Aaj Ki Aawaz In
7 days TN election results will come out and from Court 7 day reprieve for Kani!!!! Her
Vakeel says that in Kaliangar TV she did not handle money!! Actual
sender was Raja and actual recipients were Dayalu and Kani.... Karuna's reps!!! Basically
these people felt they'll get away with this chori and so forgot to cover their
steps! Her Liar... sorry Lawyer says Kani is a Poetess ,
'long distance friendly 'wife and Mummy!!!!! Trying to make Law ka
dummy!!! Ramu Jethmalani her Lawyer is trying to get sympathy
of the Court like Dayalu was able to wangle! In the same sympathy
net the law Ramu is trying to entangle!! Fact is Kaliangar
TV got 2 G money ...... ghoos in the form of a loan!!! Basically
they did not expect the 'this ghoos cover up would be blown'!!! 7
day reprieve means Congress gets 7 days to convince DMK 'arrest is unavoidable'!!! And
at the same time convince DMK taking any 'harsh steps' is avoidable!!
Kani will get five star treatment inside and will be out in no time!!!! After
all this is not a bailable crime!! In all probability she'll
be arrested and she'll fall sick!!! And then hospital of her choice
she'll get to pick!! Of course no Sarkaari Hospital will
have treatment for her condition!!! In fact if she's to be arrested
this would be one of DMK's condition!! By the way Ramu's
been crying from roof tops against black money!! And funnily because
he's the Vakeel of Kani!!! Seems Ramu wants Indian holders
Swiss Bank accounts to be revealed for selfish reasons!!! He'll fight
their cases...... no one is guilty till proven so Ramu always reasons!!
So basically his black money drive is to drive up his practice!!!! A
warped sense of morality Ramu does practice!! PC says he
concerns himself only with his Ministry.....lie!!! Like PC keeps
tabs on the Finance Ministry on the sly!! PC says Murli Manohar
Joshi via the PAC Draft report attempted a coup!!!!! Gone 'cuckoo'
and scared too!!! PC's advice to PM shows he sided with Raja!!! And
we know what daana Raja threw before calling to cuckoo PC 'aaja aaja'!!!
Praful got AI to over order planes and got AI to give up lucrative routes!!! Classical
case of how his Ministry a Minister loots!! Praful is using
the EGOM to cover up his chori!!!! In his arguments there is one
too many morri (hole)!!! By the way AI giving up lucrative
routes benefited Praful's pals!!! Like 'his own' Indigo and Mallya
'king of good living and gals'!! Amar Singh continues his
tirade against Bhushan Papa and Son!!! Seems to anger Amar something
that was indeed very troublesome for him the duo had done! Because
they must have really stepped on his tail!!!!! Or maybe Amar is trying
to become politically relevant after having gone 'stale'!!! Acquisition
of fertile land means reducing India's food production!! And with
supply side being the cause for inflation can we afford in production reduction????
Also we have a population that's galloping!! Hollowly production
ko demand will be walloping!! Hope HE Sonia Ji Gandhi ji's
NACs ....... NGO and Political takes note of this!! And they should
note that the food security bus India ne already karr dee hai miss!!
The original NGO is nothing but a glorified NGO...... filled with Jholawaala
lot!!!! Who tend to get everything into a 'pseudo knot'!!!
Confucius says..... average NGO administrative cost outstrips what NGOs
spend on projects and relief!!! NGOs are 'self serving' is the general
belief!!!

in all likelihood, may be next President of India. Things that go in his favour
are that he is a highly educated dignified person with diplomatic background,
good administrative experience, impeccable integrity and secular image. Despite
being a Muslim, he may not be opposed by the BJP to a certain extent, it is believed.

of new Chairman of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has begun. As many as 10 candidates
including two of the three Managing Directors (MDs) have been called for interviews

Interestingly, all of them had joined LIC in 1977. They are D.K. Mehrotra, Thomas

of Governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI). In terms of seniority he is contemporary
of Dr Kaushik Basu, Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) in the Finance Ministry of the
Government of India (GoI). It may be stated that Ashok Lahiri was elevated as
CEA from the post of Director, National Institute of Public Finance & Policy

baby is Integral Coach Factory (ICF)? This question is doing rounds in corridors
of power. Main reason for this is that the ICF has not had a regular chief for
the last two years. Interestingly, the PMO and Railway Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee
have criticised ICF's progress on different occasions. The latter had done so
during a conclave of general managers (GMs). Additional

for Sanjeev Handa, Member Railway Board, also to look after the duties of Integral

SAIL Chairman assures full investment
support to MEL for new facilities (UPDATED) SAIL
Chairman C.S. Verma has advised the management of Maharashtra Elektrosmelt Ltd.
(MEL), its only subsidiary, to draw up an expansion plan with the objective of
ensuring fulfillment of 100% requirement of ferro-alloys of SAIL's integrated
steel plants which are currently in capacity expansion mode. "Higher ferro-alloy
production by MEL would go a long way in meeting the raw material security concerns
of SAIL", said Verma who visited Chandrapur last weekend to firm up MEL's
annual business plan. He indicated that MEL's expansion plan should provide for
setting up of two new furnaces (the process for installation of one 45 MVA submerged
arc furnace at MEL is currently being finalised) not only to cater to the post-expansion
requirements of the SAIL plants but also of other steel plants in India. The total
investment outlay would come to about Rs. 500 crore. Verma said that MEL should
also explore the possibility of setting up facilities to produce ferro-nickel
for the SAIL plants. Pointing out that MEL is on its way to becoming a SAIL unit,
Verma assured that funds for expansion of MEL would not be a constraint, with
SAIL extending full support.

DEBATE Does
ACC system have its relevance for all posts? Does the ACC system
has its relevance as far as appointment of incumbents for all posts was concerned?
It is time consuming. Under the system it is examined at each level and in every
Ministry there are at least six levels. Broadly speaking it goes from concerning
Ministry to DoPT Ministry, then to cabinet secretariat and then to the Ministry
of Home Affairs (MHA).Finally it goes to the PMO. It is extremely time consuming

What is worrisome
about the ACC ?
What is worrisome about the ACC is that no Member is
required to record his/her reasons on file for selecting an officer from a panel.
Ministerial arbitrariness needs to be stopped forthwith. Equally, there does not
seem to be any need for the ACC at all if the intent of government is to depoliticize
the senior bureaucracy at the Centre. The CSB should have the final authority
on all appointments in the Central Secretariat. Further, the CSB should have a
member each from the IAS and two from Central Services to ensure fairness in selection
and afford other services a chance to serve the Centre on their own merit rather
than on extraneous considerations. A Concerned Citizen
CBDT growing leaps and bounds ! It is very
true that the CBDT has been growing leaps and bounds and now its prestige is at
the top of all Central Services. One person who is responsible for this is the
current Chairman Sh Sudhir Chandra who is the most inspiring and dynamic offcier
ever seen in the bureaucracy. the dept hopes that Sh Chandra is given the two
year extension that is being talked about. the youngsters in the Income Tax dept
hope that he remains Chairman for another two years so that the department can
become the strongest otherwise it will retreat to its moribund state under any
other person.it is also hoped that he will send a clear message to the field officers
that they should join their new work places and start working rather than play
waiting games. All the batches from the 1990S to the 2010 are with him as he has
shown how bureaucracy can also be the most dynamic organization. Alok

Constitution of bench by the SC The
CIC observed that the information whether the Registry of the Supreme Court (SC)
has placed certain papers before the Chief Justice of India for constitution of
a Bench as directed in the SC Order in the SLP No. 32855/2009 is plainly administrative
in nature. It is difficult to imagine how the disclosure of such information could
cause any abrogation of the independence of the judiciary. The CIC directed to
provide information on action taken by the SC Registry and also provide copy of
the order, if any, for constituting a Bench of appropriate strength for further
hearing on the SLP. The CIC further directed to provide a copy of the document,
if any, confirming the news about the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India advising
Karnataka Chief Justice Hon'ble Mr. Justice PD Dinakaran to go on leave. Comments While
the CIC deserves applause for the interpretation of the RTI Act, is it not surprising
that the CPIO of the mighty Supreme Court of India cannot decipher one of the
simplest Acts of the independent India? Even earlier, the CPIO of SC has received
a rap on the knuckles for similar aberrations. Shri Subhash Chandra
