Aaj Ki Aawaz

Good thing BJP has realized walking out of the House is not right!!
Now seems BJP has decided to stay put in the House and fight!!

Yes what’s the use of staging walk outs and ‘showing the back’!!!
Stay in the House and with apni arguments Sarkaar ko karro attack!!

What purpose does a walk out serve????
By walking out from their duty MPs swerve!!

Do not leave the battlefield and let the Treasury Army win!!!
Stay in the House and Sarkaar ko karro pin!!

Strategize and come totally prepared!!!
Without these two Sarkaar’s jiggery pokkery cannot be bared!!

Take advantage of the weaknesses of those sitting on the Treasury Benches!!!
‘Work the trenches’!!!

Like its known when in a corner Pranab Da flies off the handle or PC becomes rude!!!
Or Pawar tries to fib his way out and Mamtha becomes crude!!

On Kashmir it would be prudent that Mohna calls the Opposition,
And makes ‘let us be one on this issue’ proposition!!

Hope you recall Pakis saying Indo Pak talks are not moving ahead,
Because there is political bickering in India….to the Media this story was fed!!

No doubt if a peace solution is found the Party in power will politically gain!!
Get the Opposition on board and so what if on them too fall a few drops of ‘kudos’ rain??

BJP too has to realize that in any such agreement there will be give and take!!!!
They should keep in mind what is at stake!!!

Though personally I feel Pakis will accept nothing less than Kashmir’s ‘liberation’!
And please do not forget this Pakistan has the title of Rogue Nation!!!

And it is well known Paki Government is actually ‘in a minority’!!
The Army and the rogue element are in a majority!!

India should demand that Paki Government get Letters of Authority from the majority!
Because India cannot negotiate with Paki Government that is in a minority!!

Pawar says he does not have a clue on the affect of fuel hike on prices of food!!!
And I’m sure he hopes his message will be understood!!

Means he has nothing to do with the fuel hike!!!!!
Now if Congress blames him for high food prices he’ll tell Congress to take a hike!!

Amar Singh is officially no longer Thakur Amar Singh,
On his Website Thakur title kiya Amar ne bahaar fling!!

Nowadays he’s trying to show he’s a multitalented man!!!
A few films with him in sidey roles already are in the can!!!

Hussein says his decision to become a Qatari was commercial!!!!
So his Indianess was superficial!!

Confucius says....He can change his Motherland for money...his initials mean Money (pe) Fidah!
Aise aadmi ka paisa hothaa hai Khudaa!!!

Why are the Keralites ahead ?
The Keralites are more meritorious than others due to high literacy rates. This is the secret of their predominance in civil services and holding responsible positions in the Central Government.
Raji Phillip,Thiruvantipuram

Reg above whisper
Please note that the literacy rate of Kashmiri Pandits in J&K was 99.8% and were meritotious too. What happened to them.

Let's not criticise any one
Any CSS officer, who finds chance to work with Secretary level officers/Ministers as OSD or Additional PS, never likes to leave that seat. While working there, he gets support of Gr.D/C, etc. Does it mean, he/she is incompetent or the domestic servant. I feel, while working with senior officers, any job required by them from their sub-ordinate officers is taken as prashad and is followed word for word. This is the system. Let's not criticise any one and work like a team in the Central Secretariat (CSS & CSSS should unite together).
Lal Gulab

CSSS should not try to infringe on the area of CSS
Passing an exam does not relate to one being from CSS or CSSS. It is one's effort/hardwork which makes one pass an exam. Some brilliant and competent persons, who are so loyal to their work have not bothered to take their SO's promotion examination seriously. CSSS should not try to infringe on the area of CSS. If this allowed then CSS people should also be allowed to infringe in other services. Their one Ministry of the Government of India, in which there is no IAS boss. IAS cannot infringe on the Railways as the job their is very technical in nature. Similar analogy should exist in respect of CSS and CSSS.

For short term benefits

I have read many times biased views about PPS/SPPS and now PSOs from the PA/PS who themselves are part of the cadre. I think their views are expressed for short term benefits. It is a evolutionary process from PA to PSO and everybody has to undergo various stages and one should not undermine their senior colleagues because they themselves have also to grow into that stages. It does not help if we keep on striking against each other because united we win and divided we lose. One should think of widening the promotion prospects in the cadre as a whole and not with narrow mindedness of short term benefits.

A thing that is self evident
It is for them to decide whether they would like to be so called and known. Your survey will neither help nor hinder.

Hussain is no painter at all
There is this huge debate going on in the media about the painter MF Hussain’s decision to become a Quatari. Allah help Quatar! Hussains paintings are a cross between a street cinema poster and a giant cartoon. He is no painter at all but a creation of shrewd media hype and a successful fooling of the West. The Indian elite has mortgaged its intellect to the West and is incapable of independent judgement in these matters. Hussain is street smart and is at best, an art trader. His despicable paintings sell at crazy prices and there are any number of status seekers with tons of black money to buy them. His so called art is like the Emperors clothes....they simply arnt there! And nobody has the courage to call the bluff! Hussain is a shrewd businessman and a con artist par excellence. His real reason for staying in the Middle East , as opposed to his stated reasons is to avoid Indian Income Tax. Let us see if he will paint nude paintings of the Prophet Muhammed and his wife ( will their souls rest in peace?) in his new found haven of freedom , the Islamic kingdom of Quatar. In India he could get away with obscene paintings of Hindu godesses, like Saraswati etc. by saying he wanted artistic freedom ,(to hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus?). During the Emergency he ingratiated himself with Indira Gandhi by making a painting of her as Durga. Since then he has been a darling of the Gandhi Pariwar. Never mind that he committed sacrilege by depicting Durga as a professional Indian politician. Hindus don’t mind such insults to their religion or religious beliefs. Or even if their religious leaders are handcuffed in America and paraded in public like common criminals or if propaganda campaigns are launched on the Internet slandering Hindu religious leaders by the Vatican.

Hypocrite world
One of my recent experience reminded me of the hypocrite world that we have come to build around us in the modern times. Amir Khusro as you all know was a sufi poet and his poetry inspired the sufi movement. Sufis themselves were fakirs and propagated their wonderful philosophy of life to the common people. In short this was basically a movement of the commoners. Now to celebrate Khusro's poetry an annual festival called Jahan-i-Khusro is held in Delhi every year apparently with handsome governmental support. The festival though can be attended by high and mighty or rich or the so called creme-de-la-creme of Delhi. The elite of Delhi vie for 'passes' of the festival and those who can afford buy the high priced tickets. What an irony and what a festival for a poet whose poetry cannot be heard by the same commoner for whom he wrote! Worse part of the entire hypocrisy is that many in the audience are those who proclaim themselves as communists or socialists.

What a shame !
The arrest of an officer as senior as the CPMG of Maharashtra and Goa by CBI for corruption has shocked me. Till this time I was thinking there are no avenues of corruption in the postal department atleast. What a shame!

RTI being misused by the vested interests
I am in full agreement that RTI is being misused by the vested interests. The unrelated information, views expressed on Notes are the hindrance of the purpose for which this ACT was brought. I think that all concerned in Government and public should come to a framework which may be workable to the benefit for the concerned. This misuse of the Act for vested interests is hurting the actual beneficiaries. Every one should indicate in the question that in what way this information is beneficial to him. Questions should be restricted as is the case for Parliament Questions. Notes are views of an individual officer and finality decision lies with the highest authorities. Correspondence of the Government depends the decision taken on note side. Since correspondence is based on the decision where is need for Notes. It should be given only if it is brought that it will be beneficial to the applicant to have this information.

RTI Act is one of the greatest achievements
RTI Act is one of the greatest achievements of the State. Let's not belittle it by raising frivolous objections. vGatti should know that there is provision of putting all possible information on the web so that the Public doesnot bother babus like Mr. Gatt. Instead of thinking about Govt. interest (read his own interest), Gatti should think of the poor man who has to run from pillar to post for any! information.

Keralites Among the top
It is just a passing phase. Sometimes back even in the top private sector companies most of top Financial person was a Keralite. It is not that they are better and others are not, but more of being there at the right time with right connection.

Sachin deserves Bharat Ratna
Sachin Tendulkar deserves to be awarded Bharat Ratna by the Central government. His age should not come in the way.

"Sachin Tendulkar and Bharat Ratna"

Sachin must be given Bharat Ratna for his performance.
Ravi Waghle

Gawaskar is closer to Don Bradman
Sachin Tendulkar should not be awarded Bharat Ratna at this stage. The contribution made by Sunil Gavaskar is no less mean. According to Gary Sobers, Sunil Gawaskar is closer to Don Bradman.
Himesh Goswami

No Bharat Ratna for Sachin Tendulkar, as of now !!!
With reference to your Aaj ki Awaaz (4-3-10) about Sachin Tendulkar, I cannot agree with you more! I find there is a growing demand to confer the highest civilian award “Bharat Ratna” on Sachin . One wonders whether this is really the appropriate time for honoring the living legend!
In my opinion (Sorry, Tom Jose, I am a small fry before you), it will be premature to confer the award now. This will, surely distract his focused attention from cricket and might even affect his performance adversely. Let the ‘Master Blaster’ play for the country for as long as he could. Let him achieve many more milestones and bring more and more glory to Mother India! Let his cricketing records remain unbroken for the millennium.
It is only after he takes retirement from cricket that he could be considered for Bharat Ratna for his incredible “Performance” in cricket (and also for his disarming humility of approach) . The country owes him a lot. Incidentally, Gary Sobers, during an interview on NDTV, considered Sunil Gawaskar, the “Little Master”, as being closer to Don Bradman than Sachin. It is hoped the GOI takes a balanced view in the matter with full application of mind, not heart and after taking into consideration the totality of circumstances. Sachin’s inning is not over, yet!
