Aaj Ki Aawaz

' For US India is indispensable' is what the US Ambassador says!
US's mischievous ways!!

India is indispensable and Pakistan is vital…. word play at play!!
A very devious game US does play!!

The oldest democracy largest Democracy ka banaa rahi hai fool!!
Basically on both India and Pakistan US wants to tacitly rule!!

Obama will link outsourcing to India opening up!!
Or Obama is going to warn for Indian outsourced Companies 'time is up'!

Yes there will be back- slapping and mutual admiration but that'll be skin deep!
But if Mohna caves price that India will pay will be steep!!

Keeping with his business agenda Obama would like a re-look at a Bill!!!
This Bill has caused a chill!!

It's the Nuclear Civil Liability Bill!!!
And Obama would like that Mohna 'sweeten this bitter pill'!!

Seems post Obama's visit there will be cause for celebration for Uncle Sam!!!!!
And it'll be because Obama would put India into a jam!!

I feel prior to Obama's visit Mohna should be sworn in again!!!
Addition to the standard oath 'to ensure that at India's expense no Country will be allowed to gain'!

Its raining raids but Kalmadi is 'raid proof'…. though he's underground!!
In his Office and haunts he's not to be found!!

Maybe he and Lalit Modi are exchanging notes on 'how to rake it in and then get away'!!
Peas of a pod many would say!!

Both are good organizers but both are better at scamming!!!
And also both are good at 'innocence shamming'!!

On subsidies Badal Junior has unexpected support…. Amrinder Aashiq Singh!!!
Though in aashqi Badal Junior can teach him 'something'!!

Manpreet Badal is now waiting for the next State Poll!!!
To form a Akali Dal (M) or Akali Dal (Mutineers) is his goal!!

Muntineers from SAD and Congress will be welcome!!!
Ads will say ' If you have not got a ticket from your Party into AD (M) please do come'!

At best he hopes to be a king maker post the next poll!!!
His calculation is both Akali/BJP and Congress in seats will be koll koll (near)!

Mohna met Wen…. and to put it frankly there was forced cordiality!!
Mohna had a tough time being conrdial but for such cordiality Chinese have a natural ability!!

Both Leaders shook hands and then did apni apni fingers ka count!!!!!
And then their high horses both did mount!!

Confucius says…. India should never trust China!!!!
While dealing with China India needs to keep one eye on the rear aeena (rear mirror)!!

Governance goes to dogs in Rlys.

Railway has promoted at least 24 officers more than the sanctioned posts. SAG officers working in zones are regularly sent on leave to accommodate these excess officers. Every month the incumbent of the post is changed and governance has gone to dogs.

Inclusive growth must to sustain economic growth

If we can't achieve inclusive growth, we cant sustain the economic growth achieved. More and more poor are joining the maoists/ fundamentalists. They can destroy all our growth. Rightly Gandhiji has told if a society fails to help the many who are poor, it cant save the few who are rich. Now it is in the interest of rich and the babus who wants to have a peaceful life to come forward to help the poor. It is irony that late Rajiv gandhi had visualised that 15% of the developmental fund is reaching the beneficiaries and rest eaten by babus. After such an important personality realising such situation, have we made any
effort to change the situation. Then at what level the realization should come. The Govt. is busy collecting the utilisation certificate without bothering for how the money was spent and what benefit is derived from such spending. Govt. should impose exemplary punishment on earring officers sothat it would have a deterrent effect on others. It is time to have a serious thought otherwise we will loose control on the society and it will be ruled by deprived people by joining anti socials.

The leadership of Shrimati Mamta Banerji needs to be appreciated in
this regard. As sponsors Rly contributed handsomely to the cause !

Why single out doctors?

A lot of comments are there these days on the plight of doctors. There have been complaints as if the doctors are the most noble and infallible professionals and all others are corruption prone beings. Well any visit to the government hospitals will bring out the truth. I have seen doctors demanding money to conduct postmortems timely. The instruments vanishing from operation theatres can be controlled none else but by the surgeons themselves. Yes there are
genuine doctors but so are other genuine people in services also. Please don't crib about administrative control. As far as threat of brain drain is concerned let me tell you its an old tail. We should be thankful that India has provided us jobs near to our homes. At least, it is better than being beaten on the streets of Australia for being Indian.

Sunil

This is totally incorrect

I really don't know where you get your information from. There have been several non-IAS officers who have worked as AS and Secrtary in GoI. GN Tondon fom ICAS was AS - Expenditure, RR Gupta was both AS and Secretary Expenditure- several
IAAS officers worked as AS Budget.

Suhas Joshi

Are we on the way to become a banana republic?

Everyday we wake up to a new scam. IPL was overshadowed by Telecom Scam, which was replaced by CWG scam and now the latest budge is being created by Adarsh Society scam. What is more disturbing is the fact that every institution worth its name be it Army, Judiciary, civil services etc are now being dragged into the sphere which was an exclusive reserve of our politicians and some bureaucrats previously.

Curb corruption

Pendency in the courts is maximum due to lack of sufficient interest to work at presiding officers' level. An aggressive approach is desired from the courts to keep things in order. The trust of masses in the delivery of justice up to District level courts is very poor. Rank and file are dismayed of contempt of court but it needs introspection at the level of presiding officers. Pendency to the tune of 300 lacs cases is not appreciated at all.
The working at the level of BCI is also under question mark. Very soon you will find Sibbal sahib has to think to review the working of BCI on the same lines as that of AICTE. I request every citizen to take a pledge to curb out corruption of any form at any place where ever it's possible to do.

Bharat

Thank god, she is retiring soon

Sujata Rao is the most immature person ever to handle such a key assignment like the secretary of health. She had created so much mess during her tenure as the DG - National Aids Control Organisation that things which could be done for Rs. 100 were being done for Rs. 5000. She is not corrupt but surely very arrogant and immature. She hardly listens to any one and she thinks the whole wisdom of universe rests on her head and she is the chosen one by the God. Her subordinates cry and gasp for breath as being a spinster. Thank god she is retiring soon.

Anil Singh

A good start

It is a good start, though belated. This will bring in varied experience and will remove the justified grievance of the other services which had been given a short shrift at the instance of vested interests. On the flip side this will bring in healthy competition which should result in better and efficient governance.
