Aaj Ki Aawaz

Mani Aiyer had written a letter to Mohna in shudh Queen's English about the Great CWG Chori!!! However when one of the Editor's asked Mohna during the Meet the Editors charade Mohna said that Mani's letter was about ideology!!!! Is 'chori' Congress's ideology..... because Mani has confirmed he has only written to Mohna about the CWG Chori???? The letter Mani wrote is now in Public domain and if you read the letter it's abs clear that Mohna is lying through his teeth!! Prior to this Mohna had said the graft charges against UPA Ministers were just aberrations....... I'm sure many would be saying there is no way that Mohna does not have a share in the pie..... no honest man
would indulge in such gross cover up of choris!!!! Last heard Mohna has asked the Sports Ministry to send him a copy of the letter Mani had 'written to him' on CWG Chori...what a joke........ what's Mohna trying to show that he did not receive the letter.......... seems PMO will say the letter in which Mani pointed about the great CWG Chori did not reach Mohna....Mani will be ordered to pen a letter in shudh angrezi about ideology and date on this letter will be same as the CWG Chori letter and also announce that he had written two letters and say that seems the CWG Chori letter did not reach PM....switches to
save face are not uncommon....... Mohna's made himself into a joke.... a very poor joke!!

Yeh kaisi imaandari......Mohna needs to seriously think!!!
Because now from him we get proverbial Indian Neta kind of stink!!

Anna must realize that deep down all Netas are against there being a Lokpal.....they would not mind a Jokepal!!! Congress is banking on this!!! However, how will BJP voice its opposition to Lokpal in Public???? BJP was more inclined to say that as Congress had not consulted it in the first place it would prefer to 'sit it out' and
enjoy Congress wincing in pain..... but then seems via back channel talks Congress persuaded BJP to attend the all Party meeting...... pitch used was 'we are all opposed to Lokpal.... we are in one boat on this one'!!! Sonia image has taken a huge hit because of her opposing the Lokpal........ people know she's not in favour of a Lokpal and would like a Jokepal via the statements of her minions .... mainly PC and Sibal!!! Mohna's image keeps falling every day but Public know in matter of Lokpal he has little say!!! And post his meeting with Sonia Anna repeated that if the Government proposes a Jokepal he'll go on a fast and Congress said Anna and Sonia discussed no contentious issue..... yeah....... Anna had bhel puri, vada pao and pedas … washed it down with tea and left......lying has always been second nature to Congressmen ..... it is taking alarming and worrying
proportions now!!
Anna needs to call Sonia's bluff..... time to take her head on!!!!
Congress's hilarious demand 'answer to Anna is Sonia's son'!!!!

BJP's 'loose cannon' is back to doing what loose cannon's do..... Jaswant makes ludicrous demands and wants BJP to show unity on his demands!!! His demand that Raja and Kani may be politically right for him but factually it's wrong!!! And Kani's in no pain in jail as is being projected....she spends long hours in the Jail Superintendent's
Office reading , munching , sipping and penning prose.... the same Office where the Judge on a 'raid' caught Kalmadi enjoying tea and snacks with the Jail Superintendent in his Office...... the Cells of the 2 G accused were not locked and the notorious Yadav bros were taking a walk in the garden!! The obliging Jail Superintendant has been sent to kaala pani…though its being said he was already under transfe .... what about those who took favours.........shouldn't they be punished too?????? VIPs usually do not!!!

In Tihar if you have money/power rules take a walk!!!!!
As it is everything the Jail guards hawk!!!

Is there a possibility that Rahul will take a sabbatical ...... to give him time to get his act together and start afresh....though this sounds impossible..... but do remember the way Rahul's image is falling Mama Sonia is thinking of ways to stop this fall and 'out of
sight out of mind' is one of the options!!! As 'minders' will continue to run the show he can afford this sabbatical!! Basically the advice given to Sonia is that 'no use Rahul hanging on'......... his bystander image is harming him!!! He does not have the 'art of the
gab' to comment on issues as he should be doing if he's tipped to take over…..not a word from him on the rampant ghoos khori…..inflation etc.!!! And as UPA 2 flounders the feeling is its best that he keeps away from being actively involved in UPA in any way!!! In the past he's kept away and at the same time shown he is 'alive and kicking' via his Dalit home stays or running to meet victims of calamities or heinous crimes..... UP is his 'show ground'!!!

Is Rahul Baba going to London to Queen's Land!!!!
If he continues on the path he's going on bajh jaye ga Rahul ki image ka band!!!

It is a travesty of Justice that a Lady who helped her fiancée cut up a man into 300 pieces and stuff the pieces in a bag gets just 3 years imprisonment.... though the Lady contests the number of pieces...... chalo give and take a hundred pieces (that is how casual she's about this henious crime)!!! Our Justice system seems to go easy on those who have moolah.... so do the investigators!!! She deserves nothing less than what her fiancée has got!!!! I think the Judge who pronounced this sentence should be hauled up by the reviewal Court..... the judgment stinks!!!! Hope you have noted that lower Courts usually either let off murderers or sentencing is too harsh!!!!!

Yeh kaisa insaaf!!!!
3 years sentence is like saying yeh macabre crime hai maaf!!!

PS.....in case Mohna is really abs honest then ......Mohna aap ki
image ho gayi mailee UPA ke paap dhote dhote!!!

Jayalalithaa and the BJP
Originally it was Nitin Gadkari, who had come to Chennai to attend a wedding, was to have met Ms. Jayalalithaa last week. But he had to rush back to Delhi. Hence Ms. Sushma Swaraj met her instead. During the meeting Ms. Sushma Swaraj is reported to have assured Ms. Jayalalithaa that in the event of a non-Congress alliance consisting of BJP, Janata Dal and Telugu Desam parties forming the government at the centre, BJP would like to offer the post of Deputy Prime Minister to Ms. Jayalalithaa. Those who know Ms. Jayalalithaa well say that the latter would never accept the number 2 slot and her preference would be only to become the Prime Minister. The Jaya TV has already started broadcasting various opinion polls like the article in the Hindustan Times that Ms. Jayalalithaa, who has all the credentials to become the Prime Minister, will make an excellent one at that particularly in matters of foreign policy.

This National Commission is only for Rajasthan !
National Commission on Women becomes State Women's Commission for Rajasthan? The National Women's Commission has had past 5 Chairmens, 3 having been important women leaders in society as its aim was to include women's voice from society in government decisions. NCW now seems to have become a dumping ground to accommodate ex- ML As and ex - MPs (from Rajasthan). From 2004 the Chairman of National Women's Commission (NCW) has been from Rajasthan for two terms. Current Acting Chairman also from Rajasthan. If media reports are to be believed next Chairman is a ex-MLA who lost from Rajasthan. State of Rajasthan seems to be controlling NCW? In the current situation this may have reverse effect on growing public opinion.

How balance tilted in Vinay Mittal's favour for CRB
The three point formula for eligibility as Chairman Railway Board (CRB) led to titling of balance in favour of newly appointed Chairman Railway Board (CRB) Vinay MIttal (an IRTS officer of 1975 batch).

(A)A Railway Board Member who has one or more years to retire.
(B)General Manager who has completed one year as General Manager of open line and has two or more years to retire.
(c) Senior most Member Railway Board.
The Government of the day then can pick any one as Chairman Railway Board from a group of officers fulfilling any one of the above criterion. Member Engineering A. P. Mishra was eligible as per first, General Manager South Eastern Vinay Mittal as per second and Member Mechanical as per third. However considering that Vinay Mittal was from the IRTS and had an impeccable record, the Prime Minister decided on Vinay Mittal's name.

Extension of retirement age to 62 expected

In my exclusive opinion, keeping in view the temperament and sticking to my intuition, I am sure that Prime Minister and Congress Party President, will decide extension of retirement age to 62 because there have been tremendous lack of experienced Government Employees in the Centre. Apart from this, still Government have been engaging the services of the retired government servants as its Consultants and payment between 25000-40,000 p.m. By raising retirement age to 62, Government shall have huge saving in its budget earmarked for the payment in LumpSum to the retired persons in coming two years. Therefore, it should be an abrupt decision of the Prime Ministry of India to raise to 62 years retirement age for government servants. It is again visible all the previous years that only Congress has took lead in favour of Government servants, irrespective of enhancement of payment and perks thru Pay Commissions or other such decision in its Government Staff. Wishing Prime Minister to take this logical and immediate strep alongwith the reshuffle of his Cabinet. Rather reshuffle can wait but retirement age issue be on priority agenda the PM and Congress as a whole, if they have even to win political mileage nearing Elections.

H. S. Bhalla

Increase retirement age to 62 years

Government should increase the retirement age to 62 years but then ban on their taking up jobs thereafter.

J Sarkar

Ridiculous !

It is ridiculous to conclude that if retirement age is not increased , all the Government Officers , nearing 60 will become corrupt.

Poonam

What relevance PM's courage has to do with increasing retirement age ?

What relevance PM's courage has got to do with increasing the retirement age of Government servants? How can she compare Siddharth Behuria with PM when the case is subjudice and in the Court. She should not have stopped such a low level to prove her point. I wish the Editor should screen such biased and partisan letters; otherwise the credibility of whispers in the eyes of intellectual readers will go to dustbin. I guess Rita is going to retire shortly.

Radhikai

Rules don't permit extension beyond 60 years

To my knowledge under Rule16 of AIS(DCRB) Rules, carried out on 7.12.1998, no extension in service shall be granted beyond the age of 60 years. The same thing has been answered in Lok Sabha while answering the question put by Shri Haribhai Chaudhary (4246). Please enlighten me under what rule the extension has been given. AP Government should have been given the same extension to Sri Aravinda Rao,IPS, who retired as DGP on 30.6.2011 in view of the situation in Andhra Pradesh.

Congrats to Madam Trivedi

She is really an efficient and energetic officer capable of taking bold decisions despite many odds. I know Ms. Trivedi when she did not relent before Union on issue of decentralisation of Policy Documents from DPLI Kolkata to Circles. She will definitely turn DoP into a profit making Deptt. I wish Trivedi Madam, all the best.

Why is government keeping post of Member Traffic vacant ?

Is it to massage the ego of earlier Vivek Sahai and now Vinay Mittal and at the cost of Indian Railways.

Phoolbalu

Vora deserves a better deal

He has performed so well in recent past that he should be considered for ML's chair. Electrical in Railways has been misruled (prostituted) by persons like Sukhbir singh and needs urgent cleaning.
