congratulations for maintaining a great portal of information of and about the public service. Even though most news about me posted on your site proved to be wrong, I consider your web page as one of the most authentic source for what is happening in the Government sector. Good you have also added a section on Corporate affairs, but your Government portal shall remain the best. I want to use this opportunity to thank you and to convey my appreciation for the wonderful work being done by you.

Aaj Ki Aawaz
Nations are closing gates to money that is termed as cheap!!
But surprisingly to this money open the gate India does keep!!

Pranab Da has his own take on these cheap inflows!!
And this money will rush out once the bull-run slows!!

In the mean time Indian exports will take a hit!!
As on 'easy come easy go money' the Indian Rupee doth sit!!

Indian Rupee's true value experts say is 47 versus the Dollar!!
But because of huge inflows Indian Rupee has got the Dollar by its collar!!

Congress will not sack Bhardwaj ….. inside info!!
Though factually overboard Bhardwaj did go!!

He showed bias and then showed that in judgement he was lacking!!
Two reasons that cry out for his sacking!!

But he's a Gandhi family poojari and so he'll be given a reprieve!!!
Though if the man had any sharam he'd pack his bags and leave!!

They say Yeddy has been told to mend his ways!!
Or he's been warned ….. numbered are your CM days!!

But then power makes people go berserk and Yeddy is a classical example!!
On propriety the man shamelessly did and will continue to trample!!

As he got up to speak during the closing ceremony Kalmadi got booed!!!
And do keep in mind OC had made arrangements that boos get shooed!!

Taking a page from Aunty Sheila's book he too had mobilized crowds on rent!
With free tickets, out of pocket expenses and rent fee rented crowds were sent!!

Seems the anti Kalmadi sentiment had grown and hurrays for him were drowned!
By the anti sentiment booing sound!!

Now they say the investigation to CWG gupplas will start!!!
Will not be easy as these guys are guppla artistes and damn good at their art!!

And then Congress has the strings of Investigative Agencies (IA) in its hand!!!!
The can full of worms that have been opened may be dutifully by IA again canned!!

They say a Lady could be CBI's next Boss!!!
Another 'only Male post up to now' ka loss!!

CBI Boss choice is taken by the one who 'runs the show'!!
And who runs the show now we all do know!!

This Lady from TN is close to 10 Janpath!!!!
And motion will be set in process once she's given 'loyalty to 10 Janpath ki shapat'!

Confucius says…….when investigation is replaced with 'biased invention'!!
Instad of culprits Justice ends up 'under detention'!!

Flash..... when it comes to being unsporting Aussies are the worst!!
In list of unsporting Nations Australia comes first!!

Aussie athletes did well in the Games but loss in cricket brought their unsporting nature to the fore!!
And they damaged electrical fittings and upholstery their tore!!

India faced a humiliating defeat of 8-0 in hockey with a brave face!!Even in loss we showed grace!!

Alarmed by the reports some senior judges headed by the CJP met late on Thursday night and in a decision taken around midnight referred the matter to a 17 member bench headed by the CJ. During the hearing by the bench on 15th Oct the Attorney General denied any such move but failed to give a written assurance to the court. The bench there upon passed an order restraining the President, the PM' and all other functionaries of the government dealing with such matters from issuing any order resulting in removal of any of the judges'. The order further warned all concerned that any such action shall be unconstitutional and amount to high treason. A copy of thee order was directed to be immediately served to all concerned to make them aware of the consequences of any such move. Excellent work by Kapil Sibal
1. Granting autonomy to IIMs to select thier own Board Members is a great step
2. Allowing IIMs to use self generated funds to remunerate emplyoees is another revolutionary step.
3. Today 90% of bureaucrats are either inefficient or corrupt or both.
4. If Government allows bureaucrats to join private sector for 3 years at a time , efficient bureaucrats can earn high income and avoid temptation of corruption.
4. However such step will face resistance from dead wood in bureaucracy as they cant get a job outside and they will hate their colleagues getting high salary in pvt sector.
5. I hope the PM and cabinet secretary heed to this advice which can lead to huge gain in efficiency and honesty in bureaucracy.

Plight of Steno Gr.'D' in the GOI.

It is very unfortunate that Gr.'D' Stenographer of 1983 batch got his first regular promotion in 2007, i.e. after 25 years of his/her sincere and dedicated service in the GOI whereas UDC of CSS (UDC and Steno Gr.'D' are in the same scale in the GOI) of 1992 batch got his/her first promotion as Assistant in 2003. The person working in CSSS as Grade 'D' Stenographer, who is senior of 9 years of UDC of CSS actually promoted after 13 years as compared to UDC of CSS. DOPT being the cadre controlling authority in both the cases does not even bother the plight of the CSSS, especially Gr.D Stenographers of 1983 batch. I on behalf of the whole of Gr.D Stenographers of CSSS request the DOPT to look into it while restructuring the CSSS in near future and give at least two regular promotions to those who have suffered a lot in the past.

Think or the things would collapse !

You are right that the government has shown the foresight in cutting the size of bureaucracy and banking workers but failed to cultivate the prospective officers who will man police and administrative services. The grapevine you can see for few but in fact government need the staff for more 2 or 3 years otherwise it is going to collapse in 2012 itself as retirement in 2010 and 2011 is too much. The IAS/IPS or financial field people including those in the secretariat services are no commoners or need any judgement for asking for raise in the age of retirement. There are 1256 IAS, 1156 IPS, 40,000 banking and 4654 people in the secretariat. Will the extensions on personal posts having some other criteria that needs not be taken into consideration. Even if you hold special examination for recruiting IPS from the paramilitary force is a welcome step. But for the present situation which will halt the administration is the increase in retirement age from 60 to 62 years. Some people including politicians back the new generation but they can go on inducting them and they may be ready sometime after 5 years. Say we can get new breed after 5 years. The foresight is necessary for Mohana
