and after an expose Pawar jaaga!!! But then this is our Nation's
saga!! Sarkaar prefers to let grains rot!! Than distribute
the grains to the hungry lot!! If a quality audit is done of FCI's
foodgrain stock!!! The results will shock!! More than a quarter
of the foodgrians humans cannot eat!! Be it rice or wheat!! Confucius
says.....andher nagri chaupat raaj!! Rather than distributing to the poor
they prefer rot ho jaye anaaj!!

criticism of Cabinet Sec's letter In my opinion there has been some unfair
criticism of Cab Sec's letter to fellow civil servants on this forum. All the
Cab Sec has done is to reiterate the values expected to be followed by the civil
servants. There may be certain weaknesses in individual behavior but the values
that are supposed to be enshrined in the behavior of civil servants needed reiteration
and it could not but have come out from the top most civil servant of the country.
It is highly unfair to say that he must practice what he preaches particularly
when his long tenure on the top chair has largely remain non-controversial and
without any allegations of any impropriety. We all know that he has also been
quite fair for central services as well and have tried to induct them in good
numbers in the secretariat in sharp contrast to some of his predecessors. There
has been quite a number of administrative reforms which has been initiated during
his tenure including change in performance appraisal methods in government. How
many other civil servants can claim to carry out reforms in their respective areas
of operation with a majority of bureaucrats largely working for their personal
agendas. In my opinion he remains to be one of the few old age good bureaucrats
left in the country who choose to work quietly in their domain without much glamour
and media exposures and leveling such unfair criticism on him is completely uncalled
for. MBWhat about CBI cadre officers ? We are hearing
quite a lot from CPO officers here, regarding promotion avenues vis a vis IPS
officers. But what about the CBI cadre officers, who are directly recruited as
DSP's? Only 40% of SP level posts are available to them, only 25% of DIG level
posts, and only 20 percent of IGP level posts. There is no question of there being
any Additional Directors from CBI Group 'A' civil service cadre (who are recruited
through the UPSC civil services exam, no less!). Shouldnt the CBI group
A cadre have better prospects too? All CPO officers become at least DIG. Almost
no CBI officers become the same. -A concerned citizen. Dissatisfaction
amongst CPO officers The CPOs officers are not trying to draw any comparisons
with Army. Army and CPOS are totally different and both their service conditions
as well as emolument packages are different. The statement that the CPO officers
become DIG in 20 years is absolutely wrong. Most of them pick up this rank after
putting in 27 or 28 years of service and then stagnate there for rest of their
careers. Raj Freezing off ? When cooling off for voluntary
retirement is increased to five years, it should be called freezing off! A
K Singh What a joke? I accept the views that Steno Gr D &
C are still in a dark room. No future after serving 20-25 years as grade 'D".
Just Rs. 200 or more as grade pay. DoPT still preparing 84 select list. Diana It
is extremely unfortunate that even after having a competent and judicious Home
Minister committed to internal security, the sentinels of peace 9000 group A officers
of central paramilitary are suffering. It is these officers who are responsible
for leading 10 lakh personnel on field sacrificing their lives and comforts and
not handful of IPS officers sitting in headquarters and calling shots and misguiding
the HM on policy matters. If HM is serious in his mission, it is prudent that
he calls officers of paramilitary and address their grievances and gives their
dues before it is too late. He should not remain oblivious and complacent on these
issues. Recent incidents in BSF need to be taken seriously. All is not well as
being projected by these IPS officers who have led J&K, Chhattisgarh, Jharkand
and North East to their present condition. Rakesh Misuse of
