Aaj Ki Aawaz

Jaago grahak jaago!!!

Wal-Mart ke Pied Piper our PM ke peeche matt bhago!!

Sorry but for our Leaders we are like mice..... small, inconsequential, pests, easily trapped! Bhopal Gas Anniversary brought back memories.... of the Great Sell Out to UCG!!! Without a doubt the then Congress Government sided with UCG...... and its Boss Anderson could not have flown out without the then PM's approval!!! I mean to say what worries us is that Congress has a track record of 'selling us out'!!!! Recently our PM valued Indian lives 'cheap' in the Nuclear Civil Liability Bill and only a National hue and cry got him to grudgingly rethink!!! His flunky and Congress's unofficial Spokesman on economic issues Montek opined that any Indian earning Rs. 32 cannot be classified as poor... absurd!!! This yarn that Wal-Mart and likes are here to benefit us is being used to get the inflation suffering consumer to stand behind Government on FDI in Retail!! Yes initially to drive out the Mom Dad stores Wal-Mart and likes will benefit the Consumers.... but once they achieve this target the 'big squeeze' will start!!! And there is no doubt Government will be on the standby to help Wal-Mart and likes...... be it tweaking laws.... fiddling with duties etc. Anand Sharma who is actually a gunk ...... though a well dressed one..... has just followed orders.......in US Big Ticket Retail are 'slave shops' ...'enslave both customers and workers'....... as no or minimal Mom Dad Shops are there Big Ticket Retail 'rules'!!!! And slowly and surely they'll do the same here too!!! Do not know why India did not follow the Chinese Model and allow Big Ticket Retail in two Metros and only after getting a firsthand idea of the pros and cons then decided on exposing India to Big Ticket retail 'big time'? With this Sarkaar 'sabh golmaal hai'... like quietly Government has tweaked SEZ law to allow real estate stakes for foreigners...one of the demands of Wal-Mart and likes!!!

Advani says BJP will decide on his becoming PM and in Congress Madam doth decide!!

We who have to 'jhelo' or bear the PM are kept at the side!!

That is why it's important that every Party should declare its PM candidate in its Manifesto.... at least then it will be said that PM has Public's acceptability!!! Then a GM will not become PM...... or PM will not be selected by an 'apolitical authority'...... or a consensus PM or one who has given a 'share' to Parties supporting him!! For our MPs and MLAs we only matter during the electioneering period and after this period we again become inconsequential ... like we elect Congress MPs but their High Command is Sonia Gandhi.. electorate in many Congress MPs constituencies are saying 'no' to FDI in Retail but they are lending support to FDI.. of course as Madam in on FDI in Retail's side so are they!! Rahul as PM gives many Indians nightmares.... but if and when he becomes PM, Indians would not have a say!! And so is the case when it comes to Advani!!!

On whose side is Manmohan Singh?????

And is it true that US's National Anthem everyday he does sing???

By the looks of it by the time Manmohan Singh demits Office India's economy and Indians will be exposed to FDI onslaught .... Foreign Direct Interference!! Many say PM may show he's a Sonia fan.... but fact is there is a method in his chamchagiri..... he is actually furthering the interests of his real Bossor Aaka .... Uncle Sam!!!!! His 'arms length' comment in 2 G shows that he was not an innocent bystander but one who tacitly aided and abetted the 2 G Chori!! Under an economist PM Indians have suffered high inflation for years... he said high inflation was an outfall of growth..... but when growth fell inflation did not fall!! All in all Manmohan Singh is efficient, capable and qualified but, sadly he did not use any of his qualities to benefit us.... mind you I have not counted honesty as one of his qualities.... only a fool would do this after what has come out!!

PS....03 jokes.....We already have 100% FDI in running this Nation.... Sonia!!!! After the fan fell a few feet from Pawar when he was giving a speech on stage there are calls to hold an inquiry as to why the fan was not placed properly .... after all fans are supposed to be above the heads of the VIPs to give them cool breeze!!! Farrouk demands that India should have a controlled Democracy.... we already do.... otherwise how do you think Sonia runs the Country indirectly!

Department of Posts is lucky away from media glare

Department of Posts is lucky, away from media glare unlike the high profile Telecom. But dig, deeper scams are plenty but they are systematically hushed as the media is not focussing thinking it is a poor department. There are innumerable scams/frauds all over the country. In WB it was more than 100 crore scam in CC, in AP more than 2 crores, recurring frauds in RD, SB, but all escape. It's the poor lower level officials who are suspended, dismissed and the higher ups go scott free. Scam tainted ones are posted to vigilance units so that everything gets hushed up. Add all the amounts all over the country, this department can even beat Telecom. Media, CVC, C&AG should focus on this department they have been getting away and it has to stop.

RTI

Should the Property returns be disclosed?

The applicant sought the copies about the movable and immovable property returns of an IAS Officer for a particular period. The PIO consulted the officer in terms of the provisions of Section 11 of the RTI Act. The officer objected to giving the details stating that the property file returns is purely a personal matter and is not related with any public activity or interest. In line with the view taken by the CIC in numerous decisions in the past, the Commission upheld the decision of the PIO not to disclose such information. The CIC has consistently held that the immovable property returns filed by officers are their personal information and should not be ordinarily disclosed. Section 8 (1)(j) of the RTI Act exempts such information from disclosure. The CIC observed that in recent months, on their own several state governments have published the immovable property returns filed by the All India Service officers in their respective websites. Therefore, the Commission directed the CPIO to ascertain from the State Government of Uttar Pradesh about this and disclose the information to the Complainant provided such returns have already been published by the State Government.

Comments

Immovable Property Return (IPR) of a government servant is a personal information and is not liable for disclosure under the RTI Act.
