Aaj Ki Aawaz

Nitish is right when he calls Laloo a 'law breaker'!!
Bihar has produced in the political arena a top notch 'taker'!!

Laloo looted Bihar for 15 years!!!
His possible return must have been for Biharis one of the biggest fears!

Now that it's pretty sure that he's lost it in Bihar!!
Biharis must be breathing easy but what will Laloo do post this 'haar'?????

In Delhi Laloo has already lost his relevance and now in Bihar too!!
Politically after a long time Laloo will have nothing to do!!

He should now retire and let his son take over!!!!
For Laloo seems his political career is over!!

Pranab Da's got too much on his plate!!
So much that he has to ignore his Ministerial work and files just wait!!

He should be seized with fighting inflation and unnatural rise in Rupee!!
He's got enough in his Ministry to be busy like a 'worker bee'!!

Now he's looking into what happened in the Adarsh scam!!
As he has to submit a report to Madam!!

Taking out a few seconds he says ' RBI may increase rates to counter inflation'!!!
Hope he also comments on measures to bring in Rupee's value deflation!!

No don't buy Dollars…. just stop inflows for the time being!!
This option don't know why RBI is not seeing????

Sheila Aunty knows her days are limited!!!
Very soon it'll be said ' CM's post Aunty herself demitted'!!

Despite her best efforts the scum has stuck!!!
Not that she did not try to get the dirt 'unstuck'!!!

Deshmukh says Chavan is to blame!!
Shinde says 'do not include my name'!!

Fact is all these guys have their fingers in the Adarsh cake!!!!
Benaami investments in apartments all three did make!!

Why not throw all these guys out and make a Kargil Memorial out of Adarsh???
Apartments for the Heroes families and Heroes Museum for Heroes who stood up to a Soldiers adarsh!

Approvals were taken on the basis that Adarsh was for Kargil Martyrs survivors benefit!
Do not know how Generals, Admirals , Netas and Bureaucrats in this category did fit!

At one time our Armed Forces had a halo…. no longer abh!
Now it's accepted that 'Soldiers' too are on the take though not sabh (all)!!

Confucius says….. There maybe 1 or 2 exceptions to the rule that Netas ' are on the take'!!
And there are now quite a few exceptions to the rule that Soldiers are not 'on the make'!!

Empanelment of IRS officers to Jt Secy Panel

What a shame? When 1991 IAS is being empanelled the 1982-83 IRS ( Income Tax and Customs, both organized services) is yet to take place. And this is only empanelment? What are the chances of these folks being picked up for actual posting?

Farewell to Sujatha Rao- Secy (H)

It is good that Secretary Health is retiring on 30 Nov. Farewell to Sujatha Rao- Secy (H)
The government of India is well aware of the competency of present Health Secretary. It is hoped the International Organizations who may be considering hiring her- review her role n performance of the last 3 yrs, before rushing to give her an assignment.

Sudhakar

She is excellent and hard working

Sujatha Rao, the present Health Secretary is an excellent and hard working IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. If she insists on having IAS officers head medical institutions as administrators it is with good reason. When doctors are appointed to head medical institutions there is usually a cat and dog fight as one doctor cannot stand another doctor ordering him about. The ego clashes are vicious as happens among academics in universities. Have we forgotten the unseemly clash of egoes between Dr. Ramodoss , the previous Health Minister and Dr. Venugopal the previous Director of AIMS? What a shameful confrontation that was and what great damage that did to the premier institution! I do sympathise with the doctor who writes that they work in intolerable conditions even in the capital city. What then is the state of affairs in the small towns and villages? Unfortunately very many doctors and engineers these days abandon their noble profession and troop into the IAS. The majority of recruits in the IAS nowadays are either MBBS doctors or engineers from the IITs. Earlier they were prohibited from sitting for the IAS and rightly so as it is an enormous waste of national talent. Five years of studying for an MBBS or IIT and then you want to be like Sujatha Rao? You cannot have it both ways.

Sack unprofessional Editors

The Editors of WIC are not doing their duties professionally and the site is claiming they get fat salaries. The personal comments about Ms Sujata Rao, the outgoing Union Health Secretary, are not in good taste. Your site is loosing credibility and dignity. As a senior journalist, how could you permit personal comments against anyone? Sack your unprofessional Editors. They are not fit to be even reporters of small time newspapers.

Forum column getting worse by the day

I am sorry to say that your Forum column is getting worse day by day. It is a becoming trash. It is easy to publish anything favourable to the IAS fraternity and the Government of India. This is what you are doing. You have lost the courage to print views that are in the interest of the country.

CWG scam left behind

So the CWG scam has been left behind. It is the Adarsh Society flat-grabbing by the powerful which is in the news today. How long? Not very long. Next week belongs to Obama. All the TV channels will be telling us how many towels were kept in his bathroom, what did he eat, how was his handshake with our Prime minister. Was it friendly, patronising or neutral. In the meanwhile the scam will be forgotten. The Government has found a very simple way of skirting the action against the corrupt. Appoint a committee. While Shunglu looks into the CWG mess, the Mumbai Adarsh Society Scam will be looked into by the Finance minister and the Defence Minister. One is foxed by the need to have an enquiry when the facts speak for themselves. Why not punish the culprit? It is precisely to avoid that the committee is appointed. Postpone the decision for the time being. Soon public and the media will forget and the culprits go free. We Indians are made fools by our rulers most of the time.
