Very Informative

Aaj Ki Aawaz

IBN's state of the Nation poll is a farce!!!! 'Terror not linked to religion'...... what a lie!! Terror that is exported into India from across the border is steeped in religion..... why even Kashmir has been givne a religious hue by Pakistan!! Then comes the next fib..... Rahul is the Public's choice for PM.......the man has blundered and blundered..... dramas.....double standards!! Problem with these polls is these polls are funded by vested interests!! And if Rahul thinks via such polls he'll gets the license to parachute into PM's chair then he's got it wrong!! And fact of the matter is IBN's ratings fell down .... IBN had expected state of the Nation poll will boost its TRPs..... we see Idiot Boxes but we are not idiots!! And now there is the India Today Poll which is diametrically opposite to IBN's poll.... I'd trust India Today poll nay day!!

In fact this poll result is bringing out Rahul's shortcomings to the fore!!!!

And I understand more such fixed surveys are in store!!

Omar Abdullah is known for his partying..... a RTI applications shows how Omar has been wasting Public money on his jaunts...... nowadays he flies to Delhi for Iftars and partying thereafter!! Those in the know say in the name of fighting terror these people literally milk the State.... it was done in Punjab and its being done in Kashmir!!! And do remember there is no audit of secret funds to fight terror..... brings memories of Guv Surendra Nath!! In Delhi informed sources do recall Omar's wheeling and dealing during the NDA days!!!

Baap pe pooth....... many sons are like their Dads!!!

Have the same addictions and the same fads!!

It is indeed surprising that despite AI's woes BJP is refusing to take up Praful's alleged blatant chori!!! Seems Pawar has got Ghadkari to ignore this 'humongous fly on the wall'!!! AI has been bled dry be it purchase of planes, operations and other procurements!! It is alleged that flight routes were changed to suit Praful's pals!! Praful's daughter misused AI!!! But despite all the alleged chori BJP's looking the other way!!

Prior to Praful taking over AI was not doing to badly!!!!

And despite so many revelations on Praful's alleged chori BJP is looking the other way sadly!!

I feel Subramaniam Swamy was itching to get arrested or face some kind of trouble at the hand of authorities or Congress supporters.... but in the end he walked out without getting a reception, brickbats or arrested!!! Swamy is prone to making ludicrous statements.... like his recent on that he was art lunch with friends and he heard recordings of Sonia's sisters are contacting Ahmed Patel.....of course if you ask him for proof he'll either insult you by calling you a servant of Sonia or give you a bluff!!! Swamy's bag is full of allegations but he has no proof!!

Swamy ji religion is believing and not damning another Dharam!!

In no Dharam is abusing other Dharams a karam!

PS.... Maken new caller tune is the ole Bollywwod song tune... humm ka maaf karr doh ....... he call up BJP Leaders and hang up..... and when they call him back he pleads for forgiveness!!! And Officials in the Sports Ministry need to be careful as Maken's Plan B is to put the blame on them saying 'he was misled by them'!!!!

Rly Ministry pulled up

Railway Ministry has been pulled up by the CAG and indicated a loss of around 300 crores. Indian Railways is a clear example of Mismanagement of Resources and systems. For instance, the corporate sectors and private companies just allow LTC grant without asking for any train tickets. Similarly in Central Govt. offices and Public Sector Undertakings a lot of malpractices do take place. People travel by bus and give false ticket numbers and claim ac fares. THis should be checked.

It is right time to wakeup !

What to talk of Defence, there is another service where officers are also recruited through Combine Engineering Services Exam. of UPSC i.e Indian Supply Service where the officers of 1976 Exam. are at JAG level after more than 34 years of Gp A service. Moreover neither the DGS&D nor Cadre Controlling Authority( Secy commerce) are bothered to fill up 8 vacant posts at SAG , lying vacant more than a year. PMO is talking of better Goverance but unaware of what is happening in various departments.

Politics at its lowest ebb

Politics in this country is at its lowest ebb since Independence. New trend is to shoot the messenger If CAG squeaks then finish the institution, if Anna Hazare speaks thrash him, if whistleblower raises a head kill him. It is a typical case where 'chors' are thrashing the police. What CAG has stated in its report are only facts and many of these were quite well known and discussed in the corridors of power much before the audit was even concieved. Everone in the power cirlcles of Delhi knew how a particular clique headed by 'whom was distributing contracts in Delhi govt. Delhi Govt can always counter CAG in media if the facts reported are wrong but it is too well aware that this will be like shooting its own foot as all its dirt would become public. delhi govt can't even say that it wasn't given oppotunity to reply as it said for Shunglu Committee as CAG gave it ample opportunity to reply at every stage of audit then why are they running away from findings. Truth is sytemic loot has taken place in the name of CWG and small pawns have been sacrificied for hiding the kings, queens and princes of corruption and our system is such that we will end up with only 'peeps, squeaks and leaks' while those gained of it would laugh all the way to bank.

Rules are changed to accommodate a few

Union Public Service Commission decided to promote Sr CMOs to the level of Joint Secretaries. Many (about 250 were not found to benchmark due to ACRs submitted alongwith) hence it was decided that all sh0uld be kept at par and were promoted and than were included for promotion. By doing this act, UPSC acted at the behest of whom - the petty officers like AP Tarvadi or Asit Halder who had been guiding how to rag a DPC for promotion. With these two people sitting there for past two decades, the rule of rotational transfer does not apply to them. DP Aggarwal, Chairman should see the bungling they had been doing in the past many years and delaying the genuine cases by showing that they come under the category of deficient documents. It is disgusting and unhealthy for the democratic country like India. What a shame ? Rules are changed to accommodate some very few and none is worried to see the problem.

Send Assam Rifles to naxal affected areas

The best thing would have been to send Assam Rifles to fight the naxal affected areas of Chhatishgarh, Orrisa and Maharastra.

Copies of documents in Vigilance cases

The copies of documents sent by the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) along with enclosures on the basis of which the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) issued the 'advice' in the case of the applicant were sought. They were declined claiming exemption u/s 8(1) (h) of RTI Act by CVC after consulting the CBEC as a third party. It was submitted to the CIC that although the proceedings against the Appellant himself had since been completed, the proceedings against the remaining employees who had been charge-sheeted in connection with this case were still pending and, therefore, the disclosure could adversely affect the pending enquiry. Further, the case involved a large number of employees and the records and documents received from the CBEC had common references to all those employees, distinguishing the information related to the Appellant from the rest might not be possible. The CIC held that upon the conclusion of disciplinary proceedings against the Appellant with the advice of the CVC, there is no reason why the desired documents should not be disclosed.

Comments

Even if the communications from the CBEC contained some references to other employees, it would hardly matter when the CVC has already given its advice in relation to the Appellant. The increasing number of such cases point to a need for a change in practice and training in RTI Act.
