WHISPERS' IMPACT
'Whispers' on our website whispersinthecorridors.com are taken very seriously by the Government, which takes adequate steps to plug loopholes or shortcomings in policy matters, if any. The investigations into the 2G spectrum Scam and role of a lobbyist, that is under scanner is an ample proof of the impact of whispersinthecorridors.com. A small news item published on our web site earlier about the lobbyist caught the attention of the government. While the news item did not name the industrial house or the lobbyist, the investigating agencies still took cognizance of the news item and started the investigations into it, which is on record now.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Sonia Madam Ji breathed brimstone and fire!!!
Reminded BJP it went after Mohna in 2004 and result for BJP was dire!!

Well seems she forgot this and went hammer and tongs after Nitish Kumar!!
Result…. Bihar election mein Congress ko padh gayi maar!!

And if Ma and Beta have not learnt a lesson then Congress will face more maar!
Maar meaning election mein haar!!

Indians now have moved on and Bihar shows Voters want their reps to perform!!
Till a few years back making promises at election time and then forgetting was the norm!

Modi, Nitish, Raman are performers and Public has returned them to power!
Yes as performers amongst CMs they tower!

Alas had Sonia and her dear Beta been positive in their campaigning!!!
Today 'Congress is starting from scratch in Bihar' they would not be feigning!!

Imagine going to Bihar and telling the voter to feel bad!!
Well if this us how he plans to 'make it' then I pity the lad (Rahul)!!!

Nitish's good work has touched Biharis and nothing beats 'what is felt'!!!
Biharis felt that with 'wrong allegations' Nitish ko Rahul karr raha hai 'pelt'!!

Post Bihar results you have Badal Senior saying Akalis will do a Nitish repeat!
Whereas he should be thankful if in the next election he can save his own seat!!

He has Amrinder breathing down his neck and Manpreet out to woo the Akali Voter!!
That is why chances of Sukhbir taking over now are becoming remoter and remoter!!

Badal is a classical example of the politics that India's voters now want to shun!!!
And then he like many Netas is fixated with handing the reigns to his son!!

Now Indians want to do away with beti and beta- waad!!
Indians do not feel 'you are qualified to take over just because you are Netaji ki aulaad'!

This parachuting to the top!!
Indians want this to stop!!

They want Netas kids to also work their way up!!!
Just because he is Sonia's son at the head table in PM's banquet for Obama Rahul got to sup!!!

Sonia may not like what I am saying!!!
She may even say 'what's he braying'!!!

But sooner than later this feeling will become a wave and a tsunami for Netas!!!!
Public will put an end to this parachuting to the top by Netas betis and betas!!

Confucius says..... Bihar has shown that the Indian Voter has matured!!!!
And this means some of the malidies afflicting the Indian poltical establishment could get cured!!

Shameless journalists !

Since India's Independence and in my journalist career of 50 years I have never seen so much anger against journalists like in past few days. Net is flooded with news articles and facebook pages against Veer Sanghvi, Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Serdesai etc. Nation (India) is being shamed. Your site is perhaps the only site who does not shy away from publishing the truth. Jai Hind. Jai WIC.

Coterie with all lies on NDTV shows

Mohana is honest but what is the status of loss to exchequer because of scams known and unknown? Swiss bank deposits from Indians amounts to Rs. 280 lac crs as revealed by a director of Swiss bank. SMS is going round the country. Congress and Mohana are responsible for the loss to the nation. They are accountable for all corrupt activities. Shameful for them to continue to rule India. Radia tapes clearly reveals the role of Barkha Dutt and Vir singhvi and Suhel Seth. The coterie with all lies on NDTV shows. Media should be investigated in public by SC appointed commissioner

Venkat

Stop abetting corruption

All political parties and the bureaucracy should read the mood of the nation. Recent events show that the people want serious efforts to root out corruption, development without reference to caste religion and region and good governance. People are fed up of self seeking politicians who exploit differences to feather their own nests and are looking for 'a few good men' like Nitish Kumar who have the state and country's interests at heart. The Congress, the BJP and others should recognize the signs and change their strategies. The bureaucracy too should stop abetting corrupt politicians and stand up for what is right.

S Swarup

Media's hall of Shame !

One wonders whether the two celebrity journalists ( Barkha Dutt and Vir Singhvi) represent the Fourth Estate or the Real Estate ? Their reported nexus with Nira Radia reveals the paradigm shift that the Ethics has undergone during the past few years in the field of Journalism. Journalistic ethics need to be redefined. Several journos, it is understood, are on the pay roll of big corporate houses. Others get freebies including foreign junkets. The contents of the Radia tapes are incredibly depressing. How meekly were Burkha Dutt and Vir Singhvi taking dictations from Nira Radia, a suspect in 2G scam ? I am amazed and upset at the same time. The two journalists have gone down in my esteem. Some criminals masquerading as journos are allegedly having connections with the under world. The media is not totally independent. It is remote-controlled by infamous people whose credentials are under the cloud. The Government of India encourages committed journalists who are accredited to it. The pliable journos are allotted government bungalows at reasonable rents. I thought the media aims at shaping the minds of people. But the ground realities quite are different. Unless, a self regulatory mechanism is consensually evolved by the Press Council of India, the media persons could pose a grave threat to the gullible society. While a silent majority of journos are committed to the profession, others are blackmailers and pseudo intellectuals with clear political agenda. The denial of contents of Radia tapes by two media celebrities as misrepresentation of conversations is a natural reaction . It is meaningless and liable to be thrown into the dust-bins.

A K Saxena ( A retired civil servant)

Media media nexus

Just as politicians shield politicians and IAS when it suits each other, similarly media people save media. This is why no media person is exposing Barkha Datt in 2G scandal.

Sanjiv Singh

Withdraw awards given to Barkha Dutt

All awards given to Barkha Dutt so far should be taken away for bringing disgrace to the profession and the nation.

Virika

Investigate the nexus of media in 2-G spectrum

2-G spectrum. the nexus of the media people needs to be investigated. nobody, no news agencies are reporting on the media baron burkha dat clandestine role. wah media lobby. This is time to check and screw the media also.

Ashu Kumar

Shocking and alarming

Corruption has become news these days though it was Spread everywhere since last many years. The clique between IAS and politicians is shocking and alarming. All important posts are occupied by IAS officers to serve the purpose and is facilitated by so called empanelment process that is undemocratic, unethical and suppresses merit else where in the Government and country. They all are part of the loot. If there is any IAS officer who has not amassed crores within 15 years of his service I salute him. But the most worrying thing is that these corrupt officers know that whatever they do, nothing can happen to them and they have the birth right to occupy the highest civil service position in the Government. Long Live Zamindari in different but subtle form.

Mohan

Treat both services at par

The same provision should be made applicable to the CSSS also as both services are at par. The problem of CSSS officers at the level of Sr PPS and PPS is far more acute than in CSS because the Secretaries and Additional Secretaries approach Secretary DOPT for retaining their PPS and Sr PPS throwing the rotational transfer policy out of the window. Through your esteemed column, this is to request Secretary DOPT to please ensure the same treatment to CSSS Sr PPSs and PPS(promotion to this level is due in a day or two) and not to entertain requests from her colleagues etc for retention etc. Thanks

Why Sonia and Rahul don't understand Aaam Aadmi's pain?

The latest results of Bihar has shown that helicopter and other travelling kits never assure the increase in the results. Why Sonia and Rahul don't understand that the poor man also eats roti and understands the gestures of almost all politicians. Don't the politicians understand that what their parents and grand parents did was their compulsion as they do not have other job. Why they try to cash in for the name of Nehru Gandhi. In reality this is Burjuwa democracy having a lot of ji hajoori in the blood of Bharatwasi. The reality is 2000 miles away from these politicians. Rahul had never tried to listen the rural people who eat polluted things and are dying unnatural deaths. Has he ever shown concern for those who make duplicate/quadruplicate things for eating. The price is another question but subzis are contaminated and Rahul is not worried. Why he also thinks about vote bank. People will be happy if he leaves his MP seat/general secretary Congress post for 10 years and work among people and remove corruption and this poisoning of food items. That's all if he can do it. Seva Parmo Dharam. Leave the chair for his mother or Dr Manmohan Singh and serve the people. Why go after election stunts.
The 62 years as age limit is another demand of government servants who have been betrayed by this UPA government. Why people do not understand this. People enter in the services at 30 or 35 and when they are ripe for doing good work, they are shown the door. Then the government weeps about the shortage of staff. The onus lies on the UPA government and so is the further election results. The party who works will get the votes.

Kunwar Ramsumiran

Narayanaswamy will bring laurels

An upright and impartial officer, Narayanaswamy will bring prestige to this assignment. I wish him all the best. Considering the empathy with which the bureaucracy and the politicians treat the public, he will have basket full of public grievances and I am sure he would deliver the goods.

Satya Singal

Let national BJP leaders prove their might

BJP natioanl leaders have to introspect themselves about their abilities. Leaders like Sushma Swaraj, Jaitley, Gadkari etc are unable even to win election and get 25 of their MLAs win from their respective state. They have no stand among their own people in their own state. Just because of their nearness to the Delhi, media, socialite, social butterflies , they are nationally projected leaders and so by the virtue they meddle in the political upheavels of different states like UP, Gujarat, Karnataka etc.
The leaders from Gujarat, Karnataka etc have shown their leadership by winning. How dare the national leaders are poking their nose in changing the CMs. Let national leader prove themselves in their constituency and state and then try to mend others . Now its better to mend themselves.
