Aaj Ki Aawaz

An American Agency has done 'homework for Obama's trip'!!!
Now its being said that Obama has info with which Indian Netas he can 'strip'!!!

He has a dossier that contains investments of Indian Netas overseas!!!
Many Netas would be now suffering from 'knocking knees'!!

Will he present the info to Mohna or release it to the Media????
Or just give the info to Wikipedia!!!

If he hands info to Mohna only non Congress Netas will be probed!!!!
Info will be used to get political opponents of Congress disrobed!!

Or maybe Obama is sending a message to India's polity ' fall in line'!!!
'Obey my diktat and all will be fine'!!!

Kalmadi makes it a point to visit Adarsh every day!!
And everyday outside Adarsh his respects by bowing his head he does pay!!

After all the Adarsh scam and pushed the CWG scam out of Public glare!!
And Kalmadi hopes and prays more on Adarsh Media is able to bare!!

Sheila, Reddy and Gill too are thankful to the Adarsh scam!!!
They feel now CWG scum is no longer on the mind of Madam!!!

Congress is in no mood to discuss the scams in the ongoing AICC meet!!!
In this meet its chaati on so called Hindu terror Congress karr rahi hai beat!!

Inflation, Pawar's misdeeds, 2G, CWG and Adarsh scams will not be discussed!!!
Yes RSS, BJP and especially Modi will be cussed!

The Environment Mantri who cleared Adarsh was Baalu!!
Who many term because of his haymaking and brash attitude as TN's Laloo!!

Be it Balu or Raja we all know who gets the share de lion or sher????
In TN Karuna cuts the cake and then chooses his 'share'!!

In Bihar Rahul asked Biharis to ask Nitish where all the money Mohna sent went???
Nitish says Rahul needs to first run a State before as PM into PMO he's sent!!

The delivery of Central funds is better in Bihar that many Congress ruled States!!!
This is what the record states!!!

In fact Nitish has beaten the estimate of Rahul's Dad that only 6 paisa reaches goal!!
Because from sender to goal there is one hole after another hole!!

En route the holes swallow up 94%!!!
Which means Rs. 94 are lost in every Rs. 100 sent!!

Lord Swaraj Paul has shown 'enough is not enough'!!!!
Or are his businesses down and he's going through a patch that's rough????

Why should a man with so much money stoop to 'fudging expenses'????
Seems greed made Lordy Pauly go out of his senses!

Confucius says…… Greed makes people dishonest!!
The ability to say 'no' is the first step to turning honest!

Flash..... Sonia says her job is tough!!!!
Hearing her say this Mohna started to cough!!!

He must have thought ' if her job is tough mine is impossible'!
And Sonia expects Mohna to make the impossible possible!!

Rahul said ' the two Indias have to keep pace with each other'!!
Two Indias are a paradox and cannot move together!!

Rahul says Mohna's on the right path to tackle this paradox!
Mohna wants subsidies to become history so Rahul's statement does fox!!

Ours is a hybrid feudalistic democracy with worst of both

King is still supreme and unquestionable but without any responsibility. Only change is that we have a 'high command' instead, who rules over with a convenient mask as PM and there are a coterie of rootless psychophants around, who will growl and bite at any one making any uncharitable comment. Has any body thought about how Quottrochi escaped with his ill gotten loot or how Laloo after allegedly defrauding poor cattle of millions in the fodder scam is still a freeman. Has any body thought how a man like A. Raja accused of defrauding the nation over 2000 crores is still a cabinet minister. Has any body read Ms. Albert's book 'State with in State' where in it was stated an Ex PM of India and his family pocketed 2 billion dollars from KGB and put it into Swiss accounts or The Mitrokhin Archive II papers alleging payments to Congress and CPI politicians during the Indira Gandhi era ? Do we know why a majority of visual channels give a canine like loyality to the 'High Command'? Do we know why a charge sheeted man was made the CVC, cocking a snook at every body? Do any one know why our Government is pussy footing in asking the Swiss authorities to divulge the account details. Even if President Obama brings the list, it will remain in the safe custody of the 'High Command'.
'High Command frowns at Kalmadi' and 'High Command angry with Chavan' etc are all charades publicized by a fawning press to dupe gullible and uneducated public. Kalmadi and Chavan are just foot soldiers. And nothing is going to happen to them with any enquiry.
Every one knows the damage corruption is doing to our nation. If it is continued our democracy itself will be in peril. We can not eradicate it by setting some convenient enquiry commissions by the Government, since Government itself is subservient to the 'High Command' or a few toothless Lok Ayuktas catching hold of some errant peons and chaprasis.
There is an urgent need for amending the laws and corruption should be declared as a war against the Nation punishable even with death. A truth commission should be formed with eminent jurists as members to go into various corruption cases. And it should start from the 'High Command'. In the present circumstances, only our President can do it. But the question is whether she will do it since her position itself is a gift from the "high Command'.

Serial crimes: CWG scam and now Mumbai Flat, land scams! What next?

The speed at which the skeletons are tumbling out of the cupboards (Mumbai flat scam and illegal allotment of land scam are the latest) combined with lack of political will, the CBI may not be able to undertake the investigations of series of scams with the seriousness they deserve particularly when a large number of posts are lying vacant in the organization.
Not a single FIR has been filed, till date, against those, prima facie, found guilty. Worse, due to overlapping jurisdictions, there is a tussle among investigative agencies( CBI v/s income tax deptt) about the custody of seized records. Instead of resolving the problem. the Cabinet Secretary gave priority to "thanks giving". The public is interested in speedy investigations into these scams followed by presentation of charge sheets in the designated fast track court on counts of corruption, criminal conspiracy and actions taken against those found guilty.
Against this background, the hosting of "Thanks-giving" party by the Cabinet Secretary to honor VIPs of CWG mess was not in good taste. Besides, this reflected government's insensitivity towards public sentiments. It was like rubbing salts into the wounds of Aam Aadmi. One wonders whether, under the present dispensation, it would ever be possible to punish those found guilty in CWG scam when the control over investigative agencies lies with the Central Government. There is a silver lining. Truth cannot be suppressed. It will hit hard sooner than later!

A K Saxena (A retired civil servant)

She's not required

I sincerely pray she does not land with any job post retirement. By her actively pursuing biased policy of bringing in IAS she has just delayed the setting up of AIIMS. I wish my prayers/curse come true.

Anomaly being corrected

Members of the 1990 batch of the IAS are actually Joint Secretaries and the 1982 batch of the IRS is being empanelled as Joint Secretaries. It is only now that this anomaly is being corrected. The current Cabinet Secretary is to be thanked for meeting the legitimate aspirations of the IRS.

Illegal OM

If the Supreme Court has not ordered for the disclosure of the ACR with retrospective effect, why has the DoPT issued such an illegal OM ? Should they not suo-motu amend it in the interest of the government servants? Can you take up the matter on behalf of all government servants before the Secretary personnel, DoPT?
