Aaj Ki Aawaz

All of a sudden the Doctor who conducted Batcha's post mortem is bitten by the political bug!

On his medical service he pulls the plug!!!

And if prior to Batcha's post mortem kiya iss Doctor ne apna isteefa submit!!!

Then why to undertake this sensitive post mortem kiya iss Doctor ko permit????

Many would agree with me that Batcha was murdered and a cover up is being done!!!

That's how rotten matters have gone!!

Batcha's suicide note should have raised an alarm.... but TN Cops acted deaf and blind!!!

Anyone can see this ...... even one with half a mind!!

Batcha was on the verge of spilling the beans and seems someone panicked and Batcha 'was killed'!

Who panicked..... well the blanks can be easily filled!!!!!

People like Batcha who are rags to riches stories have strong hearts and skin that is like hide!!!

And they are prepared for the consequences for taking the 'system for a ride'!!

People like Batcha know going to jail is a possibility!!!!

That's why I say Batcha committing suicide is a impossibility!!

TMC raised Congress's seat share by one seat!!

Congress is projecting this as if this was a 'victorious feat'!!!

In WB there is a pro Didi swell!!

Seems Congress realized this though late and now in the TMC Congress alliance all is well!

Though some say Congress knew Didi would not give what Congress was asking for!!!

So Congress tried to get a few more seats and just mocked being sore!!!

Pronoy Roy of NDTV is known to be a Congressman in a Journo's garb!!!

Now on the Wiki Cables he's let out via an interview with Assange 'a barb'!!

Of course the Cables attributed to Hillary could have been sent by someone in her Office!!

I hope Pronoy Roy understands what it means in US 'being in Office'!!

As per Roy Americans have not shown an sympathy to Assange post his 'torture' in USA!!!!

But then any intelligent individual will understand what Roy is trying to say!!

The yardstick Assange used is 'if something is hidden there has to be a reason'!!!!

Could be hidden agendas, bribes and even treason!!

Indians should be indebted to Wiki Cables as it has brought 'our Netas subservience to USA'!!!!

From the leaked cables it is obvious that in every decision India makes US has a say!!

Assange has said rather than damning the Wiki Cables Mohna should get order an investigation!!

The leaks affect the prestige of this Nation!!

Cash for votes really damages India's credibility.... Republic de Banana....anything is possible!!!

When it comes to duping the Nation 'nothing is impossible'!!!

And India comes out like a 'colony' of Uncle Sam!!!

India's reputation the leaks damn!!

And I hope Assange now releases the really sensitive ones sooner than later!!!!!

It's said the coming leaks will literally 'create a crater'!!

Confucius says....Governments guilty of jiggery pokkery will damn Wiki Cables!!!

Call these Cables Assagne's created 'fables'!!!

Adds...... Fact is Wiki Cables show Governments how and where there has been erring!!!!
Like India's cash for votes and our Netas servility to Uncle Sam.....truth and not a red herring!!!

GOG to have water treatment plants on the sea-coasts
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said that state government will develop solar-based desalination water treatment plants on the sea-coasts of Gujarat. These plants will be developed on a big scale and in a cost-effective way, helping industries to get clean water for their operations. Chief Minister announced this while inaugurating a seminar on 'Water for inclusive growth', at Pandit Dindayal University on March 22, 2011. The seminar was organized by Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam on the World Water Day. Chief Minister said that government, with Narmada Canal pipeline, extended the drinking water facility to the village areas, that has freed the rural women form everyday troubles that they were facing due to unavailability of drinking water. Ten years back, some 4000 villages were receiving clean water through water-tankers but today, he said, Gujarat has become a 'tanker-free' state. Chief Minister insisted on the need of water recycling and water treatment and said he suggested prime minister to implement environment clean city project in 500 cities of India under JUNURM, emphasizing 'solid waste management' and 'water treatment management'. His suggestion got good response initially but the latest union budget has put a half-hearted focus on it, Modi said insisting that his government is determined to implement this project in as many as 50 cities of Gujarat during the Swarnim Jyanti year. The Chief Minister, on the occasion, released three research manuals on Sardar Sarovar project, prepared by R.Parthsarthi and Prof.Ravindra Dholakiya. ARE PEOPLE LOSING INTEREST IN DEFENCE SERVICES THESE DAYS ?

What do you think? Why people are losing interest in Defence Services? Have they lost attraction because they are no more that lucrative as they have been earlier or there is a decline of 'nationalism' among the people of country these days. There is a shortage of over 12,000 officers at the junior and the middle rung alone in the Defence services in the country.

FORUM

DEBATE (1) I know that there are thousands of candidates, due to their mental and physical deficiencies rejected for Army commission every year by SSBs. From some of the letters I see in this forum, I feel that these rejects and frustrated elements are using this forum for spewing venom on Defence officers.

N Krishnan

DEBATE (2) I have worked in Defence Ministry. Artificially, shortage of officers is maintained. Enough aspirants are there, only to be denied. It may be curious to find out how many Defence officers children make it, compared to poor "Civilians"

P S Singh

DEBATE (3) Selection criteria for commissioned officers are decided by DIPR, an institution under DRDO and not Armed Forces. One of the qualified psychologist of DIPR is generally posted with Selection Center. He is a civilian scientist.

It is not uncommon to come across so many senior officers, the IAS and IPS who have this grouse that they were not selected for Defence forces but made it to IAS / IPS etc.

That mind set emenates due to lack of realisation that SSB is meant to select officers for the Armed Forces and not Civil Servants leave aside for CPOs.

Putting blame for shortage of officers on the Services is ridiculous.

Only three years posting be allowed

To curb corruption , none should be allowed in same post for more than three years if there is a scope for corruption .

Kalpana

This is regarding increase in the retirement age of Government servants. I feel it should not be increased at all, more you grow old more your contribution is slow. The best would be to arrange (i) housing within the reach of Government servants (ii) help is educating wards of government servants (iii) retired government servants should be available for guidance through e-mail of telephone which can keep them busy and a social service to young generation too. (iv) There should be a think tank like place where they can share their experience and contribute to the improvement of un-civil steel frame system prevailing at this time. If these steps are taken it can bring lot of changes and may be corruption can be crushed in the long run.

Stop the Jat agitation

Will somebody stop these jats from squatting on the Railway track and blocking all traffic resulting in heavy losses to the Railways. The helplessness of the law-enforcing authorities in dealing with this lawlessness is amazing. The current agitation started on 5th of March. For 12 days no one moved to take action or even to talk to them. While these jats-men and women set up house on the Railway tracks putting up shamiana canopy above them ,cooking and sleeping there, hundreds of trains were cancelled putting lakhs of passengers to inconvenience. Railways had to refund crores of rupees due to cancellation of tickets. Coal, foodgrains and fertilizers movement suffered leading to disruption which caused one power plant to shut down. Railways suffered an overall loss of 100 crores in two weeks. The travails are yet not over. Though through the intervention of Allahabad High court the tracks were cleared from Kafurpur Railway station, the Jats have threatened to block the rail and road traffic again. Even today Northern Railway had to cancel so many trains on certain routes. This is happening again and again. The Jats from Rajasthan created that ruckus last year, U.P jats did now. The Jats from Haryana are threatening today. As we do not take any action against those who destroy public property and cause inconvenience to public and huge loss to public exchequer the menace continues. I wonder why the state authorities are indifferent to this nuisance. Why cannot the Railways use their own RPF or GRP to first prevent this criminality and if the protestors do occupy Railway tracks remove them by force. If these two forces do not have powers, give them the powers. Railways will also do well in seeking compensation from state governments who in turn should make the agitators pay for these losses. We have to act and instill some discipline in public. Democracy gives the right to speak and demand for what one perceives to be one's due but by no definition it means going on the rampage and destroying public property and putting fellow citizens to harassment and inconvenience. It is high time a stringent law is made to take care of such goondagardi.

RTI

Unnecessary transfer of application

The Commission noted that the RTI application has been unnecessarily sent to various BDOs who have all replied that the information is not held by them. Twenty officers of Delhi government had to attend a hearing before the CIC most of whom were unrelated to the information sought by the Appellant. This has also lead to a delay in providing
the information since it appears that there was not clarity as to who has the information.

Comments

It is frequently seen that transfer of the application is the first thing that the PIO does without careful scrutiny as to whether the deemed PIO to whom the application is transferred holds the information. Hopefully, the Government would find some method of ensuring that RTI application are sent to the people who have the information and not to every one since this wastes public resources and money.
