What

to retain power . Aaj
Ki Aawaz Osama was penning his Diary when the Seals got him.
Today I'm in the mood to reminisce!!!! After quite some time I'm making
an entry in my Diary!!! What a journey it's been since I got banished
from Saudi Arabia!!! Today as I sit in Abbotabad , my home for the last five years,
I'm tired of running and hiding!!! With all this running I cannot even add to
my wives collection!!! I have to depend on others to choose a wife for me.......
and the ones that are willing to marry a man on the run are old and ugly!!! And
I cannot add to my brood....... imagine I'm fighting for religion and forgetting
my religious duty of producing kids and adding to the numbers!! I'm sick of eating
at home..... I want to go to Restaurants and eat pizzas, burgers, noodles .....
sit in a wayside Cafe and enjoy a Espresso and soak in the 'beauties' passing
by! But then in a way good thing I cannot do so because the Americans
have made me bankrupt!!!! Shifting bases costs me a pretty packet......household
stuff does not come cheap!!! And then my wives restock after every shift......
I empathize on this issue with those whose wives do not wear Burqas!! Imagine
if ladies who wear Burqas spend so much on clothes, makeup and perfumes imagine
what ladies who do not wear Burqas will be spending!! Was a damn
good idea, at that time, that I sent my 6 wives into Pakistan and ordered them
to set up homes in different Cities!!! Only mistake that I made was that I took
the help of ISI and these thugs spawned on 4 of my wives. That's why I have been
trying to add to my wife count!!!! I'm thinking of getting myself a Chinese wife
so that I can have a home in Beijing or Peking!! And then I can also enjoy Chinese
grub to my heart's content......boy it's been ages since I had Chinese grub. I
asked the guys who are my helpers and contacts with the outside World to get me
some Chinese takeaway from Islamabad.... they did not know what noodles are so
I explained them and do you know what they got .... sevian (vermicelli)!!!
Speaking of these two guys!!! They drive around in my SUVs and they ogle
at my Yemini wife........ and I know they are charging me ten times for whatever
they buy for me!!!! I sometimes feel that I'm eating in a Super Deluxe Hotel when
I eat here...... one more reason for my going broke!!! I'm thinking selling one
of my SUVs.... desperate to do so...... but am not doing this because these two
thugs will get me a pittance and pocket the rest!!! I recall when I came to Pakistan
I had ISI handlers and they behaved the same way!!! Wonder are these guys actually
ISI operatives.... they say they are Kuwaitis...... the other day I heard one
of them talking in Pashtoo to one of the kid's whose ball had come into the compound!!!
Imagine they make me pay in the name of maintaining my cover 50 bucks for a ball
that lands in the compound..... kids play cricket outside the compound wall!!
Everyday 30-40 balls lad into the compound!!! These helpers of mine take the collected
balls saying that they are going to destroy the balls...... my foot.... one day
I marked all the balls and next day these marked balls started landing in the
compound!!! I would not be surprised if these kids are actually their kids and
they've made this into a family business!! This Yemini wife of mine
is a Natrupathy freak!!! For constipation she makes me eat raw bananas...... lethargy
she treats with watermelon.......she's even invented a natural Viagra!! If we
return to civilization one day I'm sure I'll make a killing manufacturing and
marketing this Natural Viagra!!! Though this Viagra has a harmless side effect!!!
One starts to become a narcissist ..... I now get CDs of myself on TV .......
I'm still a star on TV and every News Channel worth its salt has to show to me
at least once everyday in its news broadcasts........ and as I watch myself I
have my wife film me watching myself on TV.... then I watch the footage she's
filmed of myself watching myself on the TV!! I must bathe more often....
this once a week bathing and changing clothes is not good!!!! I could afford to
do this when I had oil based perfumes from my favourite perfumery in Riyadh but
now my stock is over!!!! The other day I was smelling and too lazy to bathe so
I sprayed on some of my wife's perfume... when one of my so said Kuwaiti helpers
came in he got a whiff of the perfume and started behaving funnily with me....sharmuta
( Arabic insult for a gay)!!! My wife has asked me to get some curtains!!
She's come to know there are some guys living down the street who keep looking
at this house with binoculars!!!! Cheapos...... voyeurs....... but then I too
indulged in this when I was living in Islamabad with my third wife!!! Nothing
to do ........ I found a pair of binoculars and I peeped and peeped!! One of the
reasons why my wife threw me out...... she's now pally with a high ranking ISI
guy whose house I used to peeping into!! Today I do not know why
my spirits are so low!!!! Ominous..... I got this feeling in Tohra Borra .....
and just in the nick of time I escaped the American bombing!!! Maybe today I'll
slip out from the rear and sleep in the fields outside the compound!! But then
I've been here for five years...... nothing's going to happen......maybe my sugar's
low!!!! I have a Saudi Coffee........ literally ten spoons of sugar in a small
cup of black coffee..... felt better!! Americans are hunting for
me.... and chances that they'll get me are still high....however lower than before......but
today I added in my Will that if the Americans get me they should not show pics
of my dead body..... treat it as the last request of a dying man!!! Keep things
in limbo..... hope the American President heeds to the last request of a dead
man???? If my body is not shown there will be rumours that I am alive.... and
this will prevent my wives from remarrying!!! I DO NOT WANT MY WIVES TO REMARRY!!!
Shit the lights have gone off............. got a candle and lit it!!!!
That ominous feeling has returned...... no no this is not on account of low sugar!!!
I hear Choppers........ has Zardari or Gillani or Kayani or Pasha come to meet
me..... last time Pasha came he came undercover ....shawl seller...... Gillani
had come hiding in the rear of one of my SUV's?????? Whoever it is will blow my
cover.........what the hell ( last words in the dairy.... seems the Seals entered
and shot him)!!

Medical checkup -in
Delhi ! (UPDATED) As per AIS (Performance
Appraisal) Rules, IAS officers above the age of 40 years are to get themselves
medically checked every year. Medical checkup report forms part of the Performance
Appraisal Report. Even the date of medical checkup is to be mentioned in the PAR
form.Call it callousness or mismanagement, even after four years of the introduction
of mandatory medical checkup, DOPT has not notified any hospital outside Delhi
& NCR for the medical checkup. So, IAS officers on deputation to Government
of India posted outside Delhi & NCR have to come to Delhi for the medical
checkup! They have to take leave and come to Delhi at personal cost for the "mandatory"
medical checkup, and queue up in the hospital and cajole the hospitals. As if,
there are no good hospitals in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad,
Guwahati,
! And as if the mandatory medical checkup is a personal work!. V

M.Nene
is no 1 for IOC's Director Marketing (UPDATED) M.Nene
is number one for the post of Director Marketing of the Indian Oil Corporation
(IOC)interviews for which were held on May 13,2011.
DEBATE Does
ACC system have its relevance for all posts? Does the ACC system
has its relevance as far as appointment of incumbents for all posts was concerned?
It is time consuming. Under the system it is examined at each level and in every
Ministry there are at least six levels. Broadly speaking it goes from concerning
Ministry to DoPT Ministry, then to cabinet secretariat and then to the Ministry
of Home Affairs (MHA).Finally it goes to the PMO. It is extremely time consuming

CORPORATE Suspense
is over-file of Sudhir Vasudev cleared ! Finally suspense in over. One
can now congratulate Sudhir Vasudev.Petroleum Minister Jaipal Reddy is believed
to have cleared the appointment of Sudhir Vasudev for the prestigious post of
CMD ONGC . Interviews for IOC's Director
Marketing today Interviews for selection of Director Marketing of
the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC)-the largest corporate entity of the country,
are scheduled on May 13,2011. Nine Executives Directors (EDs) of IOC have been
short listed for interviews along with other external candidates. Of these three
senior most EDs are considered to be hot contenders for the top job in IOC's Marketing
division. The senior most in fray is Amitava Chatterjee, who has worked in sales,
operations and lubricant departments and also functioned as Head of State Office
and other Executive positions in Head Office of Marketing Division. He had been
a motivating force behind the largest selling lubricant brand "SERVO"
and appears to be the most suitable candidate for the job based on profile, capability
and seniority. He is also on Board of group Companies IOC MEZ and AVI Oil. M.
Nene is the other ED who has an impeccable career profile of operations Department.
However, he lacks experience of sales. Also, Jaipur fire incident at IOC depot
has happened when Nene was heading the operation Department. The last among the
three senior most ED is R. Sareen, who is also having background of Sales and
Aviation Departments, but enquiry against him is going on for alleged corruption
charges. The other six EDs are relatively junior in comparison to these three
stalwarts of IOC Marketing Division and may not be able to super cede their competent
senior colleagues. External candidates are unlikely to find favour as IOC Marketing
Division involves very complex management skills and individuals having exposure
to the same would be always at an advantage. IOC

FORUM
Need for a case
study of Civil services final results. The preponderance of candidates
in the final results of Civil Services this year, declared by the UPSC today ie
11th May,11, from the southern India, is welcome. As per the trend in the past,
at least, over 100 candidates belonging to the OBC,SC and ST categories must have
qualified at general standards. This is also welcome. All this confirm the credibility
of UPSC and the fairness of its practices. The only disturbing feature is that
the candidates with the engineering backgrounds are opting for the subjects of
humanities streams in preference to their own disciplines. Does it not call for
enhancing the ?difficulty levels? of subjects from the humanities streams?
It may, however, be analyzed how much percentage of candidates from the rural
region have qualified vis-a-vis the urban sector! Having served as Joint Secretary
(Confidential) in the UPSC from 1989 to 1996 (before transfer as Joint Secretary
,DOP&T) I urge upon Ms Alka Sirohi,the No-nonsense Secretary DOP&T, to
order a case study of the results and take remedial steps to remove the anomaly,
if any. There is also a need to introduce the creamy layer concept to the SC and
ST categories. so that the benefits are not cornered by the elitists among these
two categories and benefits percolate to the grass root level. May I urge
upon Dr Suresh Mehrotra Editor-in-chief, WIC,to post the above views on the website
for the considerations of UPSC and DOP&T? A K SAXENA (A retired civil servant)
The
administrative reforms, which we are aiming for, can easily be achieved, if we
installed bio-metric machine and hidden video cameras in all the Government offices.
Not only we will be bringing about punctuality but also reducing corruption. Many
of the self-respectful, honest and sincere employees of the government suffer
because of the 'sir mujhe samajh me nahi aa raha aap he kar lijiya'attitude of
their juniors. You cannot say anything against the rude behavioured and non-working
clan of Haryana and Western U.P. in the offices of Delhi because you may face
their vendatta. You cannot say anything to the lady employees because the current
law is in their favour. Nobody wants to take the risk and wants that he should
get his regular pension after retirement. BBS It is really
shocking to see the incidents when the farmers resort to take such steps against
the Administration and the State going blindly to appease the Corporates. The
valuable fertile land being taken @ 850 per sqm. being sold to corporates @300
per sqm. These corporates are selling the same land after getting the same hypothecated
to different Banks @ 13 to 15,000 per sqm. Where is the public interest? The Central
and Govt. the Civil Society need to think upon such acquistion of land blindly
under the garb of public interest. We all know the status of SEZs. How many have
been made operational? All need to awake to keep the generations flourish. Devendra

RTI
Constitution of bench by the SC The
CIC observed that the information whether the Registry of the Supreme Court (SC)
has placed certain papers before the Chief Justice of India for constitution of
a Bench as directed in the SC Order in the SLP No. 32855/2009 is plainly administrative
in nature. It is difficult to imagine how the disclosure of such information could
cause any abrogation of the independence of the judiciary. The CIC directed to
provide information on action taken by the SC Registry and also provide copy of
the order, if any, for constituting a Bench of appropriate strength for further
hearing on the SLP. The CIC further directed to provide a copy of the document,
if any, confirming the news about the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India advising
Karnataka Chief Justice Hon'ble Mr. Justice PD Dinakaran to go on leave. Comments While
the CIC deserves applause for the interpretation of the RTI Act, is it not surprising
that the CPIO of the mighty Supreme Court of India cannot decipher one of the
simplest Acts of the independent India? Even earlier, the CPIO of SC has received
a rap on the knuckles for similar aberrations. Shri Subhash Chandra
