Aaj Ki Aawaz

When the clock struck twelve!!!
Deviously the Lokpal Bill Congress did shelve!!!

At about 10.30 pm a news Channel reported that Rajnithi Prasad would do dirty Rajnithi!!! In fact quite a few Opposition Members were surprised by Laloo's presence in Rajya Sabha's gallery... and a few even expected Congress was up to tricks!! It's clear either Congress did not want to let this Bill to pass or in RS seeing the numbers stacked against Congress they panicked and 'murdered' Democracy!!!! Ahluwalia and Yechury time and again requested Speaker to inform them whether House would sit till Bill was passed or was the 12 o'clock deadline sacrosanct!! It is very clear Congress has played dirty. RS did not take up the Bill on 28 Dec?? Now Congress is crying 'amendment pe amendment pe amendment'. And Public is shouting 'dhoke pe dhoka pe dhoka!!!! And in 2003 Manohar Joshi extended the Winter session and SC uphled his decision!!

Laloo is known for his dirty rajnithi!!
And in RS he did this via Rajnithi!!!

Why was Laloo in the RS gallery??? And how come the News Channels were in the know that Congress was going to play dirty????? Congress right till evening was in discussion with TMC and BSP to get the numbers.... though some this was all naatak because Congress had decided to shelve Lokpal bill!!! If it was Congress's intention to shelve this bill then decision to shelve the Bill was taken on 27 Dec.... Congress's Rawat said on TV 'we do not have the numbers'!!! So Congress decided 'let's keep trying to get numbers' and if numbers do not materialize then Plan Rajnithi Prasasd would be put into action.... and its said at 8.30 this plan was set in motion!!! Why do you think all of a sudden Laloo landed up at RS????

Now Nation will understand the role Anna played!!!!
'We Indians overlooked his selfless fight for a cause' and for this Nation paid!!!

Had Mumbai turned up at Anna's fast ... Anna would have been fasting when RS session took place rest ...... Congress would never have dared to murder Democracy at the way it did at stroke of midnight in RS!!!! People forgot the selflessness in Anna's fight.....his statements on drunks were twisted and turned to show he's 'lost it'!!!! He's and elder and sometimes elder's do make some idealistic demands.... for those who lambasted Anna on his 'flog drunkards' statement should also say Women in various States who fight for closure of Liquor Vends and beat up drunkards. have 'lost it'!! When crowds did not turn up Journos became rude to Anna....one young Journo called out to him ... Eh Anna!!! Laloo's been downright rude towards Anna and so was his 'hatchet man' Rajinithi Prasad!! Paswan taunted Anna about his 'buss ek hi maara'....... I think if Gandhi would have been alive and seeing the chori and seena jorri he too would have said what Anna said!!! Shame on us for letting down a man who was trying to rid Bharat Mata of a malaise that the political establishment has been avoiding by hook or crook to rid Bharat Mata of!! And a word of advise for Team Anna....let Anna do the talking!!! You guys can do the deciphering .... samjhe kya???

Now you know why Congress does not want Lokpal to have Suo Motu powers!!!
To investigate 'the article' that Jethmalani pointed out in RS, Lokpal ko Suo Motu empowers!!

Congress is dead against Lokpal having investigative powers and Suo Motu powers!!! More because Congress has a 'very questionable past'???? Congress wants a Lokpal that is like CBI!!!!! The selection process will ensure that Lokpal is Government's Lokpal!!! Without investigative Lokpal will be a handicap when it comes to pursuing corruption.... and giving Suo Motu powers to Lokpal would by like Congress committing hara-kiri!!!! Again Congress put two time bombs in the Lokpal Bill and as expected the Bombs burst at the time these bombs were timed to blast!!! Reservation in a Body that should not have any reservation and the Article 253 which would make States cry foul.... more so because Congress has a history of killing Democracy by trying to control, trip and eject Opposition State Governments!!!

PS.....Team Anna they say will distribute copies of the article that Jethmalani mentioned in RS...work is on to get it translated in Hindi....Aiyer will not be able to do what he did in RS! Many feel none of our Netas are for even a Jokepal leave a strong Lokpal have jointly acted in the drama Congress choreographed!! Joke is Congress does not want to sue the magazine Jethmalani mentioned in RS.....and if Congress does not then it means the article in the magazine is correct.... so maybe they'll get Rajinthi Prasad to symbolically tear up the magazine in Public!!

Too many lawyers spoil the draft

What a complete absence of Leadership was on display in the Rajya Sabha on dec 29, 2011 ! It needs to be humbly noted (and not flippantly ignored)that democracy can't be outsourced to shouting brigades, making all kinds of faces inside the parliament and on television channels, indulging in verbal knavery and trying to ride the nation roughshod. The Indian parliamentary democracy has been ridiculed for too long: a PM not being the Leader of the House! Ministers shouting at members raising questions! CBI indulging in gross undemocratic behaviour of getting sucked into the cess pool of dirty political games rather than performing its lawful duty as prescribed by the law! Undermining the system of governance grossly, both at the state and the national level! Government running away from a voting in the House! Time doesn't stop, but change of date is manually/technically stopped, the House was actually adjourned on 30/12/2011, after its time for the sitting had ended on 29/12/2011, as displayed on the wall clock of the Rajya Sabha. With the highest filing false affidavits, there can be no hope for transparency in governance. With the nationality of the Members under challenge, democracy can not be considered safe. Those politicians and the media, who were putting pressure on Anna Hazare not to continue with his fast, should now know that the Establishment has not only shown its true colours(asli chehra) but also teeth. The moment the pressure of civil society released by ending of Anna fast, the evil society was in fast mode of spoiling the draft.Let it be understood clearly that they are not the Leadership and shall never be. Leadership in India flows from sincere public service and genuine sacrifice, which is no quality of the corrupt, who have not only accumulated crores of rupees, but mostly by manipulating the law. They should not be allowed to hijack the political party under any circumstances. They speak an idiom, in a manner of offending sensibilities, painting the government as vindictive and generally showing immoral favours to the corrupt openly.Such riff-raff are a big liability and have repeatedly proved to be very costly for the political system(even deadly to the leader). Can such a mis-lead and divided India face any internal or external challenges to its sovereignty?

RTI

Certified copies of the photocopies

Background

The appellant sought certain attested documents and information regarding the rule of the RTI Act, under which the attested copies of documents should be given. The PIO denied the attested copies of documents claiming that the Public Authority does not possess original documents. The Commission directed the PIO to provide the relevant provision of law to the appellant regarding attestation and to supply attested copies of the photocopies of documents available in the records to the Appellant along with a note on each page clarifying that the same are only copies of photocopies and not copies of the original documents.

Comments

The RTI Act empowers the citizens of India to obtain certified copies of the documents from the Government Organisations and the PIO should not refuse to certify the documents even if the Public Authority does not possess the original documents. In such cases, a note should be given that they are only copies of photocopies and not copies of the original documents. It should be remembered that certified copies of the original may be used as an evidence in a court of law.
