Aaj Ki Aawaz

The sailors who were held hostage by Somali Pirates have returned!!!! Our Sarkaar's total apathy has been revealed!! A wife of a sailor narrated her meeting PM and Krishna and she says both were like stones..... unmoved!!! This I do know that Mohna is hardnosed and his emotions are all caught up in red tape!!!!! She says she met Sushma Swaraj too who also turned her away...... this has not been verified if Sushma verbally expressed her inability to do something or did she dance and express her inability!!! Rahul Gandhi who is known to rush to gain brownie points too refrained from rushing to their side........ seems his think tank calculated at max the vote potential in this was 100-200 votes!!! Our human rights jhola waalas found the plight of these sailors families not worth taking up....... and we too are to blame.......we too were too caught up in our own lives!!! Ultimately it was a Pakistani Minister who is also a Human Rights activist and Pakis who made the return of the sailors possible.... kudos to them!! Our Netas should have shown magnanimity and thanked the Pakis profusely..... where credit is due it must be given!! As the sailors and their families must have been put on the 'watch list' because they have expressed their gratitude to Pakis and have expressed their disappointment at the Indian Sarkaar!!! Flash: I understand Sonia is contemplating calling the sailors and their families for tea..... salvage the situation....... now it's being calculated that this matter could have a considerable vote potential!!!!

Mohna they say towards us Indians is totally emotionless!!!

And Madam Humaneness's emotionless attitude towards us is Mohna se little less!!

Indians are not being able to swallow CBI's exclusion from the RTI!!!! The process of investigation of course should not come under the RTI but once the investigation is complete CBI should not be allowed to hide behind the curtain of secrecy!!! Also what about the cases that are pending with CBI....... there are so many cases that CBI keeps in the 'thandaa basta' for obvious reasons!! Like if an RTI application is filed in Laloo's DA Case I'm sure CBI would be in a fix!!!!What about Q's case....... CBI had marked him as CBI......Cannot Be Investigated????

What UPA gives it taketh!!

Via RTI UPA 1 brought in transparency and now this tr+ansparency into opaqueness UPA 2 maketh!

Senior Congressman who is now being called HMV or Her Majesty's Voice says 'Mohna is a fairly good PM and Rahul is fit too'........meaning Madam now agrees Mohna is okay okay and Rahul is ready to take over!!!!! The general impression is that HMV has been making statements on Sonia and Rahul's behalf..... in fact they vent their spleen via HMV!!!!! Common sense says ' the proof of the pudding is in its eating'........ we will only know what kind of PM Rahul will be is 'if and when' he becomes PM!!!! As of now the general perception seeing his track record is he does not have the qualities to become India's PM!!!!! Add to this the streak of decency that he has......... at least it's my perception that unlike his Dad he'll never make a statement like the ' big tree falling' statement...... Mohna will vouch for the fact that decency can be a big disadvantage !! And now I think most Indians do believe that 'cleanliness in Rahul's case is isolated to his having a bath twice a day'!!!!!

Rahul is known to play hide and seek!!!

When going is bad he hides and then for an opportunity to come out and score brownie points from his hideout he does peek!!

Imagine in Haryana a Grandmom 'slaughtered' her granddaughter by putting an onion in the kid's mouth and then threw the kid in a tandoor...... macabre!!! Imagine Ramdev promises a male child via his quackery!! Despite the fact that India is being run by a Lady...... the Leader of Opposition is a Lady........... so many States have Ladies as CMs......... but despite this the girl child especially in Punjab and Haryana remains a curse!!!! Even in Haryanvi families that do not resort to cruelty when the first girl child is born she's named Lakshmi..... the second is named Rajji (meaning satisfied) and the third one is named Akki (over full)!!!! Of course if boys are born in succession no one yearns for a girl child and names the boys similarly........ in male versions of course.... Ganesh, Rajya (filled) and Akkya (over full)!!!

This granny who slaughtered her granddaughter should be 'for life thrown behind bars'!!!!!

Make her undergo such RI that everyday literally she see stars!!!

Third front to take lead

It seems a new third front comprising of Baba Ramdev and Anna Hazare and some other Muslims and Sikh community leaders will take lead

Extensions are the order of the day with UPA

With UPA, extensins after extensions are the order of the day. In any ministries one can tell in advance who is going to get extension, no matter what's his age or credentials, what matters his/her connections. God save this country with another scam going to get exposed very soon. Is PMO listening or keeping his ears and eyes closed .

Self serving bunch of people

The so called civil society representatives busy in grabbing media footage are nothing but self serving bunch of people. Their thinking is based on the premise that one and all public servants and politician are corrupt. This perception has been created systemically and now it is being exploited by a group of people who themselves are not clean. Out side support like a former IPS officer is also busy in creating hysterical situation in the country by denouncing every authority, be it politicians or public servant. Anna can not be considered a visionary socialist who can lead the country in fight against corruption. India is democratic country and no institution which has potential to become autocrat by grabbing all powers of executive, judiciary and police can be allowed to see the light of the day. Everyone wants a strong anti corruption watch dog but not as strong as to create political instability and induce inertia in the government. The Anna group should first search their heart to what they have done to amass wealth. Anna's theory that stones are thrown on the tree that bore fruits is not going to deceive the people of India. See the reason and work towards making an anti corruption that is just, effective and constitutional. Abusing everybody and calling them by name do not augur well for Indian democracy. It does not matter who appoints the Lokpal the important questin is who is appointed? Media and people have now a days hawks eyes. if some body of bad reputation is appointed as Lokpal, he can not be concealed from the media. This has been seen in at least one case of a CVC's appointment. I wish better sense prevails on Anna and group in helping the government in making a strong Lokpal which may not be as autocrat as has been envisioned by Anna and his group.

Hype about Lokpal Bill

There is a hype about Lokpal Bill. There are already so many Bills. The tussle is going between the government and the Anna Team. Swords have been drawn. In a democracy the government is of the people, by the people and for the people. Why not the public seek an answer about corruption, lawlessness and poverty from their respective elected representatives at all levels, starting from the Panchayats and local self bodies. The battle is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant and active. Vigilant and active population can make the elected representatives' lives hell. Don't give them second or third chance if they are found wanting in the public service. Frankly, public encourage the system to be corrupt. So far everybody is saying that corruption is like cancer. No, it is like T.B. It is contagious, spreading from one to another. Cancer is not contagious. Let us keep a TB patient at bay.

Z S Nirwal

West Bengal Tenant Act

It is very funny that the tenants of West Bengal are a privileged class in view of the fact that they still pay the same rate of house rent to the landlord/landlady which his/her forefather was paying. As for instance in 19th century if one was paying Rs18/- as house rent, now too in the 21st century the grand son/great grand son pays the same rent being tenant to the house owner. We should really appreciate the law of the State and that should be implemented throughout the country, so that the landlord/landlady can take beggars bowl in their hand.

Mohan asked

"I am fully with Anna Team. Are you?"

No. I am not. He said that "Goonda Raj" Thakrey is right in reserving Mumbai for Maharashtrians. He will support Balkanisation of India. Should we revert back to Princely states. Those Maharajas were definitely less corrupt.

RTI

Copy of application of wife

The applicant asked for the copy of application form his wife had supposedly sent to the RBI including her educational certificate. The CPIO refused to disclose the information claiming that it was personal information as she had not been selected for the job and is not an employee of the RBI. The CIC upheld the order of CPIO holding that there was no apparent larger public interest to be served by disclosure. The CIC noted that there was nothing on record to show that the lady has authorized the Appellant to access this information.

Comments

This order shows that the Public Authority is not bound to disclose information about a job-seeker who is not his employee, even to her spouse.
