Aaj Ki Aawaz

It was being reported by the Media that CBI would not oppose the Bail Applications of Kani, Morani and Pipara.... the Court took the CBI Lawyer to task and asked him to let the Court know if this was true and also informed him that CBI's not opposing Bail Applications does not mean that the Court would grant bail!!! As it is the Court is irked with Salman Kursheed's 'political economy' advise!!!! Fact of the matter........ it is for the Court to decide on Bail Applications and if Court feels bail is not warranted then despite CBI not opposing the Bail Application Court will and can refuse bail!! Sonia they say has given orders to 'get Kani out on bail.... by hook or crook'!!!! Digvijaya has already indicated Congress is working to get Kalmadi and Raja out of jail!!!!

Seems now Congress will conjure up something to say 'Courts cannot have the last say'!!!!

Reminded of post Bofors period when truth by any means Congress tried to waylay!!

Anna's responded to Digvijaya's letter!!!! I think he should have ignored the letter because his response could start a 'letter war' between him and Digvijaya !! The letter that Digviajaya give as proof of Anna's and RSS's link proved nothing!!!! Yes RSS and BJP could have come out in support of Anna's fasts on corruption and political reasons.... but that does not make the movement was being remote controlled by RSS !!!! And Anna has very rightly pointed out to Digvijaya that if he was against corruption then why did he side with Kalmadi and Raja????

Anna ji abh don't respond to such letters and speak less!!!

Just sit and watch Congress getting itself into a bigger mess!!

What's happening.......CAG giving tongue lashing to Government .... Law Minister is telling the Courts to give 'justice the miss'........ Congress Spokesman giving accused in jail clean chits....Sonia allegedly ordering bail for Kani and CBI obliging....... Rahul Gandhi who is a Junior MP running around the Country as if he's the PM and PM who is supposed to be the Boss being ordered about......Planning Commission Deputy Chairman behaving like Congress's Spokesman and fibbing on inflation so as to calm Public outcry on inflation.... you have Central Minister responding to a murder saying ' the murdered was my Party worker so why are my political adversaries worried'..... HM and MOF in a no holds barred war and HM allegedly going to the extent of getting FM bugged.... Queen Sonia's illness and treatment being treated as a State Secret a la N Korea and China!!

Yeh kya ho raha hai.... andher nagri chaupat Sarkaar!!!!!

Hatao inn ko is the Public's pukaar!!!!

Advani's positioning his Yatra as 'Rot Yatra' or anti corruption Yatra.....but fact is the Yatra is so that he can re-throw his hat in the PM ring...... RSS had got him to say he was not in the PM race and in Advani style he did a flip after mouthing what RSS wanted him to say!! Uma wants Advani as PM as she does not want Sushma to even enter the PM race... if Advani is in the race Sushma will opt out!!!! Modi is keeping his cards close to his chest!!!! BJP is showing signals of floundering away an opportunity that Congress is literally giving it on a plate!!

Egged on by his family Advani says 'to become PM it is my baari'!!

And has literally kick started in upper echelons of BJP 'maara maari'!!!

PS...... Mohna says to tackle corruption RTI is effective tool but now it is time to do a critical audit of RTI.... the intention is so obvious!! Rahul loves aachaar .... he's been enjoying aachar during his home stays in UP.....enjoying the hospitality of the poor who cannot dream of eating the food they are serving him......and his Party has been serving us aachars in various forms.... brashtachaar, galath prachaar and atyachaar!!!!!

Pakistan : Obama's wars compulsory reading for Babus?
Pakistan Federal Government's Gazetted officers (of grade 17 and above) receive a book from cabinet division's services club every year at a nominal price that is deducted from their salary. Last year they received Amartya Sen's 'Idea of Justice'. Surprisingly the book distributed this year that has left many senior babus red faced is Washington Post's journalist Bob Woodward's 'Obama's Wars'. The selection is baffling as in one of the passages the author quotes President Asif Zardari advising the then CIA Director Gen Michael Hayden during a meeting in November 2008 to "kill the senior (militants). Collateral damage (caused by drone attacks) worries you Americans. It does not worry me". The passage was subsequently denied by the Pakistani establishment. Hussain Haqqani Pakistan's Ambassador to Washington has said, "I am amazed that the book was purchased in bulk and distributed to civilian officers". The book was reportedly selected by the Army Services Book Club (ASBC) even though Army's chief spokes person Maj Gen Athar Abbas claimed to be 'not aware' of the same.

"We are grateful to the Government of Madhya Pradesh and we certainly expect that egg laying farms will comply with this order," said N.G. I fully support the comments of M J John. The comments of Bharat Kumar are always one sided. In fact, the popularity of your site has gone to the head of this fellow. Please be impartial and write only what is neutral and does not give one sided story.

"Editorial comments are totally one sided."

M J John's broadside against WIC (Oct 14,11) is one sided. The WIC 's Editorials are mirror images of the imbalances, anomalies, intrigues and acrimonies afflicting the present Indian political society. The editorials target the pro- and anti- Establishment forces even handedly. The site does not need 'Good bahaviour' certificate from GoI. Its strength lies in its browsers.

RTI

Report of financial irregularities

A share holder and also the former director of a bank sought information about the alleged report sent to Chief General Manager of the Bank regarding the financial irregularities by certain individuals and the actions have been taken with regards to the report. It was denied claiming that the charges were not found to be true and the details of the enquiry can not be provided as the information is held by the RBI in a fiduciary capacity. The PIO also claimed exemption u/s 8 (1)(d) of the RTI Act observing that it would
effect the commercial confidence of the said bank. The CIC upheld the order holding that being a share holder or a former Director of the said bank has no impact on the said exemptions.
