Aaj Ki Aawaz

The Empire Strikes Back…….Civil Society's survey in Rahul's constituency has got Congress livid!!!! So now Congress has raked in Justice Sawant's Report that says 2.2 lakhs were spent on Anna's birthday celebrations….…..funnily Sawant termed it as misutilization of funds and Congress is claiming this is corruption .....our Netas sidekicks spend more on the birthdays of their pets!! Anna now says his fast will continue till his name is not cleared!!! Congress is bent upon making Indian Public realize how warped Congress is on corruption!! Even a dolt will not term the strictures in Sawant's Report as corruption!! And Mr. Manish Tiwari needs to realize pointing fingers at the PM is not disrespect to the National Flag!!!! And if it is then I think as Mohna has been misused by Congress then this should be akin to misusage of the National Flag!

Congress is desperate to 'hit its own wicket'!!!!

One who does this is declared 'out' in cricket!!

Our PM's speech from Red Fort was more like a lament on what he would like to do…. but not possible!! Like a strong Lokpal…….. he has said that as PM he would like to come under the ambit of the Lokpal…… but then we all know what the Party made him say…..then he says that fasting is not the solution to the Lokpal Bill….. it is the Gandhian solution...... and keeping chup is also no solution Mohna Ji!!! Though I'm sure knowing Mohna's love for Gora Sahib he must have felt the same when Gandhi went on fasts!!!! He says inflation is a huge concern…. Congress will get Montek to 'talk down inflation and its outfall'!!! Mohna has said 'terror is still a huge cause of concern'….and PC will soon issue a statement on Hindu terror!! Our PM sure has some very lofty dreams but alas…… his Party has other ideas!!!

Our PM builds Castles in the air!!!

And Castles 'hawaa' ho jaathe hai or 'disintegrate' into air!!!

Subramanim Swamy is back with a bag full of allegations!!! He's tweeted that Sonia's illness is more serious that was being talked about!!! He now says tests were carried for Giloma of the brain! Initially he had indicated that she's got cervical cancer!!!! He's been saying privately that most Netas who have money in Switzerland have closed their accounts and are holding the money in 'Bankers Cheques' issued by the Banks!!! Interest rate is zero and the Cheques are good for payment for a year…. so techincally they hold no moneys in Switzerland as a now the ill gotten wealth is stored in Cheques…… so there must be a couple of Banker Cheques for 'Billions'! He also says that Indian Muslims trace their roots to Hinduism!! He refuses to see that religion is all about belief!!!!

Swamy aa gaya!!!

And if it gets hot for him it'll be Swamy bhaag gaya!!

PS….. Salmaan Khursheed is now known as 'Diet Sibbal'…Diet Cola is less harmful than regular Cola.... how very apt!!! PC's ancestral home was burgled.... what did the fools think he's that naive tht he'll keep the goodies he's alleged to have made in his ancestral home?????

What she thinks about common man ?

I was listening to the press conference held on 14th August in which Ambika Soni was referring to the Anna Team as they are so small and inconsequential person. If she thinks so about them, one can imagine what does she thinks about common people of India. By the way, what is her credentials to hold such an important post?

Insaaf ki dagar par chalte chalte...

Insaaf ki dagar pe, bachcho dikhao chalke. Aur hum chale. Chalte chalte yehan tak aa pahunche hai! This song used to enthuse us children like nothing else. Independence Day was special. The laddos distributed on the occasion tasted best. We trusted our leaders. We followed them. One by one they started disappearing. In their place, all kinds of fellows creeped in. The enthusiasm ebbed slowly. Ladoos disappeared. The netas of tomorrow that the song promised were collecting garbage with bare hands. Some were scavenging. The 9% growth made many more millionaires but millions of paupers. Employment shrank. Labour was thrown on to the streets in world class mega cities to beg, steel or scavenge. No hand gloves, no masks on the nose, no shoes--bare hands in the filthiest conditions. In our childhood we didn't see even one child doing this kind of labour. We heard our Prime Minister shower special love and care on children. He loved to be called Chaachaa Nehru. He died. Now nobody cares for the children. Nobody spares even a moment for their pitiable condition. Nobody even wants to know whether they are children from scheduled castes or scheduled tribes or backward classes or minorities. All they want is someone doing this inhuman work in the most inhuman conditions. They also keep them as slaves at their homes or farm houses, beat them mercilessly to death when they refuse to do begar for them. (What is the use of begar or unpaid labour being declared unconstitutional?).They go unaccounted as the police has not so far registered a single case of murder of innocent poor children found mysteriously dead by the roadside in colonies or dark alleys. The judges see it daily, the ministers see it daily, the bureaucrats see it daily, the society sees it daily--only to turn their eyes the other way. The SC Commission sees it not, the ST Commission sees it not, the BC Commission sees it not, the minorities commission sees it not. I don't know why I see it? I feel a day will come when children in this country-Our India-will not be compelled to do such dirty job. It would not be too much to expect the government to declare the year 2011-12(Independence Year) as the National Year of the Children and ensure complete stoppage of employing children for scavenging and garbage handling. Machines must be ordered immediately for such jobs as is the practice in civilized world. Make Independence Day a day for celebrations for all children! It is very much within the power of this government and needs no more five year plans!!!

Air India can still fly majestically !

Brijeshkumar was the only bureaucrat who did excellent work. None before or after. He was then short lived.

Can one hope that Rohit Nandan will hear out everybody and decide what is right according to his conscience. If he were to toe the line, he should himself come forward to quit. Air India can still be pulled out of the red and fly majestically.

We need better brains and self respecting bureaucrats. It is hard to come by. When 99 % Indians are corrupt in one way or the other, the bureaucracy can not be an exception.

Retired people are history. There may be few exceptions. There is no harm in taking their advice. Rohit Nandan would do justice if he can redress the grievances of the original Air Indians. Not the IC walas emp0loyees to start with.

There are many area where Nandan has to clean up and ensure that all our aircraft should be in the air atleast 20 hours out of 24 hours to make money. He should find ways as how to fill the last seat of an aircraft before its departure. Revenue loss is on many counts.

I wish the very best of everything for Nandan .

Protection of trees

The Complainant wanted the Forest Department, GNCTD to put up on their website certain information related to the Delhi Tree Preservation Act like details of permissions given for felling and pruning of trees, together with the details of applicants, the number of trees, locations, reasons for approval or rejection of the same and other details. The CIC directed to put the information on-line along with the details of complaints received on the tree help-line and their status till the date of final disposal. The CIC also directed all civic agencies carrying out any construction work to display along with the monetary costs and details of the project, the environmental cost, indicating the number of trees being felled and the location of compensatory plantation.

Comments

In M.C. Mehta vs. Union of India, the scope of Article 21 of the Constitution of India (Right to Life and Liberty) was enlarged by the Apex Court and the right to clean environment was also comprehended under Article 21. The rapid concretization in the city is affecting the trees the most, leading to poor forest cover and disappearance of
various species of birds. While this order is a step in the right direction, the mute question is whether it would be implemented and if yes, to what extent?
