Aaj Ki Aawaz
During the JPC Debate Congress tried to browbeat BJP with 'NDA days'!!!
'NDA did this so we can do the same' is what Congress says!!!!
Kapil Sibal just harped on BJP's past!!!!!
Because of its past aspersions by Sibal on BJP were cast!!!
And without a doubt what Raja did was wrong and stinks of ghoos making!!!
But Raja had his Sugar Daddy so for whom ghoos Raja was taking?????
We all know the answer to this sawaal!!!!
Public perception is that Karuna got a lion's share of the 'maal'!!
Just saying 'Raja followed what BJP did' is not a valid excuse!!!
Take the following example which shows NDA's precedence Raja cannot
use!
If someone was allotted a plot in a new City say for a paltry sum!!!!
In the argument that today same mode and rate should be applicable
there is no dumm!!!!
When a new City was made there were compulsions not to auction but
allot!!!
Now the mode would be announce a minimum price and via auction the
plot is bought!
Just keeping inflation as a yardstick price cannot be same!!
Hope via this simple example I've explained why Raja is to blame!!
FM had opined 'it is a scarce resource' and auction was the right mode
to proceed!
PM too had advised Raja to auction Spectrum..... both advises he did
not heed!
Congress's siding with Raja when the goo hit the fan puts Congress
in the dock!!
And one of the reasons's why there has been a fall in Congress's stock!!
BJP on the other hand is no 'babe in the woods'!!!!!!
BJP too has its share of 'damaged goods'!!!
And if Pranab Da thinks by being acerbic and angry he can make jhoot
into truth!!!
He should realize he looks and sounds uncouth!!
Fact of the matter is by not conceding to a JPC Congress did waste
'time and money'!
Pranab Da blaming BJP for waste of Parliament's time sure sounds funny!!
Baba Ram Dev agrees that his trusts have more than 1000 crores but
hastens to add!
That he does not have even a Rupee on his name and does not even own
a pad (house)!
Baba Ji they say Libya has 140 Billion but fact is it is under Gaddafi's
control!!!!
Baba ji you too have a similar role!!!
The money is in the Trusts names but not a paisa can be spent without
your approval!
Before a paisa is spent they have to take your approval or disapproval!!
You live an opulent life!!!
Yes you would need money in your pocket if you had children and a wife!!
Why have you been bitten by the siyaasat ka bug?????
By becoming a Neta 'grave for all the good work you have done' you
have dug!!
As I see it 'fame' has given you a bloated head!!!
And rather than improving Indians health via Yoga you have got into
politics instead!!
Mamtha's Railway Budget... Singur to get a Factory to make Coaches!!!
Mamtha's Budget was for WB poll which fast approaches!!
She says Railways are aware of the acute sense of responsibility!!!!!!
We trust the Railways but believe on Railway Mantris there can be no
dependability!
Wish Mamtha had exposed Laloo's lying, fibbing and window dressing!!!
Had she done this Business Schools all over the world she would be
addressing!
Topic...... how to spot and catch lies and balance sheet window dressing?????
Of course Laloo would have found this oppressing!!
Pan Masala and Gutka should be banned!!!!
Oral Cancer cases Pan Masala and Gutka have fanned!!!
The manufacturers will say we employ millions and generate huge tax
revenue!
Same old argument and nothing new!!
And then for sure huge amounts go to Political Parties....political
donation!!
We know for Netas 'money' comes first and then comes the Nation!
Confucius says...... Pan Masalas and Tobacco- less Hookas are a just
a sham!!!!
Into tobacco addiction the users both do tacitly ram!!
Adds.... Youngsters take to Pan Masalas and Hookas at a raw age!!
Towards tobacco addiction this is the first stage!!!

Where does the politician's money?
With a lot of hue and cry being made over the unaccounted money of politicians
in Swiss Bank, the so called servants of 'common man'' have now started
investing in the construction business. A latest survey in this connection

Will Ms. Anita Soni be acting CMD, MTNL?
Will Ms. Anita Soni, who is presently Director Finance in MTNL, be acting
CMD, MTNL? This question is hotly being debated in corridors of powers
because a proposal has been mooted by the Ministry in this regard. Presently,
Kuldip Singh who is Director Technical MTNL is holding charge as acting
CMD, MTNL. The latest proposal has triggered a debate that at a time
when MTNL's revenue not only went up, but even its losses declined in
the last one year, then what is the reason for changing guards in MTNL
a his juncture? Moreover, it is being said, if at all for ill financial
health of MTNL its CMD is being held responsible then how could Ms.
Soni escape the onus who has been MTNL's Director Finance for the last
six years, while Singh has been Director Technical in MTNL for the last
five years.
SAIL Chairman C.S. Verma's response to rail
budget
"No direct increase in freight is good news for the steel industry,
because for every tonne of steel, around 4 tonnes of material, including
raw materials and finished goods, is transported. In addition, laying
of new and modified rail lines, procurement of wagons and related investments
in infrastructure are all positive steps for the steel industry. We
welcome the well-defined long-term targets announced in the Rail Budget.
Besides, the decision to set up 5 state-of-the-art wagon factories in
JV/PPP mode will go a long way in adding to transport infrastructure

Malkangiri collector acted in a stupid way
Malkangiri collector went out to show his concern for public in a stupid
way , instead of planning and acting as an collector was supposed to
be. Of recently collectors go and do extra bit to get publicity which
is cheap . Unfortunately the hard work and sacrifice made by police,
para military forces in nabbing Maoists went in vain, with this kind
of stupidity. Things can be made in several ways using strategy and
not becoming prey himself.

Malkangiri collector put the entire nation in embarrassment
Young IITan, DC Malkangiri, definitely threw to the winds some extant
instructions of the State Government on undertaking tours to Maoist-infested
areas. He put the entire nation in real embarrassment.

Nothing strange !
This is the order of the day in the government too for posting and extension.
What matters whom you know and how much powerful he is? The retirement
age of 60 years is for only some and on papers only. There are persons
in the government on extensions even beyond 65 years + ... no jokes.
Does any body knows how many officers, not non-officers, are there in
the central government working and any justifications, how they are
indispensable? During BJP rule, LK Advani made a statement that no body
is indispensable and no extension to any one. He implemented it only
for few years but things are back again to same old position. This is
India. It is no strange. No economist can be chief statistician because
Dr Mantok singh Ahluwalia is economist and I wonder if he knows what
statistician can do, which economist can not do at all. This is the
land of scams and connections. Does any one has guts to bell the cat
? I think none.

Top level vacancies in Army ?
In the Whisper "Many top level vacancies in Army" of 25th
Feb 2011, it is mentioned that Army has vacancies for 90 lieutenant
generals and 290 major generals. The statement is misleading since these
numbers must be "total authorised strength of lieutenant generals
and major generals" and not the "vacant posts at lieutenant
generals and major generals levels". Regarding shortage of over
12,000 officers at the junior and the middle rung, it would be worth
mentioning that one reason for this shortage could be the deployment
of many officers in "non military roles". Some of the organisations
from where these officers can be spared are Cabinet Secretariat, Ministry
headquarters, Border Roads Organization, Military Engineering Service.
There may be many other places where army officers are performing non
military duties.

Hats off to Dr. Vijayalakshmy Gupta
After reading so much about Dr. Vijayalakshmy Gupta, I thought I should
do a quick check on her. I found that all that is written about her
is not only correct but falls short by miles . Besides conducting 3
G Auction, She ensured that the collection of One Lakh Six Thousand
Crores was actual and not presumptive! She withstood pressure being
mounted on her to defer collection from BSNL/MTNL since these PSU's
did not deposit their bid amount in time! She insisted that these PSU"S
paid Penal interest on the amount due from them! Minister Raja could
not overrule her! On her personal front, she is a perfect model of National
integration. By looking at her no one can guess that she is not a UP
BANIA. She is a Palghat (Kerala) Brahmin .She can speak six languages(Tamil,Malyalam,Marathi,Hindi,Sanskrit
and German- which was one optional subject in UPSC exam)! Her elder
son in law is Maharashtrian and younger one is a Punjabi. Husband is
from Kanpur UP. She is an astrologer, a Vidushi in true sense. A professional
finance person, she refused post of Director General of OC CWG and had
rightly predicted that all top brass of Kalmadi men will go to Tihar!
How prophetic! Lady with guts to face Kalmadi is how 0fficers in the
OC remember her. Hats off to this officer who is honest, outstanding
in work, humble and unassuming, till challenged ! This I gathered after
talking to a dozen or so officers in the organizations she served in
the past 10 years. She deserves the best in life. Recognition by the
Prime Minister, a man of integrity, could be the reward which is least
expected which this officer could be given in recognition of her contribution
to reduce over 1% of fiscal deficit of the country. This fact I understand
has been accepted by secy.(finance) Ashok Chawala himself.

Logic behind extension of two months?
What is the logic for extension of two months? Is it to ensure that
he is involved in transfer of officers? Does the government not rely
on Member (P & V), CBDT who is otherwise a respected officer in
the department.

RTI
Prosecution record
Copies of certain documents were denied to the Applicant claiming that
it consists of analysis of evidences by various decision taking authorities
and their opinions thereon which has the potential to influence these
evidences and to interfere with the proceedings of the court wherein
prosecution of the Applicant is already under process. The Commission
noted that copies of the relied upon documents submitted by the Respondents
to the Court have already been provided
to the Applicant by the Court and that there is no order from the Court
not to disclose any further information available with the Pubic Authority.
The Commission directed to provide the documents after severing those
portions that are exempt from disclosure under any of
the sub clauses of Section 8(1) of the RTI Act.
Comments
Public Authorities tend to avoid disclosure even after the filing of
the charge-sheet, on various pretexts. With the filing of the charge-sheet
which marks the end of the investigations, the documents should no longer
be held as exempt.
