Aaj Ki Aawaz

MS Gill wnet prepared to give Mohna a Power Point Presentation!!
Mohna snubbed him and told him stop making a budhu of the Nation!!!

On MS Gill Mohna spewed brimstone and fire!!!
But from his job Gill ko nahi kiya Mohna ne fire!!

In actuality Mohna is saving apne aap ko!!!
If he sacked Gill then when calls are made for his resignation how will he say no???

Because without a doubt Mohna is responsible for not taking timely action!!
Yes that’s a different matter that his hand was forced ‘into inaction’!!

Mohna pulled up Reddy too!!!
And Reddy just started to ‘boo- hoo’!!

News Channels say Kalmadi has been sidelined or shooed away!!!
He is still in command by his presence with Fennel is what TV bytes say!!

Joker MS Gill and Shiela Aunty too have played macabre roles!!
Their arguments are full of holes!!

Gill as Sports Minister was irresponsible and politicked!!!
But during the CWG Debate he did a turnaround and his ‘spit he licked’!!

He did a ‘thook ke chaatna’ act  during the CWG debate!!
And from detractor he became OC’s mate!!

Shiela Aunty has shown her naivety!!
By trying to underplay the ‘fallen bridge’ ki gravity!!

Without a doubt Shiela Aunty has many ‘skewers in the fire’!!!
In a ghoos controversy ho sakthi hai Aunty mire!!

Because Kalmadi and gang will try to distract by making others stand in the dock!
The ‘blackened pot blackened pan ko karre ga mock’!!

It’ll be sad if for the CWG mess some lowly Officials are made to pay!!!
‘The big fish always get away’ they say!!

Mohna may apologize to the Nation like he did for 1984 genocide!!!
Till dark clouds of CWG do not pass Sonia will continue to hide!!!

Kalmadi is either a very good actor or he knows he cannot be touched!!
Because by his body language its clear that he’s not worried or you can say 'untouched'!!

Rahul said becoming PM was no big deal!!
And now ‘Ayodhaya is not a big deal’ Rahul does feel!!

Well he knows the Judgement that’s going to be pronounced!!!
Or politically in Mama’s lap he’s still being bounced!!

Ayodhaya has the potential of causing turmoil!!!
Either way the blood of Hindus or Muslims will boil!!

So maybe he knows the Court will resort to ‘sitting on the fence’!!!
And that is why he’s not tense!!

Confucius says…..Either Party can refuse to obey the Court’s order!!
After all PM of India disobeyed SC’s distribute free grains diktat and SC was left shouting ‘order… order’ (idea of a dear reader)!!

Adds... PM has shown by example that the Highest Court's order need not be followed!!
Till now the feeling was whatever the SC doled out had to be swallowed!

Unfortunate

It is unfortunate that in-spite of Minister Jairam Ramesh’s best efforts, dynamic leadership and promise to the scientific community the appointment of Director General, ICFRE, the only council in the field of Forest and Environment could not take place. The post of Director General is lying vacant since last more than one year. The fact behind the scene is best known to Director General of Forests and S.S. MoEF.

He is the best

Dr Anup Pujari (Ph D, Boston) the new DGFT, an IAS officer from Karnataka cadre (1980) is known to be a man of great erudition, integrity and humanity. A simple man, one who will pursue excellence but not give up the humane approach while doing so, Dr Pujari brings past experience and fresh perspective simultaneously to the job. The best and brightest IAS officer of his batch and the brightest jewel in the entire Karnataka cadre of the IAS, he deserves the post. A trained economist and administrator of vast experience, he will be the greatest asset in the Commerce Minister's team.

All are responsible for CWG mess

Only Kalmadi should not be make a scapegoat as all top guns seem to hand-in-glove so far as CWG is concerned.

Madhukar Sharma

A small hammer was enough !
Tell me which country forms a GOM and deputes 20 IAS Officers & still nothing moves, then hands over charge to the Chief minister of delhi, who handpicks 40 honest, hard working DANIKS officers whom it had hitherto relegated to non lucrative posts but who are remembered only in a crises, to manage CWG village, then employs the army, navy, airforce resources & personnel, the central para military forces and the entire might of the Government of India & then holds the Commonwealth games which is successfully completed pats its back & says it is an achievement. If you use a big bull dozer to kill a fly what is so great about it?

Dual policy of PM

Supreme Court has no right to order US (Prime Minister Manmohan Singh) to distribute food grains among the Poor (PM Manmohan Singh's first Face). People should follow the order of the Court regarding Ayodhya Temple (PM Manmohan Singh's second FACE). Why we should obey our PM if our PM does not OBEY the order of the Apex Court of India?

Autonomy for Kashmir

I fully support the comments that rights of Kashmiri Pandits (displaced from their birthplace) should be one of the important agenda items for any autonomy talk for Kashmir. It is really astonishing that not a single separatist leader (be it Geelani, Mulla Umar Farook, Mehbooba Mufti) remembered their displaced brethren while discussing Kashmir with All-Party delegates. It appears for leaders like them only people from their own community deserve right to life (if not their vested interests alone), and others do not deserve any fundamental rights in Kashmir. Even the leaders of the delegation, which I would rather call ‘ill-party delegation’, did not think about the displaced pundits, so as to discuss their plight with those separatist leaders. Had they gone there only to appease muslims? How long would they fool aam-admi? It is high time that all responsible citizens of India, including those from Kashmir, irrespective of caste and community, denounce vehemently the hypocrite politicians (who no more deserve to be termed as ‘leaders’). Through this forum, it is, therefore, my fervent appeal to decision makers that “rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits first in Kashmir” should at least be placed at Agenda No.2 of any talks on giving autonomy to Kashmir or giving more rights to kashmiris.

The government is considering the raise in age limit of all central govt officers from 60 to 62 years. It is only for officers.

Really appalling

I am appalled at the decision of the LDF Government in Kerala to give 5 lakhs to Pakistan as flood relief. When such inter country relief is done at central level and Indian Government has already announced a huge relief ,what was the necessity of a financially starved state government that thrives on liquor and lottery sales incomes, to announce such a relief from the tax payer’s money. It should be noted that Pakistan has refused to take any relief directly from India and India in all magnanimity had to route it through UN. The Communist’s thinking that it can thus garner all the Muslim votes in the coming Panchayat elections is an insult to any patriotic Muslim. It is an example of our communists, having their ideology dumped in the dust bin of history world over, depending on total communalism for survival in India under the garb of a secularism. Their ‘Kairali’ Channel is also broadcasting daily, scenes from Babri Mosque demolition, to provoke Muslims.

Has the Government forgotten Kashmir & Kashmiris?

Separatists, stone pelters, Muftis, Kazis, imams, All party delegation, Government of India and the people of India--all seem to have just forgotten the Kashmir occupied by Pakistan and the Kashmiris living there made prisoners! No information flows about them--whether people there are being brutalized, raped, murdered or converted by putting the gun on their head! The separatists must also talk about the Kashmiris imprisoned by Pakistan: are they free to express themselves as openly as the people in J&K? Is life a burning hell for them or as rosy as portrayed by the propaganda machinery of the ISI? Has the international community ever cared to find out the real plight of the captured Kashmiris in POK? Has the UNO ever taken stock of the serious violations of the human rights in POK? Even in rest of Pakistan, human rights are not available: do the Pakistanese treat women as equal partners? Benazir was eliminated because she was a woman and Pakistan can not run its government under a woman Prime Minister! All the terror trail, trained by the ISI, comprises conscripted youth from POK and mercenaries only! The youth from Punjab area of Pakistan have not been offered as suicide squads, for that would have changed the methods of ISI functioning in no time. But poor, brutalized, harassed, hungry, isolated, imprisoned Kashmiris in POK can be sacrificed without any fear of reprisal from their poor parents. What is the number of Kashmiris from POK occupying top military, civil, judicial & political offices in Pakistan. Not even one prominent figure. Why? Because Pakistan fears that such prominent people shall bring about peace and prosperity to the entire Kashmir, ending the Pak occupation of an Indian state. Pakistan is afraid of the Kashmiris because it has inflicted so much atrocities on them that the misdeeds of the Pak Army in East Pakistan (mass scale rapes, torture, murders, loot in 1971) turn pale in comparison!!! The all party delegation should have talked all these things in detail with the Pak employed stone pelters. Omar Abdullah belongs to the new generation & knowledge society. He has personal knowledge of the special treatment of all the people of J&K in India and the pitiable plight of the Kashmiris in POK, and therefore should tell the people about these matters, rather than submitting his resignation only to the utmost delight of Mehbooba Mufti! No petty politicians should be included in Government Of India delegation, for they know not what they are talking. They want to win state assembly elections , unmindful of the misery of the Kashmir people by their irresponsible statements. The Government Of India should make public all the information on Kashmir since 1945 onwards for people to educate themselves about the subject and also take proper measures to strengthen the political structure in J&K. It should also educate the people on the plight of the Kashmiris in POK regularly. The Kashmiri Pandits and all other segments must be rehabilitated in Kashmir and Rule Of Law should be established in the state. We can't make a CWG 2010 of Kashmir, and make our moves leisurely!

It is not hard fast

I do not agree that only insiders should be in the Director Board of IOC. The last Chairman was an outsider. He had to suffer due to the actions of a previous Director Marketing who is an insider and reigned at a critical time and retired about ten years back. He was demoted as ED just days(due to corruption charges) before his retirement. He has brought up a bunch on non-incompoops who are now Executive Directors. Jaipur accident and officer's strike are due to the incompetence of these officers. To select Board members from these worthies will do the company immeasurable harm. IOC should have policy of recruiting persons from out side as GMs and EDs also to the Board. As far as Chairman is concerned they should bring in a competent IAS officer. After all it was Gopalakrishnan ICS who built the foundation of this organisation.

All of them have excellent career profiles

What is 'intriguing' about some of the Governors being from IPS? All of them have excellent career profiles and are doing very well in their present assignments too!

CWG and the Media

Till 23rd evening Times now and CNN IBN were reporting as though CWG is a gone case an it cannot be salvaged. On 24th morning the tone of the reporting has changed. Both these channels have made Suresh Kalmadi the monster of a man. Kalmadi may be corrupt but the fact of the matter is that all the stadia are complete and there were some problems about cleanliness in the games village. These problems were not insurmountable. Four countries belonging to the British Group (UK, Scotland, Australia and NZ) made a hue and cry of these small issues and the two channels, because of the rivalry between Arnab Goswami and Rajdeep Sardesai played in to the hands of these foreigners and started defaming the country day and night. Times now has been singling out Kalmadi and hitting him below the belt simply because he had some drubbing with this channel in the corruption issue. After all, Kalmadi is not the owner of CWG. It is not the case these four countries are parts of heaven. No country is devoid of problems. In those countries virtually there is no dust or mud due to their Geographical advantage. Maintaining cleanliness in this country is not that easy due to natural and other reasons. We all agree that there were flaws in the CWG planning and all the works should have been completed at lease 6 months in advance. We keep on postponing our decisions and this is our National Character. As regards cleanliness, there is a serious problem since we allow defalcation in open, spitting, urinating, garbage throwing, and things like that. Our workers have poor sense of hygiene that they start using the newly constructed toilets even before water connection is given. This is because of the fact that workers are not provided these minimum facilities at the construction sites. This is a part of the General problem. We need launch a National mission for sanitation and cleanliness by providing facilities in large scale and thereafter, open defalcation, urination in open, spitting, garbage throwing etc. should be made cognizable offenses. There is no doubt that those in charge of the games village are responsible for criminal negligence. However, conduct of some of the channels especially, Times now and CNN IBN, the way in which they were denouncing the County along with those foreigners who were behaving in an utterly irresponsible manner is definitely un patriotic. There channels should not have played with the country's prestige for TRP. Let us all wish well for Common Wealth Games.

TAIL-PIECE
One night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn't too luxurious.

When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the president's secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner.

Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, why was he so interested in talking to you. She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her.

President Obama then said, "so if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant" ,  Michelle responded, "no, if I had married him, he would now be the President"
