A delegation of IOOA representatives led by Mukul Kumar , President IOOA met Vilasrao Deshmukh Indian Minister for Heavy Industries in his office in on March 3, 2010. During the meeting highlighted the problems being faced by Indian Oil and other Oil PSUs due to inadequate subsidy being given by Government for selling petroleum products at un-remunerative prices resulting in huge under-recoveries. It was mentioned that due to inadequate profits Corporation’s projects may be affected resulting in serious threat to Oil security. Moreover, despite putting best performance by Corporation and achieving highest MOU ratings our executives are unable to get PRP at the prescribed rates due to unavailability of funds whereas PSUs like ONGC are able to offer much higher quantum of benefits to their executives despite having lower MOU ratings because of funds availability. The delegation led by Sh Mukul Kumar met Milind Deora, MP at his camp office in New Delhi
and conveyed the similar concerns. Milind Deora, MP said that he broadly agreed with our proposition and asserted that he would do whatever possible to help Oil PSU Officers cause.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Now Pawar says Fuel Hike was a joint decision but caveat does remain!!
He did not know the impact of fuel hike on food prices he continues to feign!

Fact of the matter is even a peon in his Ministry knew the impact!!!
But Pawar is feigning ignorance on what is a ‘foregone fact’!!

Sonia says Pranab’s handling of the budget was deft!!!
Did she say deft or deaf????

A little bird says Mohna and Pranab got Sonia’s nod via her dukthi nabaz!!
‘If oil prices are not raised for pro poor schemes Sarkaar will suffer from ‘funds ki kabaz’ (constipation)!

Sonia knows when it comes to food prices matters are out of control!!!
Pawar continues to play his dubious role!!

He’s already started making calls for removing ban on export of Wheat!!
Punjab has already turned on ‘ Punjab farmers will not sow wheat’ heat!!!

Pawar wants the ban lifted as he says there is wheat over production!!
He refuses to see the ominous clouds in the future of farm output reduction!!!!

And in the end India will import wheat at a higher price than it had exported!!
In the past too this ‘gap’ has been reported!!

Sonia does not want the RTI Act amended but surprisingly Mohna wants this!!!
I know many would feel something is amiss!!

Mohna wants CJI and policy decisions to be out of  RTI’s purview!!!
And whether an application is frivolous or not there will be a review!!

RTI was a landmark legislation and now Mohna wants it watered down!!
‘Mohna Ji kyon karr rahe ho with such a landmark legislation clown’???

Or is this all drama baazi and Sonia’s objections are just for us (people)!!!
That is why she’s creating on the amendments a fuss!!

NREGA is leaking and Sarkaar prefers to ignore this leaking!!!
NREGA desperately requires tweaking!!

But rather than tweaking and plugging the leak,
Mohna wants to tweak the RTI….. just see the man’s cheek!!

If Hussein has the right to draw then we have the right to object to anything demeaning in his art!!!
From ‘right to object to anything demeaning in his art’ he wants India to depart!!

Seems he wants a license to draw at will!!!!
And Indians swallow his painted ‘bitter pill’!!

He's been commissioned by Qatar to paint about a 100 paintings on Islam's history!
And if he tries his artistic adventurism like he's done here he'll be history!!

Seems Pronoy Roy and Sardesai were looking forward to a Hussein as a prize!!!
To Hussein’s cause both IBN and NDTV sure did rise!!

Barkha Dutt tactfully chooses participants on the panel to discuss a matter!!!
Usually there is only one 'against her mindset' and the rest karte hai uss ko tatter!

Tendulkar excells in cricket but is this enough for the Nation's highest civil citation?
Okay I do agree we are a cricket crazy Nation!!!

But that does not mean our craziness gets the better of us!!
Arre bhai kahee toh iss cricket craziness ka karro buss!!

Confucius says.... Bharat Ratna is for exemplary service to the Nation!!!!
In fact even the thought of awarding it to Sachin deserves condemnation!!

Adds..... can playing with the bat and ball come in the exemplary class!!
If so then Bharat Ratna's 'halo' ho jaye ga khalaas!!

Bharat Kumar

Sachin and Bharat Ratna
In my view, Sachin deserves the Bharat Ratna for the simple reason he "symbolises the oneness of India." He scores a sixer and people in the North, South, East and West, everywhere, feel delighted. And when he gets out, people in all corners of the country are sad. There is no other living Indian who is as popular and who is accepted as much all over the country by all age groups and by both the sexes.

No Bharat Ratna for Sachin,as of now"?
The GOI will be well advised not to confer Bharat Ratna on Sachin, for the present. Sachin has already earned crores of rupees by playing cricket. Is this not enough?

Bhide is the epitome of integrity
P V Bhide is the epitome of integrity, a by word for intelligence, a beacon light for hard work and a role model for all junior IAS officers. The best Revenue Secretary ever, he deserved to be made Cabinet Secretary. He is the best Cabinet Secretary who never was. His services to the nation must be recognised and fresh, important assignments given to him in the national interest.

Why remove corruption?
Removing corruption will be a wild goose chase. It will be wiser to turn a blind eye to it and be happy!
A K Chaudhry

How to remove corruption?
Removing corruption is impossible. The best solution would be to turn a blind eye to it. Close your eyes, introspect and be happy!
