What people say about us !

One of my friend told me to see this website. Since the day I surfed it, it's been an addiction to open it everyday, like face book or twitter. Splendid Job done.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

PC and Sibal's game plan will backfire on Congress!!!! Arrest of Anna shows to the World that Congress is not serious about fighting corruption!!! Anna is not Ramdev!!!!! And this is the mistake that Congress is committing!! Congress cannot deny any Indian the right to protest peacefully!!! Congress is working on the Media to ensure Anna does not get the publicity he got when he fasted at Jantar Mantar….. and Congress is hoping Public will be scared to protest because Congress has already sent the message during Ramdev's fast that it can get the Police to break up such protests using brutal force!! And mark my words when this backfires either PC or Sibal will be made the fall guys….. Congress will say Madam was not here and Congress was misled by either of the two or both!!! Also Nephew met Uncle….. actually in this case the Nephew is the Uncle and vice versa…. I'm talking about Mohna and Rahul!! Seems Mohna had expressed some apprehensions about the way Anna was to be handled…. message from Rahul was give PC a free hand…. and Mohna was politely reminded that his contract expires in 2014!!! And now there's news Anna is being released.....Congress is finito!!

When we take a step despite the facxt that we know this step will cause our fall!!

Issi ko fate karte hai call!!!

Ghadkari says ' BJP will join protest if Anna invites BJP'…… so that means BJP needs an invite to stand up for what is correct!!! Okay Anna has said he will not take political support….. but shouldn't BJP protest Anna's arrest!!! BJP keeps lamenting about the Emergency…. Anna's arrest is like the Emergency!!! Survey show BJP's prospects are on the upswing but BJP is bent upon committing hara-kiri !!!! India's middle class is not going to forgive Congress for arresting Anna and it has taken note of BJP's silence!!!! BJP forgets that corruption has taken center stage….. and now even inflation is being linked to corruption!!!

Many will say Congress is giving issues to BJP on a platter but BJP is missing out!!!!

Seeing this 'BJP means Bharatiya Jhala (nutcases) Party' many Indians who are pro BJP shout!!

I personally am very worried about Madam Sonia Gandhi…. she has her plus and minus points! First it was said she's got skin cancer then it was cervical and not it's being said tests were carried out Giloma!! I got more worried when I saw Rahul's pic at the Congress Independence Day flag hoisting…. he looked tired and worried!! Though I'm sure Subramaniam Swamy who had initially said Sonia suffers from 'a case of extreme asset inflation' will say Rahul's worried look is because of Gandhi clan's worry that Congress is losing the next election and then BJP will try to corner them on their alleged foreign assets!! Good to hear Rahul is getting hitched….. now this adds to my worry….. is Sonia so sick that Rahul is getting married….. because there was no talk of Rahul getting hitched when Sonia left for her operation???? I think Gandhis need to realize this secrecy is not needed!!!!

Here's wishing Sonia speedy recovery …get well jaldi!!!!

Do take Grandma's soothing 'nuska' ...... milk with haldi!!

PS…….. England's water has not suited our cricket players…….. that is why India is losing!! If this is the cause of the loss BCCI will airlift water every second day for our players… though 'water not suiting means not only drinking water' but BCCI known for 'going overboard' will airlift water for total water usage of the Indian players…. drinking, bathing, washing and even haath paani!!!! And of course a couple of guys from BCCI will be sent to England to oversee this water issue!!!! Wikileaks have stopped coming out.....maybe Julius Assange got what he wanted….. this was not a selfless service being provided by Assange!!!

FORUM

Most appropriate forum to cover Anna

I think whisperithecorridors.com is the appropriate forum to share the information about the support that Anna Hazare got from one of the most surprising quarters; Sri Bani Bhattacharya during his speech on the occasion of foundation laying ceremony of a new building at ICD, Bangalore addressed the gathering comprising o0f subordinate officers, custom house agents and ship liners expressed solidarity with Anna's movement and gave a call to the gathering to be prepare to join hands with Anna. A pleasant surprise to Anna indeed!

Venkatesh. R T

Quite interesting !

We are living in interesting times. Hassan Ali has been released on bail and Anna Hazare has been arrested.

Sudhir Chopra

Don't promote untrue self-promotional matter

Bharat Bhushan was simply holding additional charge of Air India just for 5 days before he was removed. How can this be described as looking after AI for "quite some time". Such untrue self-promotional matter should not be published in whispers.

Leela

Why brand officers ?

Why are officers branded as Kerala cadre or UP cadre? They are all officers.

Manmohan is not suited to head the nation

With a weak & ineffective Prime Minister at the helm of affairs what else can we expect. He sits in his office room in PMO for long hours clears files as per the feedback & discussion with TKA Nair, is over zealously taking up the cause of IAS and CSS Officers at the behest of those sugar sucking officials posted in PMO. So for Man mohan the world is shrunk to PMO. By clearing promotion files of IAS and CSS officers in quick succession & doling out perks and privileges to them, he thinks he has ushered in reforms. By introducing the earth shaking initiative of implementing RFD Results Framework Document he thinks he has completed the implementation of administrative reforms. Manmohan is not suited to head a nation with big aspirations he shows best results when in subordinate position. Rahul Gandhi must step in and take over reins of Prime Minister and Man Mohan can become full time Minister incharge of Ministry of Personnel and Public grievances.

Corruption is reason for widespread poverty

Corruption is rampant in our country. That is the reason for widespread poverty in India. People in power are talking about parliament and we should have respect for parliament that it will take care of Lok Pal bill. What is Parliament? cant it take a bill of its own? It is the members in the Govt. to take. what the Govt. was doing last so many years. If the bill in whatever form has been introduced it is because of Anna Hazare not the politicians. Most of the good to the society are either coming from the peaceful agitation of social activists or from the Courts. The people in power are busy in corrupt practices. now time has come to weed the corrupt people from our society.

Kalpna

Will they accept ?

In the written speech read out by the PM at the RED FORT on the 15 th Aug,there was a mention of Janta Ka Paisa reaching the pockets of sarkari adhikaries and remedial action assured in this behalf. There was no mention of sarkari karamcharies indulging in corruption nor of the politicians comprising MLAs, MPs and ministers like Raja, Maran, Kalmadi etc. How this should be interpreted. Will All India Sevice Officers Associations and Confederation of Central Govt Officers Association accept this singularly conferred honour silently.

Scoop of the week

Let us talk about success today. What is Success?

An effort everyday....small struggles everyday but still not giving up !!!

I would like to leave you with this thought.

Fall

You may see me struggle but you won't see me fall.

Regardless if I'm weak or not I'm going to stand tall.

Everyone says life is easy but truly living it is not.

Times get hard, people struggle and constantly get put on the spot.

I'm going to wear the biggest smile even though I want to cry.

I'm going to fight to live even though I'm destined to die.

And even though it's hard and I may struggle through it all.

you see me struggle, you will NEVER see me fall.

RTI

Protection of trees

The Complainant wanted the Forest Department, GNCTD to put up on their website certain information related to the Delhi Tree Preservation Act like details of permissions given for felling and pruning of trees, together with the details of applicants, the number of trees, locations, reasons for approval or rejection of the same and other details. The CIC directed to put the information on-line along with the details of complaints received on the tree help-line and their status till the date of final disposal. The CIC also directed all civic agencies carrying out any construction work to display along with the monetary costs and details of the project, the environmental cost, indicating the number of trees being felled and the location of compensatory plantation.

Comments

In M.C. Mehta vs. Union of India, the scope of Article 21 of the Constitution of India (Right to Life and Liberty) was enlarged by the Apex Court and the right to clean environment was also comprehended under Article 21. The rapid concretization in the city is affecting the trees the most, leading to poor forest cover and disappearance of
various species of birds. While this order is a step in the right direction, the mute question is whether it would be implemented and if yes, to what extent?
