What people say
about us !
One of the best website I have ever visited. Every aspect is beautifully
covered. Hope this website reaches the heights of success !!!
Harsh Malik
Aaj Ki Aawaz
Krishna sings.... tuh 34 baras ki mein 79 baras ka...... iss liye
joh mein kahoo maanana!!!
Khar sings..... mein 34 baras ki aap ho 79 baras ke..... you are
a relic .....aap ko chahiye yeh pehchaanana!!
Khar met the hardliners from Kashmir at the very start of her visit
to India!!!! So she's sent a message that for Pakistan Kashmir is the
main issue!!! Yes.... yes.... there will be some cosmetic CBMs.......
nothing more!!!!! For India Security is the top issue..... progress
in 26/11 perpetrators being brought to book.... cross border terrorism......
economic terrorism!!! In the end Khar will go back having achieved precious
little!!! India will not give up Kashmir and Pakistan wants to do a
'Bangladesh on India via Kashmir'...... India's stand is CBMs will bring
us closer..... Pakis stand is if you want friendship 'cut yourself up'!!!!!
Kashmiris need a reality check on what is the condition in POK.....
it is pathetic!! Basically India is on the path of progress and Pakistan
is on the path to self destruction...... we have to ensure that Pakistan
does not pull us down with itself.... that us why it is said a progressive
Pakistan is in India's interest!!!
Ramesh is a pseudo ..... out and out!!!!
Power has gone to his already 'big head' and he needs to be sorted
out!!!
Imagine someone presents Ramesh with a khadi garland and he uses
it to wipe his shoes????? Basically when one is not committed and humble
from the heart one tends to show ones true colours!!! His environmental
stand is also the same....... he used it to the hilt.... though in actuality
he's not 'green'!! It was 'decided' that he'd basically wave red flags
to projects and when he gets the green flag from 10 Janpath he'll give
environmental clearances!! He was supposed to pass over the credit for
his 'green decisions' to Rahul but he grabbed the credit himself...
tut tut Ramesh.... he should have known in Congress only Madam or her
Rahul get credit!!! Rahul though has given him a second chance and Ramesh
has promised to be careful!!!
Abh tehra kay hogaa Maya?????
Congress says in Maya's presence whoi jaatha hai joh apne saath
2 suitcase hai laaya!!
Maya's going to be hit by the grossly arbitrary and unfair land
acquisitions in Greater Noida!! Rahul by his wild allegations had allowed
Maya to 'change the subject'!!! It is alleged that Officials in the
UP Government ganged up with Colonizers to mutually make a killing and
the losers were the Farmers!!!! And as per Mulayam, who can comment
with experience and authority on the subject., Maya got the Lion's share!!!!
Just hope that Rahul and Digvijaya do not land up in UP and trivialize
this issue again!!! Expect some very harsh rebuttals from Maya.........
but she knows her limits with the DA sword hanging above her head!!!
And as few swords hand over his head will Amar side with Maya??????
Raja's aim is involve 'everyone' in the scam!!!!
He knows if he points a finger at Mohna he's also pointing a finger
at Madam!!!
The 2 G Tihar gang strikes back!!!! Raja says PM and PC were 'involved'!!!
Behuria says 'Cabinet has collective responsibility for the policy that
was formulated for 2 G'!!!! This is for sure that without the help from
the FM this scam was not possible...... had he not been involved PC
would have blown the whistle!!!! Pranab Da they say has some proof on
this but 'for Party's sake he's mum'....... he wants to be in the prospective
PM list!!!! They say if a true investigation is done.... Mohna's nervousness
and his being held hostage and PC's hand in this scam will be revealed!!
PS....... Kalmadi showed no symptoms of forgetfulness when he headed
OC ...... though it is said that from the very start of his businessman
days he was very forgetful about 'money he owed' .... but his memory
was very good when it came to money that was owed to him!! So if Kalmadi
can get the people he owed money to give statements he can prove he
suffers from forgetfulness... one of the symptoms for dementia!!!!

Pakistan : federal secretary penalised for
compliance of apex court order
Pakistan's establishment secretary Sohail Ahmed has been sidelined as
OSD in the same ministry apparently for complying with a directive of
the supreme court. The matter pertains to a senior police officer Hussain
Asgar who was transferred from the federal investigation agency (FIA)
as IG Gilgit Baltistan after investigations being supervised by him
in a politically sensitive Haj scam case seemed leading to the PMO.
As the case is being monitored by the apex court it directed the establishment
division to bring the police officer back to the FIA and when compliance
was not forthcoming a contempt notice was issued to the establishment
secretary. Submission made by the secretary during his personal appearance
on Tuesday that the proposal for compliance of the court's direction
was pending consideration of the 'competent authority' irked the court
and he was granted a few hours to produce the government order or 'face
the music'. Poor secretary had no option but to produce the concerned
transfer order in the court but the federal government removed him from
his post within a few hours for 'violation of the laid down procedure'.

Indians are a depressed lot
The report that almost 30 percent Indians are suffering from depression
is a cause of concern and needs further study to understand why this
is happening. This is perhaps the right time to look at building the
case for promoting mental health ( sadly neglected). The role of impact
of school education system, changing social norms ( due to social media..),
internet/tv revolution..that largely sell negative stories or pornography
needs to be investigated. Also, there appear regional disparities with
places like Pondicherry having unexplained but highest prevalence. GOI
should set up a GOM under the Union Health Minister to look at the health
and other social dimensions that are leading us to become a unhappy
lot.

Political dementia a robust defence
Kalmadi is likely to sing under interrogation and cross examination.
Whatever he had done was done to serve other hidden individuals for
whom he played just a stooge. If he blurts out the names of the real
beneficiaries of his doings, it might pose grave danger to those elements.
He being in judicial custody can not be handled like the few others
silenced differently. So the shield of dementia will give that escape
route. Even if he were to give out names now, it will be alleged that
he suffers from memory loss or cognitive capabilities and hence his
testimony can't be relied upon !!!

RTI
Claiming exemption as the third party
Certain information about a property assessment was refused by the
PIO claiming that the owner of the property had opposed disclosure of
the information to the applicant. Since no grounds were advanced as
per Section 8(1) of the RTI Act to justify the denial of information,
the Commission did not accept the objection of third party and directed
to provide the information.
Comments
When a citizen applies for information which has been provided by or
is related to a third party, it can be denied only if it is exempted
under Section 8(1) or Section 9. Section 11 merely requires the PIO
to seek the objections of the third party and keep them in view while
deciding whether to release the information as per the provisions of
the RTI Act. Many PIOs fail to do so even 5 years after the enactment
of the RTI Act due to ignorance and lack of proper training. The third
parties too remain ignorant of their rights and fail to defend their
case.
